How to be happy when emotionally depleted/burnt out?Everyone's experiences are different and what people do and do not like is different. I urge you to examine how you speak to people and keep in mind that perhaps people have gone through things that cause them to be anxious about certain situations. I'm glad you are very confident, but everyone does not have to share your opinions. Not everyone has lived your life and has your experiences. Trying to gaslight someone into thinking what they are and are not comfortable is wrong does not help your … | /r/RedPillWomen | 11/02/26 04:26 PM
How to be happy when emotionally depleted/burnt out? That seems pretty presumptuous. I have read Laura Doyle. Many times. And I have relinquished control a lot in my relationship in a lot of ways. But having STRANGERS come into my home and mess with my personal belongings is a bit more than I take. I don't understand why that is so unbelievable. | /r/RedPillWomen | 11/02/26 03:15 PM
How to be happy when emotionally depleted/burnt out?I can still see this comment in my notifications and it makes me laugh out loud! I don’t understand why throwing some leftovers in a lunchbox is so triggering. | /r/RedPillWomen | 11/02/26 11:54 AM
How to be happy when emotionally depleted/burnt out? It’s funny you mentioned working out in the morning because that is something I’ve been wanting to do. I used to workout after work and that was the only time I could make myself do it (I’m not a morning person), but I just have not had the energy. So I figured if I just forced myself to do it in the mornings, then it would be out of the way. And I try to take my dog for a walk right when I get home or done with work if I’m working from home. | /r/RedPillWomen | 11/02/26 11:52 AM

How to be happy when emotionally depleted/burnt out?Oh. I guess deep down I just don’t like the idea of a stranger in our house. I understand they are supposed to be professionals, but the idea of someone in my personal space messing with things really freaks me out. | /r/RedPillWomen | 11/02/26 11:44 AM
How to be happy when emotionally depleted/burnt out?I used to take medication for anxiety, but I got to the point where I didn't feel like it was doing anything after being on it for 10 years. I feel like things got a little better after I got off of hormonal birth control. | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/02/26 07:47 PM
How to be happy when emotionally depleted/burnt out?He does have a higher paying job. He makes almost 3 times what I do and I am the second highest person in my department. He has offered to get someone to clean, but the more i thought about it, the more trying to manage if someone else comes in and actually cleans what they are supposed to is more work than just doing it myself. ETA: I don't understand the downvote. | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/02/26 06:38 PM
How to be happy when emotionally depleted/burnt out?I'm trying to be better about doing my hair and putting more effort into my outfits. Unfortunately a lot of my cute clothes don't currently fit as I have put on some weight. I also struggle with the thought of putting a ton of effort in because it feels selfish and conceited. But what's funny is that when I see someone else that has taken really good care of herself or is in a super cute outfit, I think "wow!" and not that they are conceited, so I don't know where the disconnect came from. | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/02/26 05:41 PM
How to be happy when emotionally depleted/burnt out?Sadly, sleep or potato on the couch. I kind of get paralyzed by all the things I feel like I need to do, that I end up not doing anything. I do take a horseback riding lesson each Saturday, but that's not something I can really do more often than that since I don't own the horse I ride. | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/02/26 05:38 PM
How to be happy when emotionally depleted/burnt out? What does GOFL mean? And I know I need to do more self care but I don't even know where to begin. Like I don't know what kind of things to try to see what makes me feel better. I just know that everything feels like a mess, so I feel like a mess. | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/02/26 05:04 PM
How to be happy when emotionally depleted/burnt out?The kicker is that I kind of know that, but I really don't know what recharges me. I feel like I've been in survival mode for so long, that my idea of self care is sitting on the couch like a potato but that doesn't make me feel better. I don't even know where to start with trying things. | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/02/26 05:02 PM
| – | Hi! Do men prefer hot or cute?I would search for it. That’s how I got my information and in my search, i noticed that men get really upset when someone asks the same question that multiple others have asked. | /r/RedPillWomen | 30/01/26 10:23 PM |
Hi! Do men prefer hot or cute?I went down this rabbit hole a while back and what I came out with was that cute is wholesome, endearing, and generally attractive. Hot is intensely physically attractive. So cute is more the girl a guy would want to marry and hot is the girl a guy would want to bang. HOWEVER, to the right guy, a girl is both cute and hot. My husband tells me I am cute and hot all the time. They go together. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be hotter. I keep seeing on social media these women that are docu… | /r/RedPillWomen | 30/01/26 01:14 PM
What I’ve Learned About “Self-care” in the first 3 Months of MarriageI know I'm a few days late to this post...BUT WOW! I feel like you are the "after" version of me talking to me. I do all of these things. I worry about what he wants to eat, if I worry about missing precious time with him if plans change, I think about what he thinks of my outfit more than what I think about it. | 7 | Capable husband, but doesn't do thingsHonestly, just doing it myself would be less stressful for me. The thought of having to arrange being home and having a stranger in my house doesn't make me feel better. I guess I'll just do that. | /r/RedPillWomen | 22/01/26 06:55 PM
Capable husband, but doesn't do thingsNot necessarily it doesn't impact him. I mean a deer hit his drivers door back before Christmas and broke the handle so it only opens from the inside and he hasn't got that fixed yet. Just opens his door by reaching across the passengers side and then walks around. He did order the parts the night I was at choir practice and asked him to start the dryer for me. | 11 | Capable husband, but doesn't do thingsThe problem is that he'll mention it! Saturday he said "I need to fix the dryer"... So why you no fix?!! | 1 | How do I flirt with my husband? The problem is I don’t remember what I did when we were dating. Today is our 11 year dating anniversary. I was hoping to get some actionable things to try out. | 6 | How do I flirt with my husband? It’s more of wanting to foster a more light flirty relationship. I mean we joke and are best friends, but I want to add a little more of that sexy feeling like back when we started dating, but life is so different now. | /r/RedPillWomen | 23/11/25 12:16 AM

How do I flirt with my husband?Maybe that’s the issue…I don’t feel sexy, even though he thinks I am and chases me around with it. I don’t feel feminine and confident. I feel frumpy and eh. | 5 | How to be softer when stuck in fight or flight?Thank you so much for such a thoughtful response. It gives me hope. I have hobbies I like to do but by the end of the day, I’m so worn out from surviving at work that I just can’t seem to muster up the energy to do anything except scroll. Like right now I’m crashing so hard I feel physically tingling in hand and almost feel numb, if that makes sense. | 5 | How to be softer when stuck in fight or flight?Thank you. I am married. And while I think he's in his masculine (never really thought about what that actually looks like), I do know he's amazing. He understands that I get overwhelmed and emotional. He sometimes can just look at me, see the struggle, and will ask if I need a little cry. He will just hold me while I let out my emotions and recognizes that some things are much more difficult for me than him. | /r/RedPillWomen | 12/09/25 06:03 PM

TTC and afraid of gaining weightPeople have lost the ability understand that others struggle with things that they don't struggle with. Just because something is easy for one, doesn't mean it's easy for everyone. Although I am a little shocked it's so controversial here. For a group that talk so much about looks, glow ups, and getting a man, I would think there would be more empathy here. | /r/RedPillWomen | 31/07/25 04:43 PM
TTC and afraid of gaining weightThank you for responding. I am trying to build healthy habits and focus on protein, water, and cutting out the junk (unless its a treat, but not treating myself everyday.) I'm trying to walk more and will be more successful when it's cooler. I can walk on my lunch break, but its so hot right now, I don't like having to come back to the office all sweaty. | 2 | TTC and afraid of gaining weightThank you for sharing. I too grew up in the early 2000s when Paris, Jessica Simpson, Britney, and Christina reigned supreme. I guess I somehow learned to value what comes from others, like what I can do for someone else and if I am pretty to look at. I know it's something I need to work on, but it's so hard when that was ingrained in you from childhood! | /r/RedPillWomen | 31/07/25 04:13 PM
I can’t keep up with his libidoNumber 1 is SO IMPORTANT!!! Everyone is different. And one thing to add is looking at any medications that can affect libido. I struggled with my libido until I got off my hormonal birth control and Lexapro. It severely suppressed it. Not saying to stop any medications, but it is a factor worth considering when it comes to the different drives and could help provide some clarity. | /r/RedPillWomen | 22/07/25 02:05 PM
What finally helped you step into your femininity? It's not a matter of what needs doing, but how its approached. I have so many tasks at work, so it's lists and planning and execution and stress, and then when i get home, its the same thing, but different tasks. It's almost militant. I can't slow down because so much needs doing, but at the same time, I don't know where to starts and feel like nothing gets done. I feel this way both at home and work. | /r/RedPillWomen | 22/07/25 12:47 PM
What finally helped you step into your femininity?Interesting. I feel so masculine. It helps at work, I guess but it’s so hard to switch when the work day is over. I’m in constant “work” mode and when I get home it just transfers to things that needs to be done around the house. | /r/RedPillWomen | 17/07/25 07:07 PM
What is wrong with reddit?Makes sense…schools tend to be more liberal and the more time someone spends in that environment, the more likely they are to adopt those viewpoints. | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/07/25 01:52 AM
What is wrong with reddit?I originally meant more of the “open to everyone” subs that are not built on a foundation of a liberal or conservative belief system. | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/07/25 10:19 AM
What is wrong with reddit?Well, yes. Obviously every individual sub is essentially that. The whole goal is to find your group of people. My point was that it fees like the rest of Reddit/every other subreddit vs us. The number of subs and people on the site as a whole is way more liberal. ETA: I feel like I could also argue that the number of people on this sub asking questions and trying to learn feels a little more collaborative than other subs. | /r/RedPillWomen | 08/07/25 11:41 AM
What is wrong with reddit?Yes, Reddit is essentially a liberal echo chamber that just reinforces their beliefs and fuels the fire of these people that are just looking for a place to validate their thoughts and emotions. | /r/RedPillWomen | 07/07/25 02:06 PM
I'm confused...I am right there with you. While my situation was not the same, after moving out and being on my own with my husband, I realize how dysfunctional my family is. I am currently working with a therapist to help getting over this, so what I am going to say is for my situation, but my hope is that some of it will resonate and help you... | 7 | I envy the women who married well and seem to have a good lifeEvery one's journey is different! I have to remind myself that when I get sad by seeing other people with kids and I'm struggling to get pregnant. Everyone has something they are envious about. Try to take that feeling as a sign of what you want and what to work towards in the future. 30s isn't end game...there is still time. | /r/RedPillWomen | 11/06/25 05:29 PM
Clothing/Fashion Advice: How to dress in the style I prefer while still being attractive to men?Are you looking to attract a lot of men or ones that like you for you? I think you should wear what makes you feel good because when you feel good, you'll be more confident and naturally attract attention. Inspo, you could check out Mrs Midwest from like 5+ years ago. She had a much more cottage core style back then. | /r/RedPillWomen | 11/06/25 03:38 PM
Pavlov with scent?I just wore what I liked and he said it smelled good. I think scents adjust to your body chemistry. I would say just go with what you like and a guy will learn to associate it with you. | 1 | Pavlov with scent?Which one did you choose? I purchased one specifically for my wedding day and haven't worn it much until recently. I think i might use that one. I tend to wear the same one i wore since high school. | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/05/25 01:55 PM
Pavlov with scent?Truth. My husband has a cologne that he doesn't wear that often as fragrance isn't really something he's into. It took forever to get him to get this one and I LOVE it when he wears it. It would work so hard on me...no pun intended! HAHA! | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/05/25 01:31 PM
Pavlov with scent?I was wondering if it was going to work on the wearer as well. I could see that being beneficial for both. Like if you wear it when you are doing sexy things, then when you wore it you would feel sexy. lol! Sounds like a win-win! | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/05/25 01:30 PM
Pavlov with scent? No way! I'm curious for more details! Did you do it just as I said? | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/05/25 01:00 PM

RP women, what are we doing to build our emotional discipline ?I personally think it's because people are uncomfortable feeling their emotions and then just react to "deal" with the discomfort. Emotions are messengers. They are trying to tell us something. So to build discipline, we must learn to sit with the emotion and see what it is trying to tell us. From there, we can choose how we would like to respond rather than just flying off the cuff. | /r/RedPillWomen | 12/05/25 03:58 PM

Understanding what submission really means and how to do it without resentmentMy suggestion would be to pray asking God to help you live in accordance with the standards He has set to help you both live in a way that glorifies Him and read His Word. I know that’s not the answer you would want…It’s not the one I would want either and I am guilty of not doing this as well. But He tells us that if we seek wisdom, He will provide it. | /r/RedPillWomen | 19/04/25 11:55 AM
Does anyone else find trusting him hard when it's for your benefit?Thank you for such thoughtful comment. I really appreciate it. Some of your points really hit home, like the guilt being something he would have to comfort me over instead of him enjoying my appreciation. I know I have a little low self-esteem and I really need to work on that. | /r/RedPillWomen | 25/03/25 11:39 AM
Does anyone else find trusting him hard when it's for your benefit?Again with you taking my comments out of context... I was referring to conflict in negotiating with the sales people as the person, not conflict with him. | /r/RedPillWomen | 24/03/25 05:11 PM
Does anyone else find trusting him hard when it's for your benefit? He is my husband, not my boyfriend. And the "cares about my happiness" part extends past an object. The context of my comment was in response to the comment above relating to having someone care about my happiness in general when I had to set that aside most of the time, not specific to a car. | /r/RedPillWomen | 24/03/25 04:58 PM
Does anyone else find trusting him hard when it's for your benefit?Thank you. He is and it is is very uncomfortable. It's weird to have someone care so much about my own happiness. He cares about it more than I do! | /r/RedPillWomen | 24/03/25 02:37 PM
Does anyone else find trusting him hard when it's for your benefit?I don't feel like it's a who's right kind of thing. He says whichever I want is fine. I'll just need to tell him. I avoid conflict, so he does all the negotiating. I know he just wants me to be happy. It's just hard to allow myself to put my happiness ahead of other things sometimes. | /r/RedPillWomen | 24/03/25 02:35 PM
Does anyone else find trusting him hard when it's for your benefit? That's pretty much how I feel. I come from a house where my dad was selfish and my mom was very independent. I don't feel like I deserve the nice things he wants me to have and it's a bit alarming to have someone want to give me such nice things. | /r/RedPillWomen | 24/03/25 02:31 PM
My fiance has lost someone very close, how can I be supportive? All of this! I have gone through this twice with my husband and just being a steady presence is the best thing you can do. He will process in his own time and in his own way. | /r/RedPillWomen | 24/03/25 12:27 PM
Not feeling feminine/womanly due to chest size? 😔I felt this too. First, I want to say that nobody notices if you wear a padded bra, unless they see you take it off like your boyfriend. Just hugging someone isn't going to be noticeable. And if they did, that says more about them than it does you. I would suggest just to shift your focus to other things that do make you feel feminine. Do you have long hair, a tiny waist, nice legs? Find other ways to shift the focus from smaller boobs. | 7 | does income and status really make a man attractive? When I met my now husband, he was a broke college student. He had just got out of the Army and was living in his Pops basement apartment. But his work ethic was like nothing I had ever seen before. He would study so hard and worked so hard on projects. We didn't go out on fancy dates. We would just make dinner, watch movies, and enjoy each other's company. I think it's more about the bigger picture. His work ethic was attractive. | 2 | How does one stop seeking external validation?Thank you so much for such a thoughtful and practical response. It's so appreciated. I feel like I've been told my whole life "who I am". For example, shopping with my mom and she would say "that looks like you" and I started to rely on her opinion of what I "was", so to speak. It eventually turned into "everyone knows better than I do" and I now I can spend hours "researching" things looking for the correct answer on things that are so entirely subjective. I just had a conversation with my husband this weekend about how he tells me how much he loves me, but I’m not good with words and I don’t know how to tell him how much I love him. So he told me that things that tell him are like my taking care of him, making his lunch, cleaning the house, cooking, making sure he has clean clothes, and BJs. ( 🤣 at the last one). | 2 | How to FEEL more feminine?I understand what you mean. I made cupcakes for my husband to take to work and just soaked up the compliments. I have researched Kibbe. I’m a soft dramatic. I feel like in theory it’s a very feminine type, but translating it to my style which is more natural is difficult. I don’t understand how to make it work with what’s in my closet. | /r/RedPillWomen | 07/03/25 01:54 AM
How to FEEL more feminine?Yeah, maybe that’s what it is. I feel like the outcast in my department. Another person kind of made me realize it may not be completely my job, that’s just where it is amplified. I am not a small person. I am tall and broad. While I have feminine curves, my size makes me feel very masculine. And even in more feminine clothing, it almost feels like a character. Like my mind and soul is one thing but my body doesn’t line up. I grew up a tomboy, so maybe my physical feeling just hasn’t caught up w… | /r/RedPillWomen | 07/03/25 01:01 AM
How to FEEL more feminine?I can relate a little bit. I’m not a small person. I’m tall and broad. While my shape is more feminine and curvy, my height and just large bones make me feel rather masculine. I am almost taller than my husband and my shoulders come above his slightly. It’s a weird feeling. I wish I was more petite. Thank you for the suggestions. I will try to be more intentional with my body. I do enjoy cooking, baking, and sewing and will try to do more of those things. | /r/RedPillWomen | 07/03/25 12:55 AM
How to FEEL more feminine?I do sew! I bought this fun fabric on our honeymoon with mojito glasses and pitchers of margaritas on it and I finally decided to turn it into a vintage 1940s apron! I'm so excited about it. I've looked at the color analysis stuff but It's so confusing. I've heard I'm a spring, but I feel like a summer. I have no idea what it really is. I love the idea of wearing more colors. I have a tone of them. I just get a little self conscious of drawing attention to myself, especially at work when everyon… | /r/RedPillWomen | 06/03/25 06:11 PM
How to FEEL more feminine?Wouldn't it be nice to have a thousand servants! Instead I feel more like Cinderella and think about how dirty the house is, the dog needs to go out, laundry has been sitting in the dryer for days... | /r/RedPillWomen | 06/03/25 05:40 PM

How to FEEL more feminine?I am working on the inner things as well. I've started with a new counselor that works mostly with women and I've started reprioritizing my health and fitness. Especially since we are TTC. I just was hoping to find some other things to kind of bookend the feeling and hopefully work it out...if that makes sense. For selfcare, I really enjoy reading and try to do that daily and walking my dog! I participate in choir at church and I take a horseback riding lesson on Saturdays. I can wear whatever I… | /r/RedPillWomen | 06/03/25 05:37 PM
How to FEEL more feminine?Thank you! Funny enough, I’ve really wonky worked under female managers, but they didn’t really embrace their femininity, especially my current one. And most of my coworkers (all my closest ones are female) don’t either. It’s actually kind of isolating and lonely. I’m always the one people come to because I’m a bit more welcoming than my manager. | /r/RedPillWomen | 06/03/25 05:23 PM
Weight loss fixed my marriage… don’t know how to feel?A lot of people have said similar things to what I would on why it happens. I think it’s a multitude of things. But I would add that, for whatever reason, it happens to me too. When I lose weight, my husband gets more loving. Is it bc I’m more attractive physically? Probably. Is it because I’m generally in a better mood and thus more pleasant to be around? Perhaps. Either way, I’m happy for the change bc if I’m happier with myself and feel better and I’m glad he see it too. It would so awful if … | /r/RedPillWomen | 05/03/25 11:09 AM
A Lady's InfluenceLove this! It's so interesting how different people will treat you when you act with class. I would love to know other ways that you act more lady like. I really try, but I get caught up so easily act in a way I wish I hadn't!. | /r/RedPillWomen | 03/03/25 12:37 PM
What are little things you do or say for your man to show him love?My husband loves that I make his lunches and sometimes put little notes in it. | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/02/25 03:10 AM
