My sympathies to anyone who has to endure a cheating spouse. She should have divorced him instead of staying and cheating, as an honest person would do. However it seems like for years he’s come home from work at 4 (9-4 are short hours!) and just collapsed in the sofa/bed waiting to be served dinner and then sleep, without trying to connect with his family, do any of the housework, or have sex with his wife? What the hell did he expect? The fact that he has no relationship with his kids is telli…

One of my best friends is a HVM I’ve been known since we were little kids. He gets compliments from me. My husband also gets compliments from me. And my dad. That’s about it. I’d recommend not complimenting men until you’re already very close to them and they’re less likely to misread it. Men you don’t know will often feel entitled to your praise, but it’s never actually helpful to give it to them. They just pester you even more. Also, it is 100% true that it’s dangerous to compliment your man’s…

1) Build up a career that you can always use to support your family if you end up on your own. Never totally give it up and ensure you remain relevant and active in the field throughout your life. 2) Focus on your health and fertility. Everyone in FDS should focus on their health, but if you want to maintain a strong and healthy body through multiple pregnancies you need to take it to the next level. Establish the eating and exercising (and self-care) habits you would need now, while you have th…

I wish I could upvote more than once. This made me belly laugh and cringe at the same time.

Oh yeah. Honestly I should have blocked him sooner, but this was before I had found FDS. All I knew was filing out his survey sounded like emotional labor, and I had no reason to do that since I was never going to talk to him again

OKC. Matched with this guy (don’t remember anything about his profile, I assume it was fine), he was really limp-wristed about chatting (non-committal, one-word answers). I told him we weren’t a good match and I’d be unmatching. He asked me to fill out a CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SURVEY about my experience with him. I skimmed out of curiosity—it was 20 questions long, “what did you enjoy,” “what did I do wrong” etc. I texted him “sending me this survey is what you did wrong.” Then I blocked him.

I’m so glad I asked, because those potential secondary functions sound fascinating! Now I need more studies on the clitoris lol

Also never. Halloween is for cool-ass costumes, always will be.

Just curious, what do you think the secondary function(s) would be? I can think of several human organs that are large and have only one function (lungs—>respiration, stomach—>digestion). Am I missing something here? I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having an organ just for pleasure.

Hmm. Well I’m not longer innocent, but I hope I’m more wise. There are so many wonderful things in the world to see and taste and do and learn and remember. And your life gets a lot better when you focus on them instead of the men who tried to make your entire life about their penises.

Also, for the lurkers: femdom caters to men too. That was one of the worst clap backs ever.

If it’s any consolation, we’re frustrated now so we don’t end up miserable later. Your post is such a mood, and whoever I feel that way I just head over to r/justnoSO and r/breakingmom and find my motivation to vet instantly restored. Note: please don’t brigade those subs. Don’t want to give reddit any reason to ban us.

Why would you want to embrace this fucker? I wouldn’t embrace him with a steel trap. Cancel your membership. Tell the gym exactly why, without ranting or asking for anything from them (since they’ve shown they don’t care). And rock on with your amazing fitness progress!

Trigger warning: guns Better yet, if you have the ability to do so safely, purchase and train to use a gun. Carry it on your person at all times. It’s true that guns can be dangerous to you if your attacker get ahold of them, which is why proper training and planning ahead to make sure that doesn’t happen is important. But it’s also true that most women can’t reliably overpower the majority of men in a hand-to-hand fight unless they train really hard (as in, potentially for years). But a gun sho…

Definitely don’t take men’s advice on this. Pretty sure what they actually meant with point 3 was “she strokes my ego and makes me feel special.” Anyway, I’m not looking to attract random men and get them “addicted” to me. My husband likes more than 3 things about me, because he likes me exactly as I am. If you want my advice, screw what the general mass of men want. Become your best self. So here are three ways to do that: Establish financial independence and move in a career direction you’re e…

100%. And also being trained to think that being polite to men is more important than her own safety.

Women are healthier their entire lives. Why do you think we live so much longer? It’s not just stupid lifestyle choices men make. X chromosomes have a lot more genetic material than Y chromosomes, and having two better protects you from disease. I’d rather live long than punch hard.

I actually met mine online. I guess miracles do happen lol (I still wouldn’t recommend online dating unless you have no other options, and I didn’t for reasons I won’t go into rn). I was half an hour late to our first date due to circumstances outside of my control. I was mortified to be so disrespectful of his time, but he waited patiently for me and to this day has never held it against me. That first date was supposed to just be a lunch, but it ended up going on for 7 hours across multiple ca…

Here’s my list: Is either currently employed or has a job lined up that meets my standards (well-paid and reasonable hours). Stylish dresser with good hygiene (brushes teeth 2x daily, showers with soap every day, clips fingernails, washes clothes and sheets regularly). Knows how to clean and cook well for himself, does at least 50% of the visible chores if we get together (this is because I’ve never met a man who took on anything higher than 40% of the emotional/mental labor, even the highest of…

OLD-specific: The men who are really fascinating at first, especially the ones who talk a lot more than you, have a funny story for every occasion, and have an amazingly put-together profile? Those men are dangerous users. They are trying to use OLD as a sex vending machine, and they’ll manipulate you to do it. Don’t help them.

It’s true. My fiancé has told me he was fully ready to marry me within about 3 months of meeting me. It took me a lot longer to vet him, and he didn’t want to scare me off, so he didn’t propose until we’d been together about 1.5 years, but he knew. They always know.

I’d also like to point out, they are clearly actually upset because their team lost/is doing badly. They’re at a sports game, and the score is right there in the picture. But femoids can’t like sports! It must actually be about Starbucks

Yes, if I have proof. They won’t listen to me otherwise. Regardless of proof, it WILL go badly. But it’s the right thing to do, and what I’d want someone to do for me.

“Words have definitions.” Love the condescension. No one has ever alleged that they don’t. They just might disagree about what a word’s definition is or should be, or what that means in practice. Until about the 1970s, the definition of rape specifically excluded non consensual sex between husbands and wives. When women lobbied to change that, we weren’t saying “rape” didn’t have a definition. In practice, sexism could mean treating women as different or inferior when they are not (like assuming…

Here’s a good question: why the hell would you get engaged if you don’t actually plan to get married this side of the millennium? An engagement is ALL ABOUT how you’re going to get married. That’s what “engaged (to be married) means. And here’s the answer: it’s a shut-up ring. He has no intention of ever marrying her, because he thinks he can do better. He will ditch her when she gets too old for him or starts demanding more from the relationship, and then she will have zero legal protection for…

TFW I used to believe this...thought I was being feminist because I didn’t want to accept women were not as good at punching people. (As if someone’s inherent value as an individual = their skill at punching people! SMH) I tried to persuade my man that if he was really a feminist he would agree with me. He was courteous to me but was not having it at all. Thanks goodness...though I didn’t realize it at the time, I’d never actually want to date a man who thought it was okay to hit me.
