Even if you earned more money she would still say those things

IMO it is worse to stay in a bad marriage. I did this and my kid ended up hating me. Her mother and I fought and argued so much, she eventually viewed me as the aggressor and an ogre

You're a better man than me, I wouldn't be able to stand this and would most likely do something very stupid

I took on this second job about 6 months ago and now I'm afraid I've fucked myself by doing so. I could end up mandated to work this much

Thing is I didn't even really ask for support, just told her I was having a bad day and that I needed a break. Her response? Fucking pussy

They are not entitled to it. The court system is weaponized against men

I want to let you know that her allowing your son to catch her in that position could be very damaging to him. When I was about 10 years old I discovered my mother in a similar situation which led to my parents divorce, it literally scarred and traumatized me for years. It is horrible that she allowed that to happen.

I woke up on my birthday, started getting ready for work. Came downstairs. My wife didn't acknowledge my birthday, my kids didn't acknowledge my birthday. No texts that morning from any of my friends or family either. Got to work. None of my coworkers acknowledged my birthday. Came back after lunch, still no birthday texts or anything. Then I got called into my boss, Angela's office. I'm thinking "oh great, how could this day get any worse?" I go in and sit down, she says "I just wanna wish you …

I don't think she's having an affair or anything because she is almost always home (which probably isn't helping the situation, we both WFH). I would be interested to know what she says about me though

We already have kids who are almost 18. If she were to get pregnant right now.....I cant even imagine having to start over

It is a living hell for about one week per month, I suppose outside of that it's somewhat normal, but my thing is that it takes me like a week to get over what I go through.

I agree. I don't think it should be something that is thrown out every time there is an argument or someone is unhappy.

Yeah she will never admit to being the problem in any way, no accountability. Its difficult. She either refuses to see the pattern with her behavior or is actually ignorant of it

Tolerance level for day to day life hits the nail on the head. Any time she has to do anything she becomes very irritated and angry. I'm talking about simple tasks like running an errand or dong house chores. Sex drive is still somewhat there, but we only get along about half of the month due to her hormonal problems

She's nearly 40, I think this is definitely it
