Why do some of y’all go for a second round after the first show?My first marriage lasted 7 years. The second 12 years. At least I'm going in the right direction. The woman I'm currently with doesn't care if we get married or not. So who knows. But even if she wanted to. Id wait at least 2 years before even getting to that point. My second divorce, while it went smoothly, left me not wanting to get married again. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/02/24 04:27 AM
Pros and cons of life after divorce?Sadly it's true. There are real people looking for a relationship online. My ex wife is one of them. I just never found anyone who was serious. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/02/24 08:46 PM
Pros and cons of life after divorce?Oh and we had a smooth divorce. We have three kids and the judge just went along with what we wanted. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/02/24 07:19 PM
Pros and cons of life after divorce?39m here. Separated in August of last year. It was a similar thing. After 12 years she decided she no longer wanted to be with me. I went on a few dates with someone I met online. Was a giant waste of time. A lot of people seem to rather take advantage of men than actually seek a relationship. I ended up giving up on dating and then started hanging out with some I've known for 23 years. Now we're dating and it's been great. Id suggest staying away from online dating. It is a giant waste of time … | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/02/24 07:19 PM
After divorce, did you take the time to go through your entire photo album and social media accounts to delete pictures of your ex?Nope. She's the mother of my children. I left the pics up and my gf doesn't care. | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/02/24 12:21 AM
How did her family/your in laws/friend circles behave before, during and after your divorceBefore. Everyone was friendly. A year before she left me I became a ghost to her family that lived with us. Her sister after the divorce told me she hopes I drown.... My ex left me. No abuse or cheating. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/02/24 11:09 PM
It's hard to understandThis was actually the correct answer. Before the divorce was finalized we talked about it. She had said something like if I had given her the space she needed, she would have come back. She just needed space. That's all a mute point. I was hurt too bad to come back. I never wanted to do the back and forth thing. So we went through with the divorce. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/02/24 04:19 PM
It's hard to understandThanks. In December I even reconnected with an old high school friend. Started dating. Things are going pretty good. I didn't realize how unhappy I was in the marriage until it was over. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/02/24 12:27 AM
It's hard to understandShe asked for nothing. No alamony or child support for any of our three kids. It worked out great as far as divorces could go with kids. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/02/24 11:41 AM
It's hard to understandUpdate. I'm divorced now. Never was another man. She just fell out of love and didn't want to be with me anymore. | /r/Divorce_Men | 31/01/24 07:05 PM
Dating post divorceOnline dating is a joke. I tried it after my ex left me. Went on a few dates but was being taken advantage of for my money so I gave up. Personally, I'd say get off online dating. Find a hobby and find people who are interested in the same hobbies. Worked for me. | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/01/24 01:34 PM
