Fuck that noise then. I know I’ll have to eat some crow coming from being a departmenthead of a warship but damn.

I think our interpretation of going to the beach and their interpretation of going to the beach are two totally different things. I sail, fish, crab and (one day) spearfish. They layout soaking in the rays hoping to garner attention. We do. They don’t.

Took me a while, a very close call and observing my own parents (whom I love dearly) to make this decision. Wasn’t easy. But at the end of the day, I’m good. I have a niece.

Turkey does look amazing. I studied ancient history in college so Turkey was studied at great depths. I guess employment would be the next question. Also, the cost for housing there is have to explore.

Which parts of Mexico? I remember living in Guadalajara for a bit. Going out and all could be called a bit expensive. On such a limited budget. Where are you?
/r/MGTOW14/08/18 05:23 PM

That’s true. After 10 years would be questionable, however at that point stocks would have done well and other means of income. A year wouldn’t kill me, I wouldn’t think.

I’d also have to worry about getting employment if I need to get back to the states. Don’t know how fondly employers look at a person leaving the country for a year then trying to get back into a career commiserate with my current income.

I was in the same predicament. I suggest Supply 100%. SWOs routinely have awful careers...lots of pressure and stress - so much so they pay you a bonus to stay past 4 years. Honestly, I fell into Supply. It does set you up for other careers, however there is the same Navy BS. As a SWO, you’d do a Divo ride, shore duty, then two Department Head rides back to back. Lot of sea time. Just make sure you are on a deployed ship. Being in the yards sucks. Granted, yard periods follow every deployment, h…

Yeah. Wow. Olive Garden? Ew. With that being said, for the past 16 years (I’m 34), I have had a steady girlfriend for maybe...4 of those years. Add maybe a year and a half of bogus dates and dinner with friends. That leaves...10.5 years when I ate with no one! What?! Eat alone? In a restaurant? Yikes! It’s fine. Who the hell cares? TREEEEEEEAT YOURSELF! And go to a movie that has been out for two weeks on a weekend for the matinee showing...no one here. Perfect.

O here. I tell my guys (and gals) to stay the ever living fuck away from the local men and women. Seen too many good Sailors fall into that trap (I escaped it by the skin of my teeth). Currently helping a Seaman out right now getting through his harsh reality. You’re in the military. Life is the greatest. Do not get married while fulfilling your contract. Wait. I’ve seen this ad. It infuriates me how society has given its “ok” on women having children out of marriage.
/r/MGTOW21/07/18 12:17 PM

Jesus fuck. That was awful. “Lady friend” is effin harmless. It’s the verbal “nudge nudge” to your buddies that you were entertaining. Women do the same shit. My issue is I am attracted to strong women (get their hands dirty, adventures and all), but don’t have the patience for that post feminist crap. Yet, on the other hand, I am not attracted to stupid women (who are generally the submissive ones). Ridiculous.

Retire as an O-5 in the United States Navy. I’ve got 13 more years to go till retirement. After that? Buy a sailboat and just cruise the islands.

Oh yes. I am not climbing Notre Dame and hollering that every man should get one. I came as close to a close call as one can get a few months ago. What occurred scared me and had a lasting affect on my emotional status. And fully aware things change in life, which is why I am taking precautions against not being able to “go back”. And we all know how easy it is to get lost in the moment. We’ve all sped down the street, I’d rather not get the ticket for speeding.

/r/MGTOW04/07/18 07:53 PM

Copy all. You say this word “adventure”. My adventures have consisted of a 9 month deployment bobbing in the ocean (three years first duty station), a two year stint in DC and a current 2 year stint in the shipyards (where I had gotten ord modded twice). After this? Office jobs for the next 12 years...

Unfortunately, it’s the military which is draining. This current tour did it for me. The bounds against firing are ridiculous. I have maybe $300K to play with. A risk? Maybe. But that would be my full time job managing contractors and the like.

Single guy here. This is my daily diet. Breakfast: protein shake and 2% milk, 3 eggs. Lunch: Chicken Breast, minute rice Dinner: Chicken Breast Snack: okinos yogurt (2 cups) Quest bar for snack. Chicken breasts are so easy. I buy the family packs at the store, cut the fat off and cut in half. Let soak in various marinade for 24 hours and then bake for 40 minutes. Let’s not talk about how much Galil builds cost in the states...outta sight outta mind. And the VZ58 outperforms the AK any day of the week...love that rifle.

Actually...(I had to look up what quick scope meant) eastern optics are generally raised and offset to the left. This ensures that if your optic goes out (no quick detach), you can use your irons without hesitation.

The SAR! That’s beautiful! I’m gathering the parts for an R5 clone right now...in fact...it’s about as much an R5 as an AK kit build is. And then I was stupid and bought a Micro Galil kit...

If they make you nervous and you would like to conquer that fear and discover the ultimate glee that comes from pulling the trigger and the later glee of hearing the round bing off the target, look into your local NRA chapter. The NRA (and gun guys in general) are more than happy to show you the ropes. Strength in numbers. Just make sure you bring the ammo!

Ah. Yes. Sorry. This is Jeff Miller’s truck. Premier Galil builder in the US. The rifle? Mine.

There are 10s, 30s, 40s and some extendos. Then there are 75 and 100 round drums. I stay away from tacticool firearms. Much prefer the traditional look. Take that maadi (who imported it?) and get an Egyptian stock (rare) with brown grip and brown bayonet or an Egyptian folding stock with black/blue pistol grip and black bayonet. ...non weld? You mean stamped? Milled? Screw builds? Go to Akfiles or the AK groups and learn! Took my 3 years.
/r/MGTOW22/06/18 02:55 AM

It’s a crazy accurate rifle. Scope is great. I only use combloc optics on my combloc rifles. And ugh. I abhor tactical furniture. Wood all the way. As to the bipod? No problem with 30s or 40s...

Thanks for your questions! This is actually a Yugoslavian M72AB1N clone. M72 with an M70 trunnion and M70 folding stock. It’s a total custom job by Advanced Weapon Systems in Greenwood, Indiana. They built this for me, put on a PSL rail and cheek riser from AMDtech. I also had a custom pistol grip made as well. As far as the scope, it’s a 4x24 POSP with Simonov reticle. Belarus made so it’s tough. And yes. 7.62x39. Rifle can hit 1.5 MOA.

Agreed. Maybe it’s a (pardon this phrase) “safe space”? Weird to even use that language. I remember when I learned it. The bottom dropped out and I was enraged for a few years. I don’t believe it I used any SJW language in my post or replies. The facts are what they are. Hypergamy is real. Misandry is real. Feminists are real. And the divorce courts/child supports are very very real. Ask me how I know. However, I believe there is too much of a focus on our reaction to it. I’ll be the first to say I will be there every step of the way if someone needs help. We’ve all been bruised and beaten. But when I come here sometimes and see the same boorish behavior or “the stupid…

Then that’s absolutely retarded. But we are more than just “Peter Pan syndrome boys who live in their parents’ basements”. There is so much knowledge and strength in the group. I’m think we would be hurting ourselves if we didn’t focus on such. I’ve been through the ringer. Vicious 1-2 punch. Still standing. That’s the plan. Something that’ll last a good many years. Changing careers in a few so that’s when laptop will be necessary.

Yessir. I’m pulling up sub1K guides on the Internet. Just so freakin much info. But yeah. I got outta something sticky and think I’m perfectly happy being the fuck alone.

VR? Not really. Googled VR porn and...well...I was left relieved but not too impressed.

Es verdad! Definitely thinking on it. But hell. It took my a weekend to put my 3” on my Jeep when I knew nothing about it. I’m up for a challenge!

I see that shit everywhere. Been looking at Origin, however...never built one before. Looking at sub 1000 for build.

I’d probably stick with Windows. Never dealt with Linux.

I’m debating that. Other than going out sailing with the guys (that’s the only time I drink one or two beers), I stay home. Strict diet so no super coffees for me from the local coffee shop.

These BPD women will get you. The highest highs and lowest lows. But you are chasing the dragon...chasing that feeling that’ll never return. But you swear you can fix her! Narcissistic tendencies. I have them as well. My father too. Just recognize what you are and where it’ll lead you. Makes life much better.

Yeah. I’d go. Not going would be a slight. You’ve done what you could to divert this situation, however he will have to learn. If you are his real friend, go. MGTOW doesn’t depend on your shoulders.

It’s easy. You remind yourself of the fact that no one gets married with the inkling of divorce in their mind. Yet, what happens? 50% of marriages crumble. The remaining 50%? 25% are “together for the kids”. So that’s 25% chance you won’t have to give her half your stuff and spend the next how many number of years paying child support that doesn’t go to the child but goes towards her own well being. I’m in the military where I intend to retire. Do you know what happens if you divorce your spouse…

As someone who struggles with blue pill/red pill and MGTOW, this makes total sense.

Bingo Bango. If you make it to 20. However, I am unsure of the particulars. Someone in the Army or USMC might be able to provide further details.

Once you hit that 10 year marriage mark in the military...same thing.

So then? Just a life of solitary existence? I don't really look forward to that. That doesn't seem like a very pleasurable existence. For what am I building? But I guess everyone who has gone through a divorce feels that way...you never get married to get divorced however it happens 50% of the time. I honestly don't know if I would be able to handle that...a divorce. Saw it happen already with my parents. Saw how it destroyed my father. He rebuilt but it took a lot of time...

I'm in it for the long haul. 15 more years and I'll retire. One more sea duty and then I am finished with sea for a time. Maybe after that would be beneficial. Thing is, I like the action. I crave being at sea. Looking Glass - Brandy

I'm afraid, as weak as that sounds. Just absolutely terrified of this loneliness. Is it the giving up of a dream? Of shunning what we've been conditioned to desire? My entire life, I have been loving, caring and it's bitten me hard once or twice. But it scares me along this new pathway. I see the minefield. My parents got divorced, my grandparents got divorced, my uncle got divorced, my stepfather was also divorced. Divorce is everywhere. And half your things, gone. Half of it all. The tough thi…

I stumbled 3 years ago. Picked myself up by the grace of God, Mohammed, Yahweh, Buddha, the Flying Spaghetti Monster. It's a tough go, gentlemen. Funny, my father is 68 and doesn't have time for broads. Reads a lot of The Moon and Three Six Pence. Anyway...yes. Rebuild. My life. Thank you.
