tl;dr JUST DO IT

Perfectionism is good for getting the best out of yourself to a point and that point is when it has to be so perfect that you never get anything done. So just try to think of that balance when you're expecting the best from yourself. For me personally, I had to fail really hard, to figure out how to actually do things successfully
/r/seduction17/02/15 06:30 AM
1

That's very true., The problem with perfectionism is it quickly turns into defeatism
/r/seduction15/02/15 09:40 PM

Well, tell me what's the worst thing that will happen if you try something and fail at it? Like what will happen to you, your life, releationships, etc??
/r/seduction15/02/15 08:07 PM

Approach her. When she's looking at you, etc.. that's the most signal you're gonna get from her. If you wait, maybe your boy will step up and actually ask her out, maybe he wont and both of you will miss out. All I'm saying is if you're interested in this girl, take your shot. You really can't worry about your friend having a crush, but not taking action. Please take action on this. step up to the plate
/r/seduction24/01/15 05:57 AM

Your first step to changing that would be initiating talking to them

I agree that it definately says something about Gatsby if that was his worst beta moments. the alpha moments are on a whole nother level
/r/seduction07/02/14 06:29 PM
2

As a guy who would have asked the same question a few years ago, think of it like this. Having sex doesn't make you automatically alpha. For some sure that's their goal, and if they achieve it they are a lot more alpha then they once were, but Gatsby was being totally controlled by this woman, wasn't thinking for himself and didn't have control over his own life. So at the time, he was pretty beta.

definately this post. my writing skills weren't great at the time either and I left out a bunch of detail from the night. But if beta bro Brad was a real dude, that would have been me. http://www.reddit.com/r/seduction/comments/1x64hp/gatsbys_most_beta_moment_ever_whats_yours/

wow this would be really cool to see kids doing this again, granted i don't hang around the mall much anymore these days, but it sounds like fun

you mean the hurdle of an intimate hug or the hurdle of realizing you are the only one that can make you happy?

If you can get a bid from a house, the girls will come to you. You'll no longer have to bring them to get in

last three words were spot on though

what were you doing before when you had more success and what type of girls were you getting then? are you still hanging around the same type of girls

I used to say the same thing to myself. and I got the same results. Then one day I started to say " Lucky_kelly, you're just telling yourself that because you don't have the cojones to talk to her." Stuff like that works for me, but i'll admit i don't go up and talk to them 100% of the time, just alot more than I used to. really if most people don't want to be bothered they'll usually have headphones in.

It's called dopamine and oxytocin. Those are the chemicals that make orgasms feel great. That's why some (not many anymore these days) people can stand being married to their spouses for over 50 years and Love them for so long. It's biologically natural to fall for someone you have sex with, you can try to change that feeling so you don't fall for them anymore if you want. But for your own happiness I wouldn't reccomend it
/r/seduction24/08/13 04:13 AM
1

alrighty then. if all else has failed, see if you can change your cultural upbringing. don't try to do something to get better with women. Just go up and touch some girl, wheteher it's a clerk and you're asking for an item, or someone on the street and you ask them for directions somewhere. Then, with completely opposite intentions, you'll have had a small success with women

Well she's made the first move by asking for your number. seriously, when women do that, it's huge (as in she's DEFINATELY interested in you). So take the pressure off yourself if you feel like escalating with her, because she probably wants you to (to a degree, atleast). So if you feel like kissing her, go in for the kiss, even if it's a random time. IF you're nervous, ask yourself how the girls you've made out with in the past made the move on you. BUT if you're not interested in a relationshi…

Is that been 6 months and haven't kissed a girl mean you've been in the field that long, or haven't kissed anyone in that long? As a 20 year old, lemme say that when you're in college and been there for a bit there are a lot more opportunities with women then you've ever had at 18. Just keep pushing along. MOST IMPORTANTLY You've studied game, got your wardrobe, drive a good vehicle etc.. Which are great external benefits. but in order to get the girl it depends on your inner values. Be at peace…

I like your Idea of Hugging in the first minute of conversation. It really does change the tone of things now that I think about it, but I always have trouble of going in for the hug. I know it's all in my head, but I just feel like I go about initiating hugging awkwardly.

It's post like these that really intrigue me onto seddit. It's not a "hey guys, I did this and you can too!" it's more of a "other side of the fence, getting hit on can be wierd, keep that in mind" Anyway, I want to ask your personal opinion, if someone approached you, in what way should they do it. Like what makes somebody stand out more than the other girls??

That's a good viewpoint. I have a feeling that OP will either go the route of just getting a mindset of just using women, or getting some lower level ladies and just giving up and just quit there tho. It is EXTREMELY difficult to have your first hook up with an attractive woman, but it's just as difficult as starting seduction techniques when you have no idea how to talk to a girl, but not impossible
/r/seduction02/05/13 05:54 PM
6

No. Don't just do it, You don't want to get into the mindset of sleeping with women, just cuz. you came in here to sleep with ATTRACTIVE women right?? Now you say you've gotten a few makeouts and bunch of numbers. did you get those before you were reading seduction?? if not, that's progress. I think that you still need to work on your INNER GAME. if you still have a feeling of "why does nobody want to be with me?" and saying you may have low self-esteem, then you probably do. But it's probably g…

http://i3.asn.im/Never-give-up-_t778.jpg Eh, AIU is kinda a circlejerk where people just tell each other they're good looking. Plus I feel that people in real life have a better sense of what I look like than my photogenic pictures. That may not be the case, but it's how I justify it to myself at least. it really is about you're mindset towards it. If you're commenting like "eh, AIU is a circlejerk" then you probably have made progress even in the smallest way, but since it's not what you've exp…

I think just about everyone cracks at temptation, it's just that a lot of people don't even see it as a temptation anymore, they just do it. but ya, you're totally right about people how that "religious" type acts

One time I told a super hot girl how gorgeous she looked that day. She said thank you and then I walked away. I was young. but I learned to overcome that. For me, I just started opening conversations with about any person I ran into during my day, and so now it's just natural to have conversations with people, and being outcome independent takes the pressure off when they're really good looking girls

it is a very good perspective to look at. And I PERSONALLY learned this when i went to "straight" night at the gay club in my college town a few months back, i think most people on here could benefit from something like this. but the hivemind will beg to differ. thanks for the post

Understand that the "Masters" of seduction, like the guys you watch in youtube videos, it took them like 10 years to get where they're at. Now all the positives you posted are great things, so do you feel better about your life in general because of those improvements? Good effort on trying to go out more, but if you don't want to be there, other people (girls more likely) can probably tell. What is something that you WANT to go out and do? Also with approach anxiety getting worse, can you give …

Ok i kinda skimmed through this so sorry it's not super in-depth, i'll try to give a better idea later. girl number one. Whatever you do tomorrow. Make sure you talk to her in person. I don't care what it's about, but you weren't planning on text-asking her to prom, so no reason to just text-convo her. as for girl number 2, here's how I'd approach. Hey Girl#2, I know you're not planning on going to prom this year, but it's senior year and I really hoped to take a gorgeous/beautiful/hott girl to …

that's how I went about it while I was with them, and in the end, that's why it happened. In all serious I probably didn't seem as cool as I felt, but you're right. I need to go in with the right attitude, and keep that attitude up afterwards
/r/seduction01/04/13 03:08 AM

I know that exactly hahaha. I guess my positive point from this was even a year ago I probably would have said my hellos and then kept walking. Wasn't even planning on going out with a reason for a field report, but you gotta capitalize on opportunities. I'm gonna hit them up next weekend without expecting much of response, but who cares? and while progress is being made, I'm still a bit of a bitch when it comes to some things lol but hey we all start somewhere.

I understand why they think that. They only see one side of this, the hook up side. When you really start looking at issues from both sides (in anything really!) like the self-improvement that most of us are here for, opinions and viewpoints really start to change (if not to the opposite end, to a better understanding)
