I definitely feel like he sexually assaulted a lot of these women, but he also had consensual sex with a lot of them as well.

When it became clear that he was going down and it was an easy way to get attention and sympathy, I am sure a lot of these "victims" just lied about it.

No one is defending him for his unasked for advances, there seems to be a few stories where he genuinely sprung his decadence on unsuspecting women who weren't "in on the deal", he should be punished for that.

These women were already well off, they had their foot into the game, they just wanted MORE fame and MORE opportunities. They traded their body for Harvey's influence in Hollywood.

Honestly, it's not that uncommon for a victim of a sexual crime to have some sort of contact with their perpetrator. Even positive contact. Especially if it's someone they already know. It's also not uncommon for the victim to portray their perpetrator in a positive light and to accept gifts from them. Or as in this case to accept help for career advancement. Sexual assault and rape change the hardwiring of your brain. Sometimes your brain just wants to act like it didn't happen. It's a coping mechanism for some people. If the accusations are true, this behavior does not surprise me.
