I wonder how many years my hart has lost with all she put me through. I went to the cardiologist because of heart murmurs, he said I was all fine and what I had was anxiety!!! Guess where it was coming frrom?

Similar to my experience. Her actions are biting and the kids suffer. My daughter, older throught the separation(high schooler), puts a gacade, but I know she hurts. But I talk to her frequently and try to mitigate. My son, considerably younger, ADHD and in the spectrum, has a very hard time. Especially since I am several states away due to work. He can't express and bottles up, misbehave and has school issues having a hard time to learn. When she finally realized her actions she started therapy…

Good spirit! I had two kids when it all happened, and my relationship with them and their future will never be the same. I hit the gym, continued focusing on work. She gained a lot of weight, after the travels (on my dime) to scandinavia and Thailand

Welcomonto the club my friend. Get out of this situation, away from her and from anything you have together, any joint stuff. Go to the gym, work out, do some good things for you and get a good therapist. A GOOD one, not these HMO charlatains. I will tell you, a good therapist will cost, but they will help you and you will "graduate", not be milked. In a couple of years, life will get better. Time heals all wounds. And you will learn to live your best life. A lot of what you may be feeling is fe…

Ir ALWAYS lack accountability for the woman. Remember, we men grow up hearing " You have to donthe right thing"(for you and everyone around)...What is taught to girls from the get go? "Girl, you have to donwhat is right, for you". This is endemic. And we all, sociiety, suffers from that. They are always the victim, and we are the bad wolf.

I thought everything was OK, until it all hit, and them I could see ERVERYTHING in hindsight, especially after therapy. Things had not been good forever, pretty much 2/3s of the marriage things were bad, really bad. Even some friends noticed, but they mever said anything, only afterwards.

Amen brother! Certain things come for the better. I thought the same way once, about seeing her with another guy, in a future mutual friends party....the reality is that she gained weight, visibly aged, our friends banned her, while I lost weight, made new friends, met a few women - all more mature, and better than her, every single one. She ruined our family, our kids future (remember those college funds, and that hope of a stable home? yeah she destroyed it) ...better sooner than later. I see …

It also depends in the individual. I am a very "soft hearted" guy and I cherish physical closeness and feel a lot when my kids go to their mom, the house feels like a mausoleum of my family's failure, there were ghosts there. After a week with the kids, the first night is specially difficult, the second it gets better. I was seing a girl and I would go to her house the first night, after droping the kids off, it would be better to manage the first night,.but I realized it was not the best for th…

That feeling goes away once you move on and start with other women. I assume your wife was a saty-at-home....thise are the ones that give you headache upon divorce. Any woman with her career and her salary, that has her things together will not give you much trouble during a divorce. You will be dragged over hot coals until your kids are big enough. And the worse the divorce,.the more you will reaent her, with resentment will come contempt, disgust and then aversion. You will not care who she is…

Dude, I got separated in 2022, and same here it was extremely tough. Worse because I have two kids, at the time 10 and 4. I was accused of a lot, went to therapy realized the problem was not me, got her friends stopping the friendship and telling me I did not deserve it, her father calling me to apologize, her mom asking me why I loved here and that she wouldn't. I went through a year and a half of therapy, expensive and out of pocket to be sure it was done right. I learned a lot about myself an…

Don't tell her and do not announce anywhere like LinkedIn. Make your email signature at work your name and company and contact info, no role.

Go to the gym. Get totally exhausted, even if you need 2x a week. Buy some weight or just do 100 pushups every time you start feeling the urges. I was addicted to my ex, now, the thought of her repulses me!

Know that it will get better and that you are ultimately better without her. I have two kids with the monster. You will ee, give time. go to the gym. Serious. GO TO THE GYM, make the best of yourself. Get a diet, gain muscles get toned and physically strong, channel any rage and feelings, any anxiety at the gym. You will see how much better you can do and the higher quality you can find out there if you are smart.

Same here, and I heard it ALL. I want her to eat shit and d*e, but because if the kids I decided to take the high road and wish her anything that will help my kids.

Ha, I did something similar, paid her beaugy degree at an expesive school and she barely uses it. I sacrifice carrer goal and relocated to plces that would help the family, helped her whole family as if it was mine. You did it all right, what a good man does. Get out with your head up. Don't accept paying anything for her. Walk tall and take the hard earned lesson. Enjoy your life for a bit, go to the gym, date young girls, enjoy yourself, in a few years you will find someone better and settle d…

I had a female lawyer, by design, since I was going through mediation with my lawyer. It worked ok. The major issue was the Judge who kept telling my ex she could ask for more! The initial mediator, who my ex had found, was saying, during the mediation, the "I am a feminist" line, after the damage of entitlement was done, I refused to work with that monster, and theeatened scortched earth. There was some guilt from my ex, aided by family pressure from her parents, since she was the one who screw…

If you function, skip the TRT. My marriage taught me ine thing: all we have is the Now, the next secind it can be all gone, relationships are hust like that.Enjoy what you have when you have it, planning too much will not necessarily help you. It is the nature if human being, women more so than men, but we are all guilty. Always be good with yourself, hit the gym and make sure you can enjoy things in life that does not depend in anyone else. It is sad, but it is also true. Accept it. And move on…

They blame us for exactly what they do. Projection. Don't worry and move in, it will be better for you in the long run. There are non-crazies out there. Just be patient and don't commit until you know the woman better.

That. When I had the kids, I realized mine was the hard job, hers was the easy part, and spending time with the kids. I wish I had her side of the original bargain. I pitty her for having it all and being so miserable. I am better off without her, my kids would be better off if I had ful custody as well. Better values. If it is up to her the kids will all be full of tattoos and piercings, no education, bumming around, "partying" and depressed. If they follow my footsteps, PhD mid 20s, healthy li…
