Your fwb should also be sticking up for you if these are personal attacks. If she doesn’t, remove yourself from the situation and go no contact with your fwb. She will get the message that you are sick of the shit her friend gives you. Also, if it bothers you, stop putting yourself in situations where this friend is present. I speak from experience with a similar situation that didn’t arise until I became official with the girl.

When you plan it out, a date should have a beginning, middle, and end. When you try to drag the date on, it makes the date seem unnatural and it makes you seem clingy and as having too much free time. If it doesn’t end at your place with her, then you bid farewell at the venue. Always leave her wanting more.

Some people get jealous when they find out their partner has been with more people than them and some literally do not care. For me, the red flag that comes out of a high count is when she has cheated on a past boyfriend. That’s an automatic no go for me in a LTR. I would say that in general it shows a lack of self control because for 90% of women all they need to do to get laid is show up. For men, they need to have value and have good game. That’s why women with high counts are viewed negative…

You sent a woman you barely knew a shirtless pic, probably with an embarrassing caption. The shirtless pic screams ‘give me attention’ from YOUR end. Also, Her ignoring it was the best case scenario for you. She could’ve screen shotted it and sent it to work colleagues. What would that have done for your career at this place? When you’re at work, work. I assume you’re in your 20’s. Put yourself in a position to be making 6 figures by the time you’re 30. why even put yourself in a position to get…

After you commit, “libido” goes down for her because her competition anxiety is no longer there. This also works into the honeymoon phase in a relationship. You need to give her a reason to want you. Getting in a good gym routine would be an excellent start. But I think you’re hamstering too much here. If she has sex with you when you initiate, what’s the problem?

I am of the mindset that as a man relationships require the sacrifice of being able to sleep around. You just have to decide if the woman you have is a good one and worth that sacrifice. if you believe you can do better or want to hook up with other women you should. But I will add the caveat that the grass sometimes seems greener.

If you had a date and time set to meet, the only message you should’ve sent was the morning of “see you at <X Time>. That message you sent was creepy and thirsty especially after she called you out once already for being that way. If you’re using Tinder you should also be talking to multiple women so that you’re not reliant on one for sexual validation if that’s what you’re after.

I’ll be more clear. When she is on vacation, let her initiate always. If she asks why you aren’t initiating, just say you’ve been busy with work/school/gym/family.

When you are wrong, or mess up and realize it, it’s ok to admit guilt or say you’re sorry and not look like an idiot: you say you’re sorry and you move on from it. In my opinion, you only enter her frame when you apologize for something and still let it bother you after she has forgiven you. I believe the whole “don’t say your sorry” thing applies to being unapologetic for the small things or things you don’t feel sorry for. Only apologize when you mean it and it will carry weight.

When a girl is on vacation, my advice is to let her reach out to you when she wants to talk. She is with her family/friends, so when she texts you first, it’s a great sign that she is thinking about you. Does she give you what you want when you’re here? If yes, don’t just ignore her when she’s away or why would she bother to text you when she’s back in 10 days?

Is sitting at home shuffling through women on an app really better? When you approach in public, you are in theory out somewhere doing something you want to do or at least are somewhere you want to be. Bottom line is that if you want to close off of Tinder you’re going to have to meet her at some point to give her validation. You can’t have sex with a Snapchat

I think your friend doesn’t have the confidence or doesn’t like dealing with the rejection that inevitably comes from day game and goes to Tinder instead. He’s making an excuse as to why he doesn’t want to put himself in a position to be rejected. This isn’t a knock on dating apps, but I would argue girls get more ‘validation’ from dating apps than a man who approaches them mid day. Which do you think happens more often? Other than that, one takes effort, the other takes a hand motion.

How to act is not butthurt and as if you have already moved on from her. Put her stuff in a box, wish her well when you see her and say your goodbyes. After this, unpack your stuff and cease contact with her. She will likely try and contact you at some point afterwards, but should you choose to respond is up to you. Just remember how devastated she’s making you feel now when making that decision.

“Just be yourself” & “You’re fine just the way you are”. Two of the biggest lies told in modern day. This is an example of a guy who unfortunately isn’t mentally ready to be in and deal with a LTR. But it still sucks to read and I hope he gets help and gets better. He’s the perfect candidate for TRP.

You broke frame with your previous two messages and came off as very passive aggressive. You should ignore her text to you and when you are ready, text her and make plans to see her and do something fun. Doesn’t have to be today. But some time this week. Act like she didn’t send it to you and ignore all mention of it unless you actually want to talk about your actions. Going forward, you need to understand women are like cats with attention. Biggest mistake people make in online dating is over texting before the first date. You will never live up to the text persona you create if you have any text game. Use texting for logistics until she’s firmly on the hook.

Why do so many people on this sub go straight to ending relationships over one single problem? Relationships are meant to be fun, but they also require compromise because no one is perfect. Do things you both can afford. If you consider her your LTR, you should take her out and treat her every once in a while, but it’s much more affordable to cook at home. She will also grow a new found appreciation for your generosity when you do take her out when it happens less. Edit: her guilting you to pay …

Most people have some form of social media. I’m not encouraging stalking them, but find them up on social media and look at things like high school/college graduation years.

No one is going to be perfect. Come up with your own red flags based on your own values. N count is as important as you make it. Some people don’t care about a woman’s past, some do. Past behavior is another subjective value. Just because someone behaved a certain way when they were 20 doesn’t mean they are like that when they are 25. I personally changed a shit ton throughout my life and still am. I’m 27. Come up with your own values because if you LTR and eventually marry someone, YOU will hav…

Shit you’re a senior in high school, you’re a first round draft pick. And you’re ahead of the game because you’re already in shape. Stay fit and find other hobbies. Go to college, work your ass off, and get a sick job. I’d also recommend meditation if you’re feeling down. Waking Up with Sam Harris is my go to. It’s very good for beginners. Once you move into college you’ll realize how insignificant of an event this was.

She broke up with you, fucked other guys (who she probably just couldn’t get to commit), now wants you back. Internalize that and tell me why you would even consider responding to her message? Never take an ex back, especially one who dumped you. If her breaking up with you crushed you for several months, you need to work on yourself. Read the sidebar

No one in the gym cares about how much you lift. Everyone was where you are at in some point of their life. My advice is don’t forget cardio. And start out light until you get form down. As long as you’re not an idiot, the only way you can injure yourself while lifting is through shit form from workouts like squats, deadlifts, etc.

It's not because you have a scarcity mentality in my opinion, it's because you are insecure in the relationship. I go through it sometimes as well when my LTR goes on her occasional GNO, but you also have to realize that unrealistic to expect that you will be with your LTR every waking moment of every day. Other guys will talk to her and maybe even try to hit on her. It's not about being better and more attractive than every other guy out there. It's about having the self-confidence to believe t…

The next time you’re out and hitting on a woman after you approach her, take a second and look around. Life’s going on for every single person around you and no one gives a shit that you’re about to get laid or rejected. Then go back to the girl and continue your flirting after you realize that the only person who cares is yourself. It takes time and no one is completely immune to rejection, you just realize that it doesn’t really matter whether or not someone is into you.

If you’d like to keep her when she returns, text her. If you don’t, now is a good time to let her loose. Texting for logistics (like this sub preaches) works for the first couple of months, but eventually you’re going to have to have a conversation via text from time to time. So long as she fills your needs when you two are together who cares? My recommendation is to respond when she hits you up while on vacation, do not initiate yourself. Why would she respond to your ‘logistics’ text from you …

Almost the same as me with mine. My recommendation is to keep things interesting in the bedroom/try new stuff if she’s down for it. Give her a reason to initiate because at this point you’re both very comfortable/familiar with one another so changing things up every now and then will get her excited. IMO TRP really only works with plates, hence why dread game is a go to for a lot of people on here. My LTR knows she can be replaced, but I don’t feel the need to show/remind her every single time s…

You need to take every comment here with a liberal pinch of salt. Relationships go through a lusting phase which is what you were in when she couldn’t keep her hands off you. However you inevitably become familiar with one another and move past the lusting phase which where you truly get to know each other. Knowing nothing else I would say you need to give her a new reason to want to have sex with you ie - keep things interesting if you know what I mean. Other than that, how long have you two be…

Sorry to piggyback, but what is an example of a 'deflecting' response to "why are you ignoring me"? I usually don't even respond to that and just text back when I have something to say rather than continue on with meaningless conversation, but I would love a second opinion.

You know her better than anyone else, and I think that you and I are in similar stages with our LTR, but it's something I got through/over. Frankly, sex frequency is bound to drop in a LTR. Most relationships go through a lusting phase where you can't keep your hands off each other. However, when this phase comes to its inevitable close, sex frequency will drop. What are the circumstances behind when she is denying you? Has she complained about having a rough day before you see her? Is she sic…

I think that the whole 'text for logistics' cannot be completely applied literally if you want to keep or maintain a plate. While she's away, if she contacts you then sure, take your time to respond if you are busy, but if you straight up ignore her while she is away, you shouldn't expect for her to want to see you when she returns. I always took 'text for logistics' as 'only text when you have a reason to/something to say', and never try too hard over text. Having meaningless conversation ove…

Thank you for the response, I think that I may have been a little thin skinned in that moment, but I've just been taking it for the past few months and it's worn me down mentally having to deal with it. I like that response and may bring it out on D-Day, but honestly the next time she is objectively rude, I think I'm just going to straight up say "Why do you think it's ok to talk to me like that?". When you have a girl naked in bed, you tell her what to do or move her around yourself. If she doesn't want to do something, she will say no. Edit: I think the actual mindset will come with time. Have you read SGM a couple of times?

Wish I thought of that in the moment, that is perfect. It was just so off-putting and unexpected it almost felt like a shit test, but it's her friend. Only thing I could think to do was leave the situation, but I think the consensus I've seen is that I am well within my rights to defend myself, even if it may upset LTR. This is the thing I am most insecure about, but you're right. She has said that it takes a lot for her to get an orgasm, but she has also said that she doesn't care and that 'I have other ways of getting her there' so I guess I should just leave it at that even though I haven't brought it up since she mentioned it. I understood that some girls are different in terms of how much they need to get off, but I didn't realize the how much part could vary so much. But I will still absolutely finish r…

The problem with game is that like you inferred it's all theory. There is no single thing you can read that will trigger off something in your brain to make you good at it. The important part in approach is about how you think about yourself because that translates into how you carry yourself. Something I read that helped me out a lot is 'warming up' throughout a night. Yes, I believe early on she may have mentioned that it takes a lot for her to get there. So I will start to use what I have learned in SGM to see if things change. But either way, she has told me that she does not care so I guess I'm just reading too much into it. Thanks for your advice. I have definitely been neglecting early foreplay and I could definitely be better with it in the texting aspect.

I think that will come as I try to be more dominant as a person, but I will be more conscious of it and start incorporating that, thank you for the advice. So the last thing I had a question on is whether it's a big deal that I am really only able to get her off through oral and is it a big deal that I'm having trouble doing that with PIV?
/r/askTRP18/01/19 08:00 PM

Ok I will. I assume in that 30-40 minutes you mean making out/teasing/fingering/etc? And just one more question. I know I am able to get her off through oral, and I sometimes do that part before we do anything else. Is it a big deal that I am having difficulty accomplishing the same task through PIV?

> It gets confusing because half say you should ask what her schedule is like and the other half say you should ask her to join you on what you were already planning on doing. I guess to this all I can say is that it falls on what kind of person you are and what YOU think you should do/say. TRP helped me out a shit ton, but the thing I took most out of it is to be your own fucking man and that if you focus on yourself, so will others. Thanks for the advice and I think you're right, I overthink things a LOT. We don't usually see each other more than 3 times a week, but if we do, it's later at night and after I have taken care of my business, but I should probably be more mindful of exactly how much I see her. I have a fairly addictive personality and when I do something, I overdo it and that certainly applies to making myself better every day.

When I reflect on it, based on what your interpretation is, I think we are just really both into each other. Here's an example of what happened this week. I invited her over after work on Thursday. She was unable to come to my place due to some responsibilities she has, but immediately suggested that I should come over to her place. We try to split time at each others places so I don't mind going there. But this is also off the back of her wanting me to spend all weekend with her as well (agai…

It is always on you to make the move. Based off of what you said your last message was, I wouldn't expect a reply. But in the future, ALWAYS ask for their schedule before you ask them out and here's why. There are a shit ton of attention seeking people on Tinder who are only there to waste your time. Find a way to ask her what her weekend looks like. If she says she's free Saturday, you can make plans Saturday. If she then proceeds to come up with an excuse as to why she can't go out Saturday,…

Good luck. Remember that in life you are going to have differing opinions than other people - including those close to you. Just make sure that when you are ever in a debate, you educate yourself to form your opinions so you can compose yourself when you have to defend them. If you do that, you won't turn into a screeching moron who resorts to yelling to prove a point. I hope you follow up on this, I would love to hear about the outcome.

You're 18 years old and can make your own decisions. She's also just your Aunt, just tell her you're not going, you don't even have to bring your political view into it. If she brings politics into it, then you can just tell her your opinion on the matter and if she freaks out about things, the fault lies with her for bringing up politics to begin with.

13 year old girl broken home Have you tried actually connecting with her to ask if everything is okay? Maybe something is wrong. If she's your sister she's going to be in your life for the foreseeable future, so you should take a step forward and try to connect with her on some level even if she acts unreasonable at times. As a rule of thumb, you should never spend more than half of your monthly income on rent. So yes, you can afford it because you would also have to factor in every other facet of living including car insurance, food, gas, etc. I'll also tell you this - you're 20 and have your whole fucking life ahead of you just like me (I just turned 25). Let me tell you something else that I didn't see in this thread. It doesn't matter if her ex is getting married or her best friend. All women seriously hate it/get jealous when anyone they know in life gets married. As for everyone saying you're not 'Alpha', this doesn't make you any less of a 'man' for her asking this, I don't understand these responses. If she gave her number out, but doesn't want to hang out 1 on 1, it probably means she doesn't just want a 1 night fling because 'come to my city soon so we can hang out' is kind of like saying 'netflix & chill?' I'd advise you figure out something to do in your city during the day time so you can both hang out in a public setting, things aren't rapey, and if things go well you can always invite her out later that night/weekend.
