This is so tragic. She did the right thing after having most of her life ruined, and now the government is looking to ruin the rest of it. It's horrendous what happened to her and is still happening to her. She did something that the government and legal system should have done, and look what she is getting. I've been fortunate enough to never read it. I took one look at the description and reception and decided that was enough for me. I've always had issues with this type of romanticization of BDSM because it helps make the view that women overwhelmingly like BDSM, and thus like BDSM-esque abuse. In turn, it also could lead to the objectification of women even more. Like we are just walking talking sex dolls that need to be harshly shut up or else. It's disgusting.

Thank you! Yeah, it's honestly a real problem with our "modern" world. We're raised from a very young age to serve and never be served. Look but never be seen. I'm glad women are now able to talk about this issue with other women. Maybe more spaces like this will help us break this mindset.
