To 1 in the title: Yes. these people are often victims of rape or sexual assault in the first place. Besides, people can change, and demonizing them reduces the chance that they will. Wouldn't it be better for them to become contributing members of society? To 2: yes, but only because society also thinks that all or most men want to rape, and women never do, although there is no evidence for either of those beliefs. If society recognized that this isn't the case, my response to 2 would be no.

I think that saying "look, x gender has the potential to be dangerous, so I'll avoid them" and saying "everyone in x gender is dangerous" Both WGTOW and MGTOW(as well as way too many people in general) often fall into the trap of the second one, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they always do. The first one I'd disagree with that logic, but I wouldn't view it as misandry or misogyny.

This is made worse by the fact that, even if you ignored that the Elam article was satire, it ultimately just says "if you're attacked, fight back" Yes, he'd be saying "fight back in excess", but that's less extreme than the article it's satirizing. Of course, it's a moot point since it was incredibly well labeled satire. There is no way in hell someone missed an article with that many notes that it was satire.

I'm not a lawyer, but if you're in the U.S., I think that some states allow the statute of limitations for a malpractice suit to start from when you turn 18, so depending on how old you are now and what jurisdiction it happened in, you may still be able to sue.

If this was 20 years ago, I'd say fine - they just don't have any men's rights people around. But there's absolutely no chance the UN doesn't know about this. Even from an ivory tower you can see society's outline changing. They are deliberately refusing to acknowledge men. I actually think that the UN has someone monitoring subs like r/mensrights, since one time there was an issue with something they put out that ended up getting posted to the sub. It was fixed within a few hours.

Assuming your numbers are accurate, that means that 20% of men aren't happy with a decision they had no part in. Why should something be done as a child if that large of a group doesn't like it? It can be done with their consent as an adult. There's nothing wrong with liking being cut. I don't think anyone has an issue with voluntary circumcision made by an adult.

The difference is in what is done by the people actually doing things. Have those people had a significant negative effect on the lives of thousands if not millions of women? That being said, females should only be used if you are also using the term males. The same is true with men and women. Finally, your specific situation with your friend is not a men's rights issue. Doesn't matter. Drug, trespassing, and theft charges don't make someone deserving of death, and even if it were, it's not the polices decision to make. The only reasons police should kill someone are self defense or defense of others. Not necessarily. People with depression can be really good at hiding it. In many cases, the only way to tell that this isn't the person's natural personality is to know them beforehand. Source: personal experience. I remember considering suicide as far back as first or second grade. Some of my earliest memories are what I now recognize as symptoms of depression. I try to always challenge this with role reversal. From what I've seen, men's lib ultimately believes that men's problems are caused by those men. Since it's their own fault, they can be helped once they aren't deserving of death as much. Menslib seems to hate men, including themselves, either consciously or unconsciously. That being said, I don't really read that sub, so I'm not that qualified to answer the question. Which is probably the cause of most discrimination they actually do face. Most women's issues are due to discrimination against men. Scared to walk alone at night? Men are actually in more danger. The media just is more concerned about women. Medication improperly dosed? Primarily men were used in testing to avoid endangering women. Wage gap? Nonexistent-but there is an earnings gap. Men are more driven to make money because they are valued based on that. Women are valued for existing.

So it might have more to do with crime rates and how often police come into contact with them. Similar to how men are way more likely to be killed.
