I commented on a post of a woman whose LVM bf basically became a hermit during Covid and hasn’t seen her for months. Because of his “depression and unspeakable trauma” he wasn’t communicating with her and she had to initiate their twice a week FaceTime calls. Some idiot gave her advice that he’s probably just trying to keep her safe so she should just stay. I suggested that this wasn’t good advice and this idiot doubled down saying “I see the world differently. People these days leave their partners too fast.” JFC. Why is it impulsive or rash to leave a BOYFRIEND who has treated you like crap for months? It’s not a girlfriends job to bear the brunt of their depression or unspeakable trauma. If it’s so bad, he shouldn’t be in a relationship. When that shit starts to wear in you it’s time to leave. I learned that the hard way.
