See, this is a situation where no anon could help you. You say in your main post that you’re thinking of leaving her the next day, but here you’re saying you won’t find anyone else like her. No one is going to make the decision for you when you yourself are very much undecided.

It won’t be the same as it might seem to you now. By the time you achieve success, a lot of time will pass, and you will change to a point where having a success story won’t matter. Right now, you are measuring your success based on what you were during the relationship. I went through this, I was terribly heartbroken, I went through 3+ years of hard work after ‘that’ breakup. It was a rollercoaster, I got laid off work, had to move cities 3 or 4 times. During that time, I always kept my ex in m…

Yeah you're right. I don't have the logistics right now as I'm staying with parents while on holidays. I might hit her up in a few days if I have an opportunity but otherwise I'll ignore.

Thanks, yes that was a mistake that I didn't push for sex, almost always I try to do it on the first date but my logistics are terrible at the moment.

Yes, I see where you are coming from. I didn't know these things about him. I also noticed the point about shit tests, didn't quite understand why he rooted for ditching girls who show no interest. Thanks for showing this.

What other ways to accept myself can I employ then, besides gradually telling people truths about myself? That is something I don't see very clearly yet.

I love photography and my instagram has decent following and cool photos (mostly architecture and nature), girls really like this and it always worked as a conversation starter. Funny enough almost all the girls I fucked off tinder have photos of them that I took on the first or second date. I don't have any photos of me besides the profile pic. However unless you actually enjoy photography and take decent photos this may not work for you, I do it for myself mostly as a way to express myself.

She isn't even 18. Girls at that age are stupid as fuck when it comes to seeing older guys. She might have been nervous if she doesn't have a lot of sex experience. Not sure why you are overthinking this anyway, girls don't overtext for no reason so she probably likes you enough. To me, the fact that she let you finger her is enough - you may easily have proper sex next time. If anything, it may indicate that she is not a slut (yet), but just really likes you.

Bro, I was the same as you, looked very young at 21. At 22 started lifting, was a shitty lifter to be fair so didn't change much. But I started looking hot due to being fit. And at 24 I was at the peak of my facial looks for sure. Then recently I blew up in terms of size, I'm 28 but my face looks almost ideal, I like it more now because it's chiseled. It's very helpful. Are you handsome? If yes, then if you do sports and keep yourself healthy, sleep well, don't overdo drugs and booze, you're gon…

Hey bud, just to give you a heads up. I'm 28. I've just returned to the gym for the first time since last september. Been training for 5 years prior to that, and the final year saw me finally getting insane gains. Then, in September, I couldn't train anymore due to varicose vein that developed in my leg. This bitch hurt so much and would get swollen, so I had no choice but to stop doing one of the things that was giving me such pleasure. Well, so I started saving up for a surgery. Things got so …

50mg is A LOT. I used to go with 12.5mg, but that's purely due to anxiety. Back in the day when I was lifting, it was just a small addition - instant hard on otherwise.

Well, if you need any reassurance, then I do genuinely feel sorry for you. Mistakes are made, but that's how you learn not to do them again. There isn't anything you could do now to improve the situation. Women are like that if something cracks in their head (like they decide you are a beta, or crazy) then it's impossible to change their minds. At the very least, I haven't seen such cases. It hurts as fuck to men, but that's something you'll have to live with now. Posting pictures of fine ass gi…

You've put into words something I've been thinking about recently. When I remember my ex, I remember the experiences. Music is very important for me and it's probably one of the easiest emotional triggers for me. When I listen to certain tracks I experience joy and desire to live, and I have many tracks I associate with my ex. I thought it was me and her who created this. But after years, I started noticing that I have the same emotional experience with music even without my ex. Which made me th…

Fair, what do you do in London alone? I drove there last Saturday night as I wanted to capture a video for YouTube with my dashcam, but the traffic is so hectic even at night so I left quickly. I want to visit the British museum again, as last time 3 years ago I went with my ex and couldn't enjoy it properly. Keep 1-2 things dear to you, like photos. Put them in the furthest closet you can find. Years later you will look and remember how young you were.
/r/askTRP05/04/18 12:50 PM

Thanks man that's really helpful. Yeah those are rack pulls that I do with 120kg, they feel fairly easy as I try to distribute the load on both legs and back depending on the weight and how I feel about the legs. I will probably add the 3rd day which would be hypertrophy, with some extra light leg work. And you're right on the progress, I think I've reached a point of uncertainty so had to have some direction, thanks for this.
/r/askTRP05/04/18 12:49 PM

I have a bad leg condition which doesn't let me put a significant load on my legs at this point. Should be better after the operation in a few months. I do half deadlifts where the bar rests just a bit below the knee level and I can do 120kgx5 no problem, although obviously I don't really use legs there, mostly lower back and back. Squats I do 50 reps with 50kgs every other workout. I could go to gym more than than but to be fair I'm always knackered, especially after bench day.

Ok my man, but please tell me if I should go for volume training more than strength, then?
/r/askTRP05/04/18 08:57 AM

Hey man, that makes sense. So just swap 5x5 with 4x10 or something like that? Any suggestions for a volume program?
/r/askTRP04/04/18 07:14 PM
1

Ok dude. It's just that I've tried a lot of programs previously and figured that the only one working for me is the one I made myself, due to my lifestyle, so I just crammed all compounds I could to do them all the time. Regarding legs, yeah, I have bad varicose veins and honestly don't want to do heavy leg work at least before I get a removal operation. I've tried PHUL, 5x5 and many other things besides 5/3/1. Guess it's an option to consider now.

Move on. In a week there will be another one. And then another one. Your job is to make sure you are not becoming an orbiter. And that means you are withdrawing attention completely. Go to that class and just pretend she doesn't exist. And if she talks to you be positive and don't take anything seriously. It's her turn to make a move now. If she doesn't, move on.

I have a little mantra for myself I came up with whenever I'm doing something that I feel is questionable. I ask 'Am I trying to validate myself?' and if the answer seems to be yes I reevaluate my position. It does seem that the great war is inevitable. Something horrible needs to happen to restart the process and let people reevaluate themselves, similarly to what happens when you have a huge tragedy in life, you change. And realization of this is fucking scary.

Creatine is the only really worthwile supplement. It actually makes you endure more load and subsequently lift more. It also makes you a bit swole. It doesn't matter AS MUCH how many days your work out. If you can have 3 days with really nice exhausting workouts you will make gains. You don't even have to eat a shit load of protein or specific macros to get big. You just need to eat more than your spend and eat relatively healthy. Unless you are planning to compete or smth like that.

Honestly these healthy food lists never work. Imagine someone who's been eating sweets and shit food every day for 30 years. Now you're showing them a list with bananas, oranges, eggs and other plain shit and tell them they'll need to eat only that for a month, 3 months, 6 months, a year etc. Learn to include shit food in your diet. Just don't buy a lot of sweets at the same time, if you have a problem. If you go shopping just buy 1 chocolate, this way you won't be tempted to eat 3 if you don't …

You can have a cheat meal pretty much every day. As long as it fits your macros. As a man who is lifting you usually need around 3000 calories a day. You can fit both healthy and cheat food in this amount. I don't understand people who never indulge unless they are competing. YOLO.

All good, but I would also add that you should lift like crazy, not just lift, if you want to stay lean and even grow some muscle. 3-4 times a week pushing yourself is necessary. Good idea also focus on bodyweight excerices for a leaner look, especially considering that it gets much easier as you are losing weight. I went from barely 50 chinups at 86kg in May to 160 chinups in September at 75kg just because of lower weight. And my arms are super veiny and abs are ripped. Also don't care too much…

Yeah dude you're not the only one. It's very similar with me. I only have a handful of friends (though they would a lot for me) but I don't hang out much with people. Calculate your maintenance calories and reduce by 500. This will allow you to lose about 1-3kg a month without going insane. Cut for as long as needed (may take 5-6 months). You don't have to do cardio at all if you eat less than you consume.

It's a nice progress post but... the place is wrong. I mean, I come to this page to look at the theoretical and practical insights from people who have actually already achieved something significant and can share solid truths. It's the main page, after all. Your post does not contribute much, unfortunately. Perhaps this sub needs a Field Report / Progress section, just like AskTRP. Would be much nicer to keep things there. Otherwise, the main page becomes a junkyard (no offense).

I like accents of different peoples. Working in the office in the UK. Couple of times in a friendly conversation I mentioned indian food and jokingly spoke about curry with an indian accent. Note that I have 0 racism, especially towards indians.

That's the bad side of LTR... you get closer to a person and inevitably lose some frame and become vulnerable. And that makes you paranoid cause you can never be 100% sure it's not gonna happen. That's why you need to work on building defences if something like that happens. I mean emotional defences. And it also seems that paranoia and your gut are the same thing.

People giving you advice without knowing the details - bad. Describe your training program and your diet and then we can form opinions.

I would say PHUL is the next good step after 5x5, at least volume-wise.

I would say PHUL is the best for me. It has a good balance of hypertrophy and strength. You don't have to strictly follow PHUL, you can include your own exercises. What's the most important in PHUL is the volume. As long as you are keeping the same volume as in PHUL, even with your own exercises, you will grow (if you are bulking of course).

Unfortunately 5x5 sucks for size as well as basically anything else. Also your post is missing a) weight progress b) progress pictures which are the most important measures of success. Not just your body mass.

I think you know the answer man. Vanish. If she makes up your mind she will let you know. But don't hope for anything and try to forget her asap.

Just wanted to say thanks as a noobie. All my life I thought I'd have to date a few girls and then find 'the one' and live with her till the rest of my days. When I was 25, so about a year ago, this thought started frightening me. I was in an LTR. She broke up with me because I was boring and not committing enough. Then I discovered RP. Now I know that my life is safe because I can do whatever the fuck I want to do with it. It's a hard pill to swallow but the opportunities it gives are just ridi…

Ah, ok. My bad - sorry. I this case, it went great and he is lucky that she spread her legs.

Well from my experience if she's at yours / he's at her's and didn't fuck it's not going anywhere unless she really really really really really really liked him. The only conclusion from such events is that you did well but failed at the most crucial part. I mean you should have posted it after he fucked her, not before.

You know what, actually, I realized that you're right. There is no point to be soft because you may give a false impression that 'everything is fine' and you shouldn't 'force anything on yourself' when clearly there are issues present.

You don't have to be rude to be real, friend. As I said, I agree with what you're saying and your advice is useful, I don't just get why you have to call someone a 'kid' like if you have any superiority over that person.

While I agree that you offered a great insight into how to become more self-disciplined, you've been very rude to absolute strangers so go fuck yourself mate.

I'm in the UK, I'm Eastern European, I fall under many characteristics that can be described as 'non-ethnic', I'm tall and girls always tell me I'm handsome, I am european-looking, but I have a non-british NAME, which has indeed caused me a lot of trouble. For instance, I didn't have a single date on Tinder. Yet I really don't give a fuck. It's not something that I'm fixated on.

Wow. How interesting. Yes, I had that sunshine that you are talking about when I was around 18-19. what you need to do is work on letting those bad feelings surface and play themselves out inside you. What does that mean? How do I do that? Your post is an eye-opener. Thank you.

It just seems that I'm not happy with neither of those, mate. Like, I enjoy life, of course, but there doesn't seem to be that inner strength. I have my best friends who is always very positive, you know, AMAZINGLY positive, while his life is quite boring, actually. I would even say that it is in some ways worse than mine. On the other hand, he attracts people and manipulates them very well which allows him to always have someone around him. It just shows me that you can be happy with yourself. …

There is another side of the problem with the porn, though. My friend told me that due to masturbating too often he couldn't feel much on his dick unless it was rubbed directly under the head. This allowed him to have sex for 2-3 hours without ejaculating, not ejaculating at all.
