I've been walking on a walking pad for several miles multiple times a week for a couple years. I remember when I first started, doing five or six miles was a huge achievement. Now I can regularly do ten miles spread throughout a day and it barely fazes me. I'm not even back to perfect shape myself, but it's amazing how quickly the human body can change when you are persistent.

I've lost fifty five pounds or so in last several years. The funny thing is I still kinda look fat to myself in the mirror. I've got maybe another fifteen to lose to get really lean, but can see my face and potentially handsome features coming back. I'm still not exactly getting attention in the bar or club, but it doesn't feel impossible anymore.

Get a $150 walking pad and walk 30 mins every day at 3 mph. Or do longer walks 4 times a week. If you walk 10-20 miles a week and eat relatively healthily, you will lose weight. I used to be 5' 8", 238 pounds. I'm down to 179 on my last weigh. Took me 3+ years though, even with eating better, walking all the time (sometimes 20+ miles per week) and doing light lifting with adjustable dumbbells. It doesn't really work though when the women freeze up and can't maintain a conversation anymore, but then they "lose interest" because there's no "chemistry." I honestly don't even know how or what to talk to modern women about anymore. Their "interests + hobbies" aren't even actual interests. I live in a top 5 US city, population-wise. When walking down main commercial drags of bars/restaurants, I've noticed a huge change since the pandemic. Very rarely do you see groups of guys or couples, it's generally just big groups of women. Also restaurants all over the city are going out of business. It does feel like a social change is happening.

In my previous relationship, whenever my gf and I were together, we would put our phones away the entire time. While it ultimately didn't work out, that was one of my favorite qualities about her. She also had ZERO social media accounts at all. I haven't met a woman since that isn't 100%, all day, completely addicted to their phone.

There is nothing borderline violent in this thread. I do see some people attempting to shame men for not wanting to date women they don't find attractive.
