Well, I kicked my depression in the arse, picked up some sports and traded in weight for confidence, lol. I'm high on life now, I love it. Now it just happens, dunno... I guess looking handsome and confident puts some girls over the edge :P My approaching is still kinda stuck in platonic mode, the way it has been the last ten years, but I'm sloowly getting out of there. The upside is that experiencing something like that first-hand is much more reassuring and convincing than getting told my some…

Thank you :) This year I went from nowhere to getting approached in clubs! But I really have to work on approaching.

Oh I was definitely rock-bottom and humble enough, lol! Oh well, now I'm more confident and definitely don't want to go back down there...

Some women have hero complexes. In that case all they're looking for is a guy with low self esteem that will value them and make them feel like they have something to offer. Too bad I never met one of those in all the years I had very low self esteem.

I wrote on their receipt if she could “Rate my service on a scale of 000-000-0000 to 999-999-9999.” Then with a blank spot set up for the number. Yeah, that's definitely plausibly deniable. cough

Can you completely overcome your fear of approaching humans? FTFY. And, no, you can't fully. Even veterans like former RSD coach Todd still have it. But you can learn to deal with it in a way it doesn't hinder you anymore.

It feels kinda separate though, at least part of it... And it ruins the actual approach. When it's like two girls standing and not in a conversation (which rarely happens, obviously) I have it much easier since I'm not interrupting them. Then I just walk over and say "hi". ...thinking about it, the only anwer will probably be "try it over and over and prove yourself wrong".

Or they just go out in a group. It's nice that this works better in other countries, but here, groups often want to stay among themselves

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
