I can definitely see that as being valid as well, I think that it’s irresponsible to have relations with someone who you’re unaware if they’re actually legal or not but at the same time a minor who purposely leaves out their age should also partially responsible in at least some way, maybe not legally but morally.

Yes but falsely calling someone a pedophile in the men’s right subreddit over an opinion goes a little off the deep end. It’s ironic that it’s in the men’s rights subreddit as well. Calling someone a pedophile isn’t just a name, it’s a serious accusation that isn’t to be made lightly.

I made this post to draw attention to a user who made a baseless false accusation about me being a “pedophile” simply because I wouldn’t agree with their opinions.

You’re trying to compare a situation of an immature 13 year old being taken advantage of to a clearly more mature 14 year old who didn’t properly disclose their age and was otherwise a willing participant. He knew what he was doing and didn’t disclose his age on purpose because he didn’t feel it was necessary. Stop comparing two situations that are in no way similar.

If anyone isn’t aware of this ad I highly suggest you watch it and dislike the hell out of it because YouTube has been removing dislikes on it. Agreed, hindsight is 2020 but I think he’s equally at fault for not disclosing his age. If it weren’t for his age he would’ve been a willing participant. If she knew his age I’d like to think it wouldn’t have happened. In order to make sure girls disclose their age to men during encounters we have to make sure boys do as well. Because ya know, equality.

The only way to make it so that men can’t be held accountable for girls lying about or failing to disclose their age is by stopping boys from doing the same. No. Again you’re wrong. The literal NY post article from the screenshot says that he lied to her and said that he was 16 which is the legal age of consent in the UK. He only told her his true age of 14 after the encounter had already occurred. We can’t try to fight for men’s rights while also acting like hypocrites and refusing to acknowledge that things like this happen both ways.
