I understand about being upfront and telling the person what you want. I don't think that interaction with most cases will results in anything if proper seduction and comfort doesn't take place. Well I agree, but it comes down to energy, time and resources. When the interaction and reading the interaction is not calibrated it's not just about a bruised ego. That's actually a good idea. One of the issues I'm having is that I'm not as sharp socially as I used to be or edgy enough. I got out of a long term relationship and I feel like a Golden Retriever. Man, I'm about to find out myself. One thing I'm doing personally is traveling to another city away from my local social circle. This way if I make mistakes (and I will) it won't bring me down, rather it will be a learning experience when I'm back in my own city and can't find people to go out with.
