Many third world countries are athiestic or agnostic. Anyways, no one lies to me. I look at data and numbers. You had a bad experience, but it may not represent the whole picture.

Just look up divorce laws in countries that are supposedly third world countries. They dont have alimony. Its actually pretty easy to get out of marriages, so if the husband is abusive, she can quickly get out of it.

Actually, its oddly the opposite. These women are vastly not abused and are happy. Women in the US are actually 5 times more likely to be unhappy and depressed.

If the assets have both names on the title, then they split. Otherwise, the sole owner keeps it. I know this may appear unfair for a housewife, but overall, its what works.

We can talk about whats fair and whats not fair all day long. Its better to see what other countries are doing and adopt what works. What doesnt make sense on the surface doesnt mean its wrong.

This is wishful thinking especially when you look at the numbers. 80% of divorces are filed by women. This indicates the divorce laws are not balanced, and young men probably also hear it from older men who went through divorces. I think as more young men know about it, there will be an epic drought of marriages, which will hurt the whole society.

The way i see it. Whatever assets each person came into the marriage with, they should get to keep when they leave. This works in other countries. At the end of the day, we just need to go with what works and not what we think is the right way.

First of all, many countries that are not suffering from population decline do not have alimony. I get alimony would help women on the surface, but the data show its doing the opposite. Also, ive said even though there shouldnt be alimony, the government should have programs that provide shelters and food, as they likely already do. Im trying to remove incentives to divorce. If you have a better idea, lets hear it. I know the status quo is not working.

A husband and wife are supposed to work together to produce the best result. It depends on the strengths of each person. If he is good with money, then he should take the lead when it comes to money. If he sucks at taking cares of kids, then the wife should spend more time with the kids. This is why i said one should be able to divorce easily and the government should have programs, they likely already have, to provide shelter and prevent anyone from starving to death. Yea, cohabitation is also considered like marriage in many states in the US, which is messed up. Laws are supposed to help people, but bad laws can really hurt a society.

Good women should help push to change the divorce laws. Bad women are not punished for bad behaviors. The current laws are saving them, undeservingly. The current divorce laws only work if men can truly trust women. With so many bad women, many men are giving up on finding the good ones. The bad apples are messing things up for the good ones. Good women need to stand up against the bad ones.

It kindna depends. Husband and wife are supposed to work together for the best outcome, so if you marry someone who has a bad record with money for example, then maybe you should handle most of the money. If he sucks at taking care of kids, then maybe you should look after them more. If hes good with fixing the house, then let him lead there. Basically, see what each others strengths are and allow each other to lead where it makes sense.
