Yeah same here. She is too busy being a victim and placing herself first that she ignores the pain our child is keeping to himself 🥲

I complete agree. Casual sex can be ok, but it is the deeper connection that should be what it is all about for me.

Well… everything I went somewhere alone I just kept thinking “what a shame I can’t share this with my wife and son”. I am just too much of a family man I guess.

My wife taking our son somewhere was never a problem because I knew they will return and we were a family. Now it is the feeling of losing both. My wife has checked out already and I will have to miss 50% of my sons life. That hurts so much it is hard to cope. Yeah I have been single for a long time before my marriage and I never liked being alone.

After a day alone, missing my stbxw and especially my son, I feel depressed up to the point I feel my life is worth nothing anymore. I feel angry, then depressed. Hoping for better days.

Yes I do. Worked my ass off for 20 years and put everything into my family, the house and holidays. My attorney said the courts will accept me going to 26 (or 28?) hours a week if I am too miserable to work or need to be available for my kid. I think I will try to find a job that fits that. Even though my stbxw would get monthly alimony which is higher than my salary (forcing me to work 50 hours per week just to make end meet), this may get me out of that.

This. The only way I can keep earning what I did would be if my wife would take care of some of the other things. But our system is flawed.

It really IS crazy. My wife and I would get into a verbal fight and afterwards she would bitch about things I said and thought. Except those things never happened. She made up completely random statements and get angry about them. And just now I found out she even logged being “afraid of me” with some support groups to build a case against me. Last time she randomly yelled she was scared I would hurt her, and found out it was all for an iPhone recording! To be clear: I never threatened her or pu…

Same here. My stbxw recorded a lot of stuff. Even went to professionals crying over my (fantasized) autism and how she was depressed because of me. All BS of course. Unfortunate she never talked to ME to get issues resolved. Only tried to be the victim and build records everywhere. Big breach of trust.

This is good advice. But for me, I need to mourn before I can do that…

This +1. Don’t fuck around because medicating your preteen kids unnecessarily is no joke. Is your wife suffering from Munchausen by Proxy? Seeking attention by making her kids sick?

Starting a divorce now. I have an 11 yo son and just can’t imagine not seeing him every day! How do you cope, do you message him daily?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
