Show me one society in human or even hominid history that says otherwise. Men and women are not the same by any means. They don't just want something different based on the norms of society. Women don't become the nurturers because men pushed them into the role nor do men become the providers because women push them into it. The roles certainly are capable of being switched with more stay at home dads than there ever were before, but I don't think this will ever become a majority.

This is a sad case, especially if the woman did intentionally get herself pregnant. Unfortunately someone had to support the child and the mother certainly wasn't doing it. Better a doctor than my tax dollars.

Male birth control would certainly make more sense than female birth control considering women only ovulate for a few days out of the month and men produce new sperm every day. Still doesn't protect against STD's, unfortunately.

If women are no longer victims they'd have nothing to shake their pitchforks and torches at, so they create victims by telling women they're victims of history and a society hellbent on repressing them. As much as I want there to be equality between men and women, I think this is one of those cases that kind of relies on the intentions of the "parents". Parenting, in my opinion, is strictly a verb. You have to be there doing it to get the title. A lot of guys will try to gain custody so they don't have to pay child support. Humans are apes so I guess this could be true if you compare people within this species, but humans and chimpanzees share closer to 98.5% - 99%. It would be closer to a 1% genetic difference, which can have a pretty big effect. It has nothing to do with the number of chromosomes.
