Awesome! About 6 months ago a girl asked me out and after a few dates we were pretty much inseparable. I thought it was super attractive that she felt comfortable going for what she wanted and it turns out she's both a fantastic person and a great fit for me. Best of luck. :)

I think a lot of people in this community tend to get so caught up in the thrill of the chase and the validation of attractive women that they lose sight of the big picture. Think about what you are taking from these people by seducing this girl. You get to bang her a few times, in return she risks her married life including her marriage, her husband's life, perhaps her children's lives... anybody else who finds out about it won't see her or her husband the same. And even if nobody finds out, no…

No, it's really not, and certainly not at $16 per meal. :/ if you're going to be lazy, be smart about it.

First, "everyone knows" is a useless argument. No, that's just your personal unsupported perception and you are projecting. Second, if you can't have fun at a club without getting laid, then you won't have a lot of success getting laid at a club.

You probably don't want to catch a girl who falls from 10 feet up. You can spot her though.
/r/seduction15/07/14 07:03 PM

Do NOT lead her on. This attitude of "anything for sex" is exactly why people think of pickup as dishonest. Be a fucking adult and be honest. She is an adult too; she can make her own decisions.

I have sort of a similar dilemma, where I will fumble with words sometimes in everyday conversation. I think I have narrowed it down to confidence and nervousness (what we would call inner game). When I have social momentum and have been talking to people all day I am a rockstar, I will clearly say what's on my mind and not give a fuck if it's not perfect or grammatically incorrect, etc, because I'm the shit and I don't get caught up in little details. However if I just rolled out of bed or have…

Winning implies a contest, and there is only a contest if you feel a need to be better than her. The only true way to "win" is if there is no longer a contest in your head.

Conceptually, yes, that would defeat the purpose of free will and you are letting them play god. However as I'm sure you're aware, that is not quiiite the level we're at. ;) The core of pickup is really not about women or other people, it's about the self--shaping yourself into an attractive, strong person. From there you learn situational awareness and the basics of seduction--attraction, comfort, etc. There are little tips and tricks and what to expect, but this stuff is far from a panty dropp…

May I ask why you subscribe to r/sed? I'm glad you offered your opinion and I think it is a pretty realistic standpoint, although it depicts a misrepresentation of the subreddit; the truth is a lot more complicated and unfortunately it is not immediately apparent. I delved into the seduction community very cautiously and deliberately. Basically I did not like the language and mentality that I saw, but obviously I liked the content. So I figured I would internalize what I could use while discardi…

Great post frogma. You touched on a big reason that I've always taken seduction material with a big grain of salt. Sure you can be good with women, but what is your end goal here? In some way, shape or form it's probably happiness, and a bunch of hookups won't necessarily bring you a solid foundation of that stuff.

It sounds like this will have to be a learning experience for Tom. You can't help him if he can't help himself. He will hate you for quite awhile though.

As long as you are passionate about something in your life, it doesn't matter what it is. Just don't live a life that you yourself are bored with. You need to be able to light up when you talk about what you're up to.

I'll throw my compliment into the pile: very well done. Glad you made the journey, glad you didn't give in to temptation (given, most of us may not have felt right about it either) and glad you landed the girl. It's an amazing feeling to be confident enough to enjoy intimacy with someone and being able to let them go on with their life without getting all needy. Congrats dude.

I disagree. Most of the people who I hear these formalities from are random store clerks, etc. They are just going through the routine of typical droll. Answering atypically and/or energetically can break them out of that and pique their interest. I made a habit of genuinely being concerned about how they're doing as well. When you ask how they are, and they say "i'm good," I'll follow with "oh, cool. so how are you REALLY doing?" which can transition into a conversation. Then again I dislike ro…

You are getting caught up on my wording and ignoring the underlying premise of making the girl comfortable, which is not manipulative. A freezeout is basically making the girl sleep with you out of desperation for your attention. Anyway this has gone far enough. Do as you please, I'd prefer to have sex with someone who was comfortable with the idea than someone who did it out of insecurity.

I really like this. I love getting into people's heads and understanding them. One is textbook manipulation, the other is providing comfort. Yes, you can argue that philosophically any interaction in which you have a motive is manipulation; that isn't much of a grounded argument and doesn't take away from my point.

You can change your perspective to validate it on any level that you wish, but that doesn't change the fact that you are less likely to get a repeat with a girl who you had sex with but felt uncomfortable about it than one with whom you took a few minutes to help her feel like she decided to have sex with you because she wanted to. Freezeouts are rooted in outcome dependence and negativity. They work to an extent, but are manipulative. You can find a million different ways to validate manipulati…

Relax--realize that in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter, and when you see her next stop and say hi. Next time remember that what you say doesn't matter so much as how you say it. Even a "hi, how's it going" works just fine as an opener. The bigger problem here is actually not your awkward interaction, it is that you are dwelling. Don't get caught up in the negatives. I've tried to find a way you can do something like this without being creepy. The answer I've found is that unless you get their attention in some overt way (for me that's either playing loud music or hooning/trying to "race" them, yeah I'm "that guy", suck it), it's usually creepy. I'm usally good at making them laugh when I have their attention just by being shameless, but it's astonishing how many people are just oblivious to anyone beside them (or pretend to be).

I rode in a accessported GTR awhile ago and was actually unimpressed with the launch (too aggressive and spun too much) but damn did it pull like a freight train when it hooked up. Pretty nuts if you're driving that thing at 20, OP. I won't ask where you got it from, just don't wrap it around a tree, enjoy your $5k brake jobs and don't void your warranty. :p

Stop worrying about what the right thing to say or do is and just go out and interact. When you are comfortable doing that, then try working in some seduction slowly. You will be able to exude exactly zero attractive traits around women if you aren't comfortable in your own skin talking to them. So, baby steps.
/r/seduction02/04/12 09:00 PM

I think that's a great way to think of it; however, realistically, people tend to establish behavioral patterns, and if she has established a pattern of unfaithfulness, she is more likely to consider it an option in the future. Like you say, the world is not black and white, but correlations still exist, and you are not the only guy out there who can game a hot girl.

Definitely, but it also shows he was pretty outcome independent, relaxed, and quick to think. This move is just a big "fuck you" and probably isn't going to get you anywhere with the girls due to that, but it does make a great story.

I'm just saying if you're laughing and she keeps assuming it's at her, she probably has some issues and she doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun. Not sure why you assumed I was trying to oppose your statement beyond that (but it's rather ironic, given the topic of negative assumptions :p).

Relevant username, haha. I also struggle with stifling some eye rolling a lot of the time hearing tired, unoriginal BS. But it's always best if you just go with it, or if it's from a girl you can tease her about it.

She might? Tell her the truth, you're just a positive person, and then if she can't handle it then move on to someone who can. It's really frustrating hanging out with people who freak out when you laugh. How the hell are they ever going to be fun?

She has her hand on your leg and you don't even try for the sex? Sounds like you are getting too caught up in your head about what she wants and she wants you to go for it. She is being submissive, you will get nowhere if you are super hesitant to be dominant.

Number one rule is not to lead her on. Be honest. I would probably say "for now, a good time. We'll see where it goes from there." But I would mean it. If you just want to hook up, don't give her false hope.

Awesome. I think a lot of tall girls are extra receptive since they intimidate a lot of guys. Ive seen a smokin' girl by herself at the bar getting no love because she was 6'1 with heels. Approached and we hit it off. Couldn't believe nobody was talking to her because she was tall.

I kind of do this naturally whenever my friends are macking on a girl I'm not into and I've had a few. Just be happy and talk him up. "You're lucky to have met this guy, he's awesome" makes you both look good to not only the girl, but others who overhear.

Such a good lesson! I have been dealing with a girl who gives off really strange signals too. First "date" started out well but then kind of delved into total mediocrity and awkwardness. I almost didn't bother to follow up on it, but I said "what the hell" and asked her out again. Turns out she was into it. Don't feel bad dude. I was (still am sometimes) in a similar situation--I'm a good looking dude but I lack the nerve to be suave right off the bat (sober at least). Plenty of guys share the same plight. If you don't want to run around in a tutu and get the anxiety out of the way at once, something that helps me is whenever I go to a restaurant or a store I will always chat up the cashier/waitress. It should be noted that being assertive and dominant ARE traits of being alpha, but really they are surface indicators more than anything. When you are in state and don't give a fuck, you will be assertive and dominant naturally. If you just try to forcefully exude those traits you are not alpha, you are insecure.

/r/seduction22/03/12 10:06 PM

This is exactly what you need to be doing. The more unhappy, needy/depedent and emotionally unstable you are, the less she will be attracted to you. I have been there myself, trying to be honest, confessing feelings etc, and it never EVER worked out in my favor. It's not even their fault. They can't help that they're turned off by that behavior. Bottom line, if you want the girl back, you will have to realize that you don't need her. So leave her alone, go out and have fun without her.
/r/seduction22/03/12 07:50 PM

There are no things to figure out. Hands-down the biggest effect having red hair is going to have on your game is the fact that you will be worrying about it. So, stop worrying about it and own that shit. Someone makes a comment about it, either ignore them because you are above dumb shit, or come back quick with "you WISH your hair was this awesome" and immediately go about your business. The only thing you have to be insecure about is your insecurity. So drop it, go out and have fun.

I fucking love reading this shit. I think a lot of AFCs have this clever guy just waiting to be let out, and as soon as they realize how easy it is to open, be bold and get in state, they can just work their natural humor and personality in effortlessly for great results. That was a huge revelation for me.

Okay, here's the deal. No, you shouldn't be offended, for a few reasons. You should not be giving an emotional response. Don't get all pissed off, that won't solve anything for anyone. Keep your frame as a strong man and demonstrate it. By being offended you are showing a very strange insecurity, especially after they were trying to compliment you. Negging is not really a technique that should be used to batter down any given girl and make her feel super insecure therefore she should sleep with you. It should really be used on girls who are a little full of themselves to bring them down to earth in a light hearted way.

I couldn't tell if she flirted with me because she noticed I was checking her out all night or if she was actually interested. It doesn't matter. What does matter is that you flirt back and are outcome independent. It sounds like you are dwelling on the negatives of the situation without turning that into a constructive sentiment. Don't get stuck in the negatives. Move forward and make progress.

Snap out of it. Looks do NOT matter in the way that you think they do, and you are psyching yourself down by telling yourself that this is a limiting inadequacy. I will tell you what matters in terms of looks: hit the gym. This will help mainly with your confidence more than anything. dress well and rock some style. Easy way to immediately make a huge difference. But if you are a confident, fun guy with game, looks really won't matter much. Would you rather date a boring, vapid, self-absorbed mo…

Checking comment history would quickly defuse the troll theory. This is a pretty slimy move, and it's not like anyone's butting into his business; he happily volunteered the information of his own volition, as if he thought it was normal or even commendable for a guy into seduction to have "something on the side." I was communicating that it is not, and that type of slimy behavior is not at all what the seduction community is trying to encourage. Furthermore, not only is he seriously lacking int…

Seduction is about becoming a better person and adding value to others' lives. It's a free fucking country but that doesn't mean it's cool to start dating your girlfriend's best friend behind her back. I shouldn't have to point out why that is not a constructive behavior.

Well said. Nothing worse than ALL of your plans flaking on you; it's easy to get sucked into victim mode when a bunch of shit like that happens all at once. But this is definitely the way to handle it.

Just an idiom. I always just imagined it as a huge shameless grin.

If you're rocking an awkward fake smile, it's creepy. You've got to smile with your whole face. Also, don't have a shit-eating grin on your face at all times. If you're idle, small smile. If you're talking to someone, bigger smile.

Take a step back for a second and actually think about your reaction. Here is someone who is trying to work up the courage to talk to an attractive female, psyching himself up to it by reminding himself that beyond looks the girl could be completely vapid and lucky to talk to him. Then you come in saying THAT'S NOT NECESSARILY TRUE, YOU'RE AN IDIOT. Really? This guy isn't allowed to think that this girl may not be such a huge catch for just this split second before he approaches her? You would r…

Then leave? Because apparently all you're doing here is missing the point because of a boneheaded idealism and starting shit.

You don't fucking get it. It doesn't matter what she actually is, it just matters what you can tell yourself to calm your nerves before you approach. This "opinion" that you refer to a means to an end, nothing more. The fact that you are worrying of factual accuracy of a completely inconsequential opinion that is rendered moot the first time you actually talk to the girl shows that you have learned nothing.

Great post. I can definitely identify with this as well. It should be noted though that there is a spectrum here: the people pleasers to the DGAF type. If you are going for super alpha club/bar guy confidence, then by all means squash the community sentiments entirely and go straight DGAF. But to be more of whom I would like to be, I try and maintain somewhat of a middle ground where I can be confident but considerate in a healthy dose of moderation. Again, great post and best of luck OP.

Yep. GGGs are a timid species; they don't want to be rude or occupy you conversationally if you are not interested, and they are not sure if you are if you don't give them any obvious signs, so even if you are talking to them they have a little doubt in the back of their minds that makes them nervous. If you approach, this gives them a pretext of your interest to go off of.

Terrible? It was pretty fucking funny to me. They were kind of giving each other shit and being waaaaay out of their element at the same time. Yeah they came off as creepy to a few random girls, who cares? It was funny as hell.

Holy shit, high fuckin' five. I was in love with some girl for all of high school, and never actually got her. I can only imagine that being 9+ years and finally boning her.

YES. I always try and be as honest and transparent as I can be. If you cut out the dishonesty with yourself and with others (really dishonesty is mainly sprouted from insecurity) and are forthright about things you project an aire of confidence and down-to-earth..ness. It may not drive the ladies crazy in the same way that mystery and game will, but you will appear as a strong-willed man who is ultimately comfortable with himself, and the ones who are drawn to you will be drawn to YOU and not th…

Congratulations, man. Seddit gets kind of a bad rap for glorifying womanizing by people who are quick to judge, but I think there are a lot of guys like you around--a lot more than actually post. I am actually in a similar situation, and it's pretty awesome--I met some cute girl at a kiosk at a job fair and made enough of an impression that she looked me up on linkedin later, despite having zero jobs for me, then we took it from there. It really pays on a multitude of levels to just not give a f…

Simple. The better you are with the english language, the more value you project. Do not be artificially verbose, but when you can be articulate and put words to good use in conversation, well that demonstrates intelligence and is an attractive trait to most women. As a 180lb 6' fittiter, I still enjoyed the shit out of your FR. Keep it up.

First, relax. Stop thinking about awkwardness. Be comfortable. There are almost infinite things you can talk about, you are just so caught up in feeling antisocial that you can't think of any of them. Remember, this is another person, probably a lot like you in many ways. Second, easy suggestions. "What are you up to this weekend?" "What happened last weekend?" Read the news (reddit works too) to keep yourself up on current events, so you can mention them and your opinions on them. I personally …

This is definitely true. Past a certain point, the more good-looking/fit you are, the more you narrow your base of interested girls, but the interested ones get more interested. Most of what being in shape helps out though is mentality/inner game. I feel better, more accomplished, more active, more outgoing and more confident when I frequent the gym, and that alone is reason enough to do so.

So true. Most of my close friends are nobody to meet girls through, or even other people through. For the most part I tend to be close friends with introverts. This leads to a dilemma, because I do not want to change who I am naturally or who/what I value just to get girls. I just wish I had some active friends to go out, have fun and meet people with. It becomes a bit tough when you are out of school and working.

Packs of girls tend to stay together, you do not want to try and single one out after her friend talks down to you. Moreover, I would advise against getting back at her in any way. Remember, you are above conflict. You do not stoop to the level of negativity. Don't forget that even if a girl is annoyed that their friend is being a bitch, if you intentionally piss her friend off it reflects poorly on you.

It does not sound like you are looking at this the right way--do not seek to take her virginity, instead, let her give it to you if she wishes. Whatever you do, bear in mind that if you are her first, it will likely be an experience that will stick with her forever. Do not manipulate her or pressure her into anything; no false hopes or promises. Basically, do not change who you are around her just to get into her pants. If it comes down to it, make it special, and make it about her.
