There is some serious hate lobbed at ‘horse girls’ that I’ll never understand. It’s a hobby just like any other. Men will flip out if you suggest limiting video games or sports games. For me, Paul Newman was the ultimate HVM - over 50 yrs with his wife, no cheating rumors (that I know of), hot, successful, AND started his own business where all the profits go to charity - I’m specifically familiar with the camp he and Redford started for sick children bc my friend’s brother went there before he passed from cancer and it was a very happy memory for their family.

Just wanna say I love your post. You are so lucky to have your grandpa still in your life. I’m jealous, I shed a tear remembering my own grandfather. He and my grandmother took care of me everyday as an infant then toddler while my parents worked. Like yours, he was a fan of roses. I’m currently going through the process of artificial insemination on my own, it’s actually fairly straightforward and if you don’t need IVF, it’s not so cost prohibitive. I figure I don’t need kids AND have to be responsible for babysitting an adult man. Also the Single Mothers by Choice community has been incredibly helpful and supportive.
