His question was in answer to hers. What should he have said, "well i think MSA's are terrorist sympathizers because... reasons..." She asked why he said that and he rebutted "Do you support terrorists?" to which she answered "yes." She doesn't have to condemn them, UNLESS she asks a question directly related. Since this line of questioning was already open, she then can ask him the same.

Then that should have been her question no? She didn't pose the question so why would he be required to answer it? Had she gone up there and asked from the beginning if he opposed the occupation then she would have had the same higher ground he attained. Even after stumbling she could have posed the question in rebuttal but instead decided to fuel the circlejerk that is middle eastern politics.
