Those people are a small proportion of the population. Most people have their own children. Sperm and egg donors are often used by one of the parents in conjunction with their own eggs/sperm.

People don't want to raise other people's children. It doesn't matter if they are healthy. The people who did want to raise other people's children tended to die off because they put a lower priority on their own. As a result, humans are very self-centered in that regard.

Eliot Rodgers was one of the few men who is enough of a social cretin not to attract women even with looks and money.

Sir M. was talking about slim girls with big butts, not fat girls.

Intelligence alone is not very important to women, and it is more tied to resources than attractiveness.

What is basic decency and what makes you think "most men" don't treat women with it? Also, what makes you thik that men expect women to be 10s, let alone care if they are rich? Men as a group have never cared much about women's wealth other than not wanting her to be in heavy debt. Your claims are baseless. As for women not being as shallow, that is just not true. Women demand that men be a certain height, build, have a handsome face and be their preferred race (which is either theirs or white) …

Mental manipulation can work. Women are more attracted to sociopaths. Most women nowadays are not okay with dating average men, they are more demanding than men are. The occasions where women date ugly men either involve money or the women being similarly undesirable. They date abusive ones because the abusive ones are attractive, and many women would put up with abuse over dating a less attractive man or no one.

I absolutely agree that exo-wombs are the future and are a good thing. People will and already are questioning why women are still here. They are also doing that to men. In the end, neither gender will be necessary. If we do change, it will most likely be through slow natural evolution or rapid genetic engineering. It won't seem like a "phase-out", though, as there will be a continuity from both men and women to the new groups. No one is going to kill off either men or woman in the process of be…

The point is, we still need women reproductively more. A lot of new technologies would be necessary for a woman phaseout would be possible. Welfare is around 5 of state expenditure. Military is 17%. Old people is around 33-60%. Governments have done life-changing alterations with popular support. Most people don't want either men or women to dissappear.

I think you're confusing obese with obese or overweight.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 03:27 PM

Why would we get rid of women? Just because one gender isn't needed for reproduction doesn't mean anyone would want to get rid of it, other than a few bitter people. Even if it ends up being 80% of men, that 20% at the top, plus 100% of women, would vote against it. Men at the moment are reproductively less important. And yet, very few women advocate for male "phaseout".

Most people have ethnic preferences, and they're usually just whatever the person is. It is not a good or bad thing.

You can avoid a type of person without talking about that kind of person all the time. Most people have racial/gender preferences, but don't talk all the time about the ones they don't prefer.

Statistically, the higher women earn, the more their husbands make relative to their own incomes. Poorer women are more likely to date down. A lot of this is just from the way the male income distribution is wider. Obviously, looks matter more. Although I would be surprised if poorer men were better looking, as the opposite is true for women.

Yeah. Having certain political beliefs doesn't contradict having certain fetishes.

If you're 210 pounds of mostly-muscle at 5'11, you're either an intense weightlifter (not necessarily a bodybuilder, that implies profession) or a genetic freak of some sort. You're not representative of most populations. I should have clarified-BMI is useful for populations (if the population isn't "athletes"), though less useful for individuals.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/19 05:29 PM

People don't vary by that all that much. If you're not measuring a group of athletes or weightlifters, BMI is fairly good.

Men and women date assortatively by income, although women date up a little.

Bad genes can mean the difference between genius and vegetable. I suppose you could find parents who poison their children, but genes absolutely matter, and it's not like good genes make a child harder to raise.

Some people are more intelligent and have better impulse control than others. The natural skills that lead to some people making (and saving) more money also lead them to staying thinner and healthier. It's much more true of women, though. Poor men are only a little fatter than rich men.

The simpsons is one of the biggest offenders. Comic Book guy got married to an attractive manga fan who just walked into his shop and started dating him within one episode. Most of the main "father" characters (Homer, Kirk, Clancy, Dr. Hibbert) are with women who are better looking, or are at least thin. Even Moe was briefly with a hot midget.

OP is a false dichotomy. In women, income negatively correlates with obesity. Wealthier women are thinner, at the very least. Also, although education is overrated in terms of causal importance, it correlates with intelligence and work ethic, which are heritable. You want smart hardworking kids, right?

I know. My point is, soldiers > sanitation workers for equal pay, and doctors > hedge fund managers for equal pay. Obviously, someone from a much higher paying category > someone from a lower paying category.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/19 11:28 PM

They do, but for a given amount of money, there are still higher and lower status positions. People like soldiers more than care salesmen or sanitation workers.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/19 09:49 PM

Doctors could make as much as successful hedge fund managers, but they are considered more "respectable". But pro athletes and famous actors are more famous (and thus desirable) than medical professionals.

Most people will end up experiencing pains, failures and disappointments regardless. At least, they'll have those first experiences-seeing those movies, eating those foods, interacting with those friends, which are permanently stale to those of us who have experienced them already. The world isn't that bad. It will be worse if fertility in the west continues to collapse and a small number of young people have to take care of lots of elderly.

People to take care of you/remember you when you're old (if the children have children, then you have a broadening family even long after you're age-sterile), seeing someone like you experience the joys you did (let's be honest, everything gets boring after a while and there are only so many new experiences one person can have), not having your bloodline die out, so that the multi billion year march of your genes continues.

Less attractive women also have other characteristics and tend to hang around in different peer groups. It's not all that surprising that they cheat more.

It has a lot to do with people's career aspirations. It is harder to raise kids when you have a demanding job, and smarter people usually put it off until after their education.

Wealthy, smart men and women are both more likely to marry than the poor and simple. Still, they (especially smart women) are less likely to reproduce.

This is pretty much true. Biological factors, like men being larger and less risk-averse, are the primary reasons. MRAs who think that it is due to discrimination are simply wrong.

I don't know, look at comedians. Ralphie May (RIP), Gabriel Iglesias, Lisa Lampanelli. I think that fatness makes everything funnier.

He's not saying masculine fashion doesn't change. Rather, that the "masculine" aspect still remains a good thing. David Bowie and Khal Drogo are both tall, fit, wealthy men who have more masculine capital than they know what to do with.
