But a bar or a club or even a coffee shop is fair play. Most people would not fault a man shooting their shot in those thirdspaces. A Gym is a hazardous place for an approach because it's a place where you're constantly seeing the same people everyday, and if things go wrong with an approach, you could be risking your gym membership.

How women select for men after the age of 24. Suddenly the Neanderthal looking mofo with his brow Ridge and strong features who was mogged by pretty boys in his youth start having a late 20s glow up as the pretty boys hit the wall and resemble JD Vance

Im loving the death of Romcoms and romance as a movie genre. It was a mistake filling young womens head with unreasonable expectations for a man, who apparently needs to be the king of the dancing monkeys to be seen as worthy according to romcoms and romance movies of the 00s. Nor do we need more media pushing retrograde male gender roles and narrow masculinity.

You're still thinking the economy will function as it did since the Thatcher era. Theres a good chance that by the time millennials and Gen Z retire, AI would have replaced 50 per cent of jobs. We need to start taxing Billionaires more.

My sister went through the same thing. As her MS got worse, her husband grew distance and later had an affair. They're currently going through seperation and now Im tasked with looking after her kid as she try to pay for the home loan. I think we underappreciate how hard women with chronic illnesses also have it. Men may find it harder to get into relationships when they have a chronic illness but women find it difficult to maintain a relationship during a battle with chronic illness

Yep I feel you bro. I was a Chadlite as a youngin and I had great experiences with women early, but when my childhood PTSD started to give me severe anxiety, I noticed how much my relationships just began to unravel due to the fact that I couldnt perform masculinity properly. Performstive masculinity takes it toll and many women I notice are more than happy to reject you if you can fulfill what they see as a man, someone who can perform constantly. Unfortunately, this does disadvantage those of …

Basically what most progressive women want ime. A man who abides by gender roles and gendered expectations even if theyre not abiding by gender norms themselves. Although they're not as toxic as that person obviously. If you can't perform masculinity(and I'm sure her list doesn't just stop at doing generically masculine stuff), then you're a non entity as a man. Most progressive women I know are like this which sucks when you refuse to do the dance of masculinity because it doesn't gel with you,…

Most women can help it though. As I understand for many women, seeing a man diverge from the masculinity script is like the average man seeing a woman who is unkept, obese and masculine. It's unattractive But both men and women should strive to be more considerate of the pressures the other is facing when it comes to gendered expectations. Especially for men because we haven't really had a liberation movement and our ability to follow the masculine script has direct impact on our sexual attracti…

If you go to female dominated blue pill adjacent spaces, there is a narrative that a man's moral virtue and behaviour is directly related to his dating success or inability to find a relationship. With the implication that women qualify men as worthy mates due to their character and virtue. Id say this narrative is less present in BP male spaces. But if you spent anytime with normie women, this is a common sentiment when they start talking about dating and relationships, especially on the intern…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/25 05:41 AM

The most egregious blue pill lie is that morality or toxicity has any bearing on dating success, and that men's gender roles and expectations are not as strict among women as they claim. Being socially awkward or introverted as a man is in violation of gendered expectations, which many women irrespective of ideology will enforce or atleast give positive reinforcement. The man box is tiny but people like to pretend that it isn't because they can't bring themselves to admit that many women are stu…

How can you sexualise someone who you grew up with? Many of my cousins are good looking people too but it never crossed my mind. My cousin just filed a divorce from a guy I warned her about several years ago. This is the second time my predictions about the men the young women in my family married turned out to be true. She's an educated lady who received a 99.6 in her Atar(which means she's mensa tier levels of genius), and she had a really good male role model growing up by having a responsible doctor father, yet she doesnt have a great "Arsehole" radar when it comes to men she's romantically involved with. Or worse, tell the undesirable men who aren't getting any dates to reel in the behaviour of these bad but attractive men for their sake so they can be more open to dating more men, and maybe, just maybe they'll date you. In a sort of trickle down sexual economics kind of way.

Yep. Women would much rather wait their turn in the serial monogamy merry go round with Chad or a high value Beta than entertain a lesser man, then complain about becoming single mothers when their valued partners start looking around for novelty pussy or a change in partners. The increase in single motherhood and the higher rates of high value men having children with multiple women and the increase in forever childless men are all linked.

It's why I think it's futile for some guys to believe women will help them with their loneliness crisis or dating woes if they beg enough. It really is a dog eat dog dating world, and one genders loss is the other genders gain. It's why I dont blame guys for exploiting women when they do reach the summit. Modern dating creates narcissists in both genders.

Its a mutually beneficial arrangement. The older woman gets a young tight thing who can last long in bed, and the young guys get experience and sexual release. I'm not surprised this is becoming common. Blame young women for increasing the yardstick for younger men so much so that guys are dating wonen who are closer to their mothers age to get their needs net.

Most people lie about n count. Most people lie about things they believe will affect their partners view of them
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/25 06:16 AM

Most young men grow out of this mindset after seeing the average womens sexual escapades. It's a very common mindset for guys under 22. It starts to become delusional if you're still not married after 21. Who knew that women have needs and enjoy sex as much as men and will naturally rack up what the average man would see as a high n count throughout their lives?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/25 04:32 AM

People lie. Especially women about their n counts. A man should never trust n counts from a woman. It's better just not to care and enforce your own sexual boundaries and standards. For me, its 4 dates and if she doesn't put out, she's not interested and is only looking for a meal ticket.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/25 04:24 AM

The only men who judge women for n counts are insecure men, men from traditional cultures and incels. Ive known women who are sexually promiscuous, and they never had trouble finding a quality man who respects them. Plenty of women also lie about n count. N count is so anachronistic. Most men have to get used to the fact that low n count is an outdated expectation. And it's not like they'll ever know if their partner has a low or high n count either. These days, it's better for men to assume mos…

Will there ever be a point in time when masculinity isn't gatekept? I feel like every group has its own version of aspirational masculinity that its adherence are pressured into conforming or looking up to. Even leftists have their own kind of aspirational masculinity, although it's probably enforced in a more subtle way than to say organised religion. I don't know if it's Aliens or some kind of AI, but clearly weird is happening in our skies and Oceans.

Read some Jacque Vallee. We've been seeing them for thousands of years, but each era, their appearance change according to what we perceive is just beyond the current state of the art in technology. This phenomena has been with us for thousands of years. I dont think it's classic grey Aliens. It's clearly something more. I don't think we will ever know what it is, atleast in our lifetime

When I'm 35, I'm definitely going full Unc core, but now, I can pass as 25-26, so yeah, might aswell dress like someone who's mid 20s. Fortunately Unc fashion is a lot better now than when I was a kid.

Oh yeah. Im definitely going through a zuck phase at 30 and dressing like a zoomie. Ihad to throwaway all my levi tight jeans a few weeks ago because they were starting to look dated. I have big thighs as a result of my cycling hobby and gym, so I'm kind of grateful that Zoomers think parachutes pants are cool. I think generally, fashion is similar to anyone under 40. I think the exception is that both of you and your friend know you're not each other's type. I had a female friend growing up and I think it helped that she was so into hyper masculine bad boys(which I'm not) and I thought she wasn't attractive enough and too feminine for me. But yes, if your female friend is even adjacent to the kind of women you're into and is attractive, theres a good attraction will develop from the man's side.

Norway is as close you can get to a western neoliberal welfare state utopia. Ive studied your countries sovereign wealth fund. Only Qatar might have your country beat for living standards. You guys had smart leaders unlike us Aussies who decided to give the rich most of the mineral wealth, without even putting the profits in a SW. All they did with the money was use it for corporate buybacks and forms of legal bribery to keep the gravy train flowing.

One thing I miss about being a Chadlite/prettyboy is women approaching you for dates. Once a straight man taste the sweet life of dating like a gay man and having women approach, woo and cherish you because you have inherent value , it's hard to go back to the plantation of dating such as when you're apart of the bottom 80 percent of men. Guys, it really is as good as you'd imagine it. God I miss role reversal. In a just world, all men should experience role reversal at least once in their lives…

Relationships are always hard work. Being good looking just means the first stages of dating is easier. But Women, especially above a certain attraction threshold do want guys who are masculine and competent, and you have to always prove yourself.

Latino girls are coming to Australia to become baristas, ubereat drivers, and corporate types and I' am so glad for it. I'll definitely go to a Latino festival this summer with the boys.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 01:51 AM

When I was younger, I used to play that game and I used to get grey hair from entertaining some broad I really liked and constantly performing masculinity to suit her vibe. Ofcourse that wasn't the only reason why I was getting greys at 21, but it was a major factor. That was back when I derived a ton of validation from success with women. People underestimate the kind of stress guys can be under just grinding away in relationships and dating. It's substantial if it doesn't come naturally to you…

/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/25 07:45 PM

If you go clubbing or to the bars, you'll realise many normie gen Z girls are a bit more boring and lacking in social skills than millenial women. Every girl seems to want to behave like a wall flower, pretty and non divisive. No one tries to set themselves apart unlike guys who kind of need to. Conformity is extra strong with this generation. It might be because of the Pandemic and social media. But I do feel like it's a generational change.

Penis size preference is an important and legitimate physical preference to have. The key to finding the right partner is to find someone who matches you sexually, and there's nothing more rudimentary than finding someone who isn't going to tear you in half or do nothing for you as a woman, and for a man, someone who isn't going to give your little man a penis fracture because it doesn't fit right. Many women think sending lonely guys to war and letting them die on the battlefield would solve the issue of male loneliness. What makes you think they care that loneliness is the equivalent of smoking a pack a day for a man when it comes to cardiovascular health? Loneliness is an issue for men to solve. Don't expect empathy for men or solutions from women.

We are trapped by the prison of performative masculinity and women and society are the warden. I used to hate this fact of the male experience when I was younger and experiences directly how male vulnerability kind of hugely detracted from someone value as a mate as someone who had his fair share of adversity, but now I've began to learn to live with it. You have to realise, women kind of directly benefit from things being harder for men in dating and LV men getting hurt. Sexual realpolitiks n all. Women aren't wonderful. It's trendy for hookups maybe but people still want to have relationships and build a longterm partnership with those who look like them. I think it's Australia aswell. God bless these parents. Hopefully we can change society one family at a time. Thank you for giving me hope. Personally I've seen the changes in my own family coming from a traditional and successful Afro-Armenian family where many of the women(we have more women than men in our family) have married lower income guys who are taking care of the domestic duties and treat marriage like a team effort where those with the right skillsets apply their strengths in different areas of family life, irresp…

America had a flourishing feminist movement in the latter half of the 20th century, although not to the extent of Australia, which is probably one of the main centres of the 2nd wave feminist movement and is highly urbanised compared to the US so thebfeminist movement gete had wider reach in terms of population. I'd say do some research, I'm sure it'll bear lots of fruit when it comes to examples of state and federal government led feminist initiatives and cultural movements led by advocates. Im…

Raising the age of marriage was a feminist issue. That's just one example. There are plenty. Oh yes. Because your very personal case is indicative of all men who fall below a certain income bracket.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 03:39 PM
2

I mean, that's the case if you think all low wage men are emotionally infantile and stunted individuals who can't be team players within marriages, which is as misandrist as you can get. But I guess in the hyper capitalist shithole of America, lower class men are used to having their financial status be indicative of their worth, character and temperament to the average elitist upper middleclass snob who likes to browbeat on less fortunate men as a way of punching down on an acceptable target.

But you're talking about the institution of marriage, which has seen decades long declines in participation with the rise of forever bachelours/bachelourettes, single mothers, and defacto relationships. Marriage is increasingly the domain of the previleged and I do think it's related to the decline in male earning power relative to women. So you may be right that some men might have struggled either way, I think it's hard to argue that the game has gotten harder and you're seeing more men become…

No. I think naturally, if you're going to equalise the sexes, you're going to gave to normalise egalitarian relationships or relationships where women are the breadwinners since the numbers of male primary breadwinners will reduce. Or else you're going to create a dysfunctional dating and relationship environment since lots of men will feel like theyre failing to live up to ideals that is becoming more difficult to fulfill as a result of systemic and economic changes. But fuck men I guess.

Im not saying women dont deserve basic rights, but I do think we should be preparing society for the day when the male primary breadwinner role will become redundant as women equalise in many areas, or even surpass men. I didn't say happy, I said content. Happiness is a difficult summit for most people to reach, let alone the chronically single. But being content will mean you're not so desperate and needy for relationships, which will help with attracting a mate and you can easily get out toxic relationships aswell if youre nor so dependant on a SO for your mental well-being.

Women do not choose men according to morals or "goodness" though. I know plenty of misogynists, wife beaters and even gang bangers having hordes of women. Cut it out with this just world fallacy bullshit. It's almost like believing in Santa Clause but for dating. Women prioritise competency, excitement and ability to perform masculinity over "moral goodness". Hell a good man without an edge is derided as "Nice guys" or non sexual entities by many normal women.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 05:47 AM

Preselection. Every man in a relationship knows that once you're in a relationship, it becomes easier to attract more women of quality if that relationship ends up being a dud. Men gain value with relationships, women lose value with every relationship. But this is to a certain point though. Once guys start having too many relationships, women do register that theres something off about you.

Basically, this. Most women subconsciously or not understand that the current status quo benefits them even if it comes with drawbacks, and it hurts men in their lives. Women are self interested and have a huge in group bias and disgust complex for unattractive or low status men. Men shouldn't expect much sympathy from them. Men should just continue what they're doing, which is to cultivate a brotherhood, decenter women from their lives, and learn how to be content and single. Women are not goin…

Telling men to shut up and repress their legitimate feelings when dating objectively sucks for them is a great way of perpetuating toxic masculinity. There's far more women who are using SSRIs and have admitted they have a mental health issue than men. Yet because they aren't trapped by gender roles by the opposite sex that tells them they're worthless if they aren't high competent emotional stoics, they don't get as penalised as men who are still expected to fullfil many parts of traditional masculinity by modern women.

It's also especially true that an attractive girl can become pump and dump/only hook up material as a guy finds out more about their personality and character. Once you've worked in a pink collar industry like Social Work, yeah, you start to realise many womens uncanny ability to make themselves the perfect victim in every situation, even if the facts aren't there. I don't even bother debating women here, if you've actually had female colleagues or friends and took a peak into their personal lives, you tend to take not much stock to what they say about their partners or their role in some relationship drama after a certain point. Self awareness is very…

Exactly. Most men do it. It isn't just the ebil men who broke some of these PPD girls hearts. Narrow Masculinity is a prison that women love to trap men by, whilst pretending otherwise. I bet we do it to wonen to a certain extent, although their roles have widened compared to men.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/24 03:58 AM
2

But it's a fact that most men are trapped in their gender roles in relationships. So many men have their own internal lives that their partners will never know about because that aspect of themselves might not be attractive. Men put on a face and play their role for women, because women keep incentivising these kinds of behaviour whilst punishing men who diverge too much from the masculine script. When a preference is so widespread, you can't expect men to not take a hint and hide parts of thems…

As someone who has severe anxiety and PTSD, I feel you bro. The last time I had a gf, I've had to hide the fact that I was broken inside which entailed some facademaxxing. Masculinity becomes very narrow when you're trying to appeal to women. Any divergence from the ideal, such as suffering from anxiety or autism is an irreconcilable ick to most women. Im glad I had relationship experience even if I was faking it a little. I am getting better, but it would make me immensely sad if I had to wait …

There's a nuance. You don't want to retreat into a fake facade mindset when dating, but you also don't want to be truly authentic for most people until youre deeper into the relationship. It's 50-50.

Everyone lies. Do women feel bad when they wear makeup, use shapewear or do things like act highly sexual and high libido during the first phase of the relationship then settle in a lower sexual frequency as a normal? Why do you guys pretend theres not a level of deception and window dressing in dating? I mean ofcourse you don't want to lie too much or go full fake mode, but most people would be struggling to find someone e if they brought their unbridled authentic self to a date. There is a lev…

You're rizzing up your personality during the exciting new phase of a relationship or dating, putting on a good first impression. You know....Amping up the charisma that won't be sustainable once the relationship is no longer in the honeymoon phase. Hence why I said "partial" facade. Going full fake mode is never going to work though. You need let some authenticity filter through. I guess, just like makeup, you don't want to be too fake. It's just a fact that women find a narrower spectrum of male personality archetypes appealing than what exists in men, or what men find attractive in a diversity of female archetypes. Men will always be motivated to fake it till they make it. Men's personalities are just far more variable than what women will appreciate. For example, there are millions of men who are switches or even submissive yet they outnumber dominant women by quite a margin that now many sex clubs are refusing to allow sub …

They are trying, but even lower class women would rather date a middle class man who is older than date a working class man of the same age cohort. Working class women don't have the rate of sexlessness and childlessness of working class men.

Im for female empowerment. I have several female doctors in my family. But I can understand why men on the lower rungs of society are turning reactionary when even in the most egalitarian societies, mens value is still tied to how much they outearn the average woman. When one side has liberation whilst tge other side feels like their gender roles is reinforced if they desire relationships whilst for various reasons, its harder for them to fulfill them, it's understandable that there is conflict.

As the articles says, more of these women are just waiting their turn for a higher status man. It's working class men who end up becoming perpetual bachelours and childless at a much higher rate than any other demographic, including working class women.

Womens devotion to gendered expectations for men is to blame more so than malicious misandry. Even progressive women have outdated beliefs about what men should be.
