The only difference between the two is you can easily spend 200 on dinner, cocktails, and transportation for a date (pending city and date spot) and MAYBE you get sex after that date, but probably have to invest another 2-400 before that for most men. You also have to make every single payment on time over those ten years, I am sure they DQd themselves month 2 or 3. Many learn this lesson the hard way after 10 years of slavery at a non-profit when they could have jumped to the private sector after 2 years, got a pay increase, and paid the loans off before the ten year point. This would require some long term thinking and planning though, wouldn’t count on that.
