Appreciate that. You're right. I'll correct that behavior. I never tell he in depth shit, just in this case I was tired after a long day at work and had my ear talked off so I just used "I'm tired" as a reason to hang up and not small talk with her about her night.

Agreed. So now I'm gonna ghost her for the day. Busy at work. How do I handle this a day from now. Do I reach out as if nothing happened? Do I wait for her to contact me? What do I say to her when she asks why I've been NC?

I tried to meet up with her beforehand when I left work, since she was in the area, assuming shed wrap up that function around the same time. She said she wanted to hang out more and invited me to come. I went home instead. We spoke after her event and bar thing with this guy when she called me.

I don't ask what she does every day, but she knows to let me know what she's been up to when we speak, and she definitely knows to tell me when/if she's going to hang out with other people or do something outside of her daily/work routine. I care if she hangs with other guys, she should not be doing so without me unless it's her gay best friend or a close mutual friend that I approve of, and even then she should be letting me know of these plans/ the only reason I'm not there would be if I'm bus…

At which point it's only a matter of time before she shows she cheated through behavior or trickle truth. If you can't trust your LTR you shouldn't be in an LTR. Remember, trust but verify.

Well that's obvious to me. I was hoping OP would get to that conclusion himself. You have to hand hold some of these guys...

Answer my question: why is she premeditating sleeping with this guy?

What kind of world do you live in that this would be ok for a gf to do? Why is she premeditating sleeping with him?

I've never brought it up, I just let her tell me about it herself. A second meeting would definitely be concerning. I'll stay attentive

She was dressed in work clothes. She changed out of them when we met up. Had a change of clothes in my car.

I've experienced similar things to this. Mate-guarding only makes them want to see another guy more or even creates attraction when there was none. I've learned girls are terrible at rejecting advances because they like the attention. I once told a gf of mine I didn't want her to see an ex-coworker that had the hots for her and tried to kiss her, and she texted him a few days later to make sure he was coming to a work meet for ex-employees. I never figured out how to confront her because that wo…

Girls can be naive, but they're not stupid. You've done right. When she asked you should've said something along the lines of "sure, when are we meeting him?" and gaged her reaction. She should've said something to him along the lines of "sure, my boyfriend and I can meet you on x day" and gaged his reaction. If she insists on going alone, red flag. If she's cool with you going, cool, go with her, or if you don't want it to happen at all say you're busy that day and you expect her not to go out …

I suppose it depends what field of work you're in. South Florida is a real closed off job market, and rent is crazy expensive.
/r/askTRP11/01/17 03:31 PM

Yeah, don't do Florida without a car. Also the job market sucks.

I'm confused, dude. What does school have to do with the gym? Also, what does it matter? Just ignore the accusations, is this dude straight bullying you at the gym?

Gym culture has a don't ask don't tell policy regarding steroids. Why did you call out a guy for using them if you plan to get on them yourself? Ignore the accusations or use agree and amplify. "Yeah, I'm on about a gram of test a day"

They were at a friends house. They were going to go to sleep there for a bit while they sobered up. In his fucked up state, he decided to drive home without her, he gets arrested. She stays stuck at said house.

Never too late for next, although I am attached. My intuition about her indicates that she does not want a romantic relationship with him anymore, in any sort of way. What I am bothered by is the fact that she can't let go of the friendship that because we've gotten quite serious ourselves she used an event like this as an excuse to contact him after months of not speaking, and that just doesn't sit right with me. I understand it was a mutual friend, he's a lawyer, she couldn't reach me, etc, bu…

She was drunk herself, they broke up over 6 months ago, and we've been dating almost since. What do you think my best course of action would be here if I don't cut things off because of this? She could tell that I was bothered by something as I dropped her off, but I went home to gather my thoughts before our thanksgiving dinner. I plan on showing up and being lively and enthusiastic with her family, but she's bound to ask me about why I behaved the way I did, which was mostly keep quiet and res…

She definitely panicked. I don't suspect any ulterior motives to her actions besides finding out the best course of action in that situation. I'm bothered by it because upon not being able to reach me, she went to him (or maybe it was before?). Albeit, you're right in that many would not disclose that information at all. What also bothers me is that they haven't spoken in a couple of months, ever since we started officially dating, but their relationship was one of four years and I see it as a t…

Why are you actively trying to LTR her. Let her LTR you. Step that shit up, save comfort tests for later. "You're gonna be hurting a lot more after I'm done with you ;)" Then say fuck it and turn off your phone for 14 hours.

No, only at work outings or at team-building exercises. There were a few nights at bars, but I was present and this was before I knew his intentions.

Why not? I'm cut and never have had a problem with it. My GF is against it, and although we probably won't be together long enough to have kids, I wonder what it would be like if we did.

Sometimes just a picture of a lively bar where I go grab a drink after work is enough. Other times, if I'm trying to be less subtle I find a group of friends and get a picture including other girls. Stuff like that, small things to make her mind wonder what I'm up to

You're about to get a slew of people telling you how she shouldn't be out drinking without you, or how that immediately means that's she's fucking someone else. My LTR goes out drinking with her friends on occasion, I don't exactly love that I'm not involved but oftentimes I'm invited but just busy at work or something. Again, I'd prefer for her not to go out without me, but what I do in these situations is simply send her off with a "have fun" text and then apply subtle dread through snapchat o…

I appreciate your response. These are solid outlooks on the situation. I started plating her just weeks after her breakup of a relationship of over four years. At first I expected this to happen and did not take her seriously and was fucking other girls on the side, as things progressed and I saw the effort she made to put that relationship behind and bring me to the forefront, I started to warm up to the idea of dating her exclusively. She's done many things in that department, introducing me t…

She most definitely felt guilty, she felt guilty about "meeting" him when she talked to me and she told her ex she felt guilty about fucking him when they did. I take it as if we were being compared while she still could get away with that and I came out the clear winner. she lied to me knowing that if she had told me the whole truth I would've straight up walked then and there. Now that I have confirmation i feel that the gut feeling I had at the time has been confirmed, and to never take my gu…

She is indeed young (23). Vetting included her sexual history/past cheating/relationship with her father. She checks out, but of course, she's no unicorn. should I just ignore this for now?

Agreed. I appreciate you taking the time to give me your opinion on this. For the most part I'm confident there hasn't been any infidelity on her part and that I play it correctly when it comes to keeping attraction high. The sex-god method has done wonders for me as well. It's the sprinkling of beta required in LTRs that fire off my insecurities as every time I employ some beta I assume the worst and/or that I've killed all attraction.

Through my vetting process I sought to answer all these questions. Her social circle is composed mostly of girls, her best friend being a gay man, and the rest of the guys non-sexual guy friends she's had for a long time. Mostly people she's known 5+ years. I've been personally introduced and flaunted to the circle and there's no one she regularly hangs with that Id be concerned about. She's been in two serious LTRs prior to me and to my understanding only slept with a few other guys between the…

Agreed. I'm upping the dread after the event, but primarily after the Twitter post. I'm not sure what it is in relation to but I can't imagine it being about anything other than her being in a relationship and not being able to have someone else - maybe not this guy, but someone else. Contextually what else could it possible be about, yknow? You're right that only someone completely aloof would disregard it. I appreciate the advice and will proceed accordingly. Also, she has no idea I read her T…
