Don't you worry about me, I don't post to get a white knight cavalry, just to speak my own experience just to share another perspective. Whether I get replied to or not doesn't bother me. Anyway, good luck to you with your journey.

Not sure if you are being sarcastic or not. Anyway I don't post very much only when the subject hits close to home. I usually only talk about my personal experience, welcome to MRP :)

SAHM here. I worked from time to time until we got pregnant with #3, then it was less expensive for me to stay home with our kids and they actually asked me to be home with them. We moved a lot for my husband's job so it wouldn't have worked for me to try and find work. We moved 10 times the 1st ten years of marriage. Then we settled down in a rural area and we have 4 special needs kids out of 5 so we had lots of appointments, it would've been pointless for me to work. Now that I could, I got in…

Ok I will tell you I was raped at 16, the guy took my virginity, I was ashamed of it for a long time but when I met my husband at 18 yrs I told him because I thought it was important. I told him early on, I figured he deserved to know. It took me a very long time to really deal with it. I am glad he stuck by me throughout it all, now I have never withheld sex, there is no point in punishing either of us but I had a very bad temper at times. I am ok now and I am very glad I told him from the get …

When I discipline our kids my husband backs me up, when he disciplines our kids I back him up. Pretty simple really, if we do something one of us doesn't like we talk about it alone afterward.

I don't know, I guess I wouldn't want my husband talking crap about me so I would not do that to him either, plus our marriage is our business not anyone elses.

Wow ok even when I am uber mad at my husband I have never bad mouthed him to anyone especially his mother! I vent to myself outloud when I am alone and I am ok after. Nobody should ever air their dirty laundry to anyone, she should've talked to you about it instead.

We discuss and decide but ya I usually make the budget and pay the bills, morgage etc... I am really good with numbers and money and he trusts me 100% just like I trust him with stuff he is much better at than me.

I have always taken care of the finances, he works and I take care of the finances so he can relax when he gets home. We talk and choose where the money goes and I manage it. I am good and efficient at it and why I take care of it.

I actually cook, clean, do the laundry and take care of all of our bills and I love doing it all. My husband works out of the home and takes care of all the outside work.

Bunch of crap. I was actually super happy to never get pregnant again and to not have to think or worry about it is making things much nicer for both of us. We have 5 kids and it's plenty. 10 yrs after the V and we still have loads of fun.

I still view him as my man. he has always found a way to make me laugh no matter what the circumstances. I have always been attracted to him and still am. We both always and still care about our appearances. I always have had a high libido so he doesn't need to game me much to get "jumped" and I like a good fuck and to submit in the bedroom plus I am kinky so really we are doing well. I never said I was special, I said I don't have male friends except my husband's friends. I wouldn't like my husband having female friends so I don't have male ones. It works for us. I will never put myself in a situation to endanger my marriage but hey think what you want. I have been with my husband for 23 yrs and still love him very much and to me it's all that matters.
/r/askMRP30/11/15 06:36 PM

I don't do GNO simply because I am a homebody, if I were going it would be at someone's house, I don't do bars and places like that. I'd rather be home with my husband and chill watching a movie or something else entirely :p edit: spelling

You're right I have very few female friends because women in general talk about the mundane stuff and care and put themselves first and foremost without the thought of their husband's/boyfriends needs. Plus they aren't able to be blunt. I always say stuff like it is and it doesn't make me make friends easily but my true friends love me for it. I am proud of the fact that I am able to get out of my comfort zone to do introspection. It's not always easy but it's worth it.

My husband brought me on board after 2 weeks of him reading the RP sub. I found it very interesting and read some of Rollo stuff. I love reading men's perspective on stuff and I have always strived to better myself. I have always been a housewife and my dad is very RP so it wasn't a "traumatic" change for me. Boundaries are clear and even though we always had great communication it helped in that area even more so. I wish you luck in your new life :)

No favorite recipes, I try lots of new things, mostly what my sons find and want me to try. I am one of the wives and I think self improvement is good for anyone. I was/am really proud of my husband for his self discovery. Was it weird that he started doing this all of the sudden? Sure. I noticed something was up pretty much right away and I inquired. He thought on it and told me after 2 weeks. It brought on awesome discussions. He linked me to stuff which I loved. Good, great sex does wonder for any couple. We have matching libidos and that's also important. Always making efforts for your spouse does wonder as well. They say to change yourself if you want change and that's true. You can only ever change/improve yourself not anyone else and it usually will turn a situation around.

Not really setting boundaries and sticking with them aka being constant is key. It is hard as all get out but seriously for my sanity I do it.
/r/askMRP25/08/15 02:55 PM

Just like anything else you need to set bounderies or in this case your wife and she needs to stick to it. I had to do it with my own mother (my parents are divorced). It isn't always easy but well worth it in the end. My dad is very alpha, always has been and has never been a problem for us.

We seriously don't care if ours hear us. They are 10-11-13 and 15. They know we do 'it', it is up to them to stay in their bedroom past a certain time or they chance hearing us or seing us once we are done and getting out to go cleaned up.

Working as a team to have a clean house quickly is the way to go since everyone is eager to relax after a hard day at work/home there is no question about it. When you have plenty of great sex nobody goes for covert contracts anyway.

When hubby and ask each other to do stuff it's because it needs to be done and if we both do little things then everything gets done quickly. I don't try to control my husband when I ask him to put the trash on the curb and he isn't trying to control me when he asks me to fill the dishwasher. We do it because we love a clean house.

I don't know, spark and attraction is still very much there after almost 23 yrs together. I am a bit OCD and I am an introvert. It doesn't mean I am afraid of things (I just like order, I don't check if things are locked and such.) Introverts exist it doesn't mean we aren't social, it simply means I'd rather be home with my family than out and about. When I am out though I am very social and love talking and having a good time with my friends. Glad you came out of your shell though and faced your fears, pushing our own limits is always good :)

/r/MarriedRedPill15/06/15 02:36 PM

AWALT means that all women have tendencies toward the traits it doesn't mean we have all of them. The hypergamy was never for me. I had one boyfriend before meeting my husband and my husband was it for me. It doesn't mean I didn't have opportunities, it means that my husband was always enough for me and he still is. I wouldn't trade him for anyone else. I am a fiercely loyal person, seriously disgust me when I see/hear about anyone cheating on their spouse. No amount of money will every bring me…

Don't align how? It's not because I don't go after other men or am not interested to, that I don't fit in here. My husband posts here once in a while and has been for a year or so. If you know how you are built, you can consciously not put yourself in any position to do these things. I work from home, we have 5 kids and a granddaughter, 4 still at home that I take care of, watch our granddaughter 2 days/nights every two weeks. The only time I go out is with my husband once a week to grocery shop…

Probably a few of the exceptions. I have been with him since I was 18 yrs though and I am now 41 yrs. We have grown together and he has always worked really hard to provide for us so that I could stay home with our kids. When you find someone that is honest, treats you well, that you can talk with about anything and compatible in the bedroom, there is no need to seek anyone else IMO. I was lucky enough to have found the perfect partner for me.

Can you rephrase your question please? English is not my first language and I am unsure of the meaning of it. Thx.

Nope I don't care about the downvotes, like I said I know who I am so what other people think doesn't really matter. What my husband thinks of me now that matters.

I don't really care what you think, I have been with my husband since I was 18 yrs so 23 yrs this year. I have never been interested in other men, he is everything I want why would I look elsewhere? By the way my dad has money and it never brought him happiness, he divorced my mother so no money doesn't appeal to me. It is only good to pay what I need and a bit of what I want and I am ok with that. Taking walks with my husband, talking about anything and everything with him, watching movies or g…

It's something I will never agree to do for my husband though he's never asked but that is my limit and I do everything else he wants. Not a shit test it's just a question of limits for me.

Well he knows me well since we've been married 22 yrs plus everything to me counts, chocolate, cheetos, or bird houses, trees for the yard etc... Could be flowers from our own yard, just so that I know that he thought of me is enough. I already told him my birthday along with our anniversary and Christmas is fine with me. Anything else is cherries on the cake since I don't expect any.

I love touching him and it's his love language, mine is gifts and he is really good with that. There is never a problem when both parties make efforts is what I am trying to say. I give and he gives and we do it because we love to do it.
/r/MarriedRedPill10/06/15 06:00 PM

Most men feel loved with touch nothing wrong with that, I was just bringing up another perspective and like I said it's best when reciprocated by both parties :)
/r/MarriedRedPill10/06/15 05:32 PM

From my perspective and the way you are phrasing things, it looks like "act of service" is her love language it's how she feels loved. I could be wrong though. I think it's something that should go both ways though like if I get up to make myself a cup of tea I offer one to my husband and he does the same or if he knows I am getting up to do something then he may ask me for something for himself. Your wife though is she demanding or asking when she talks to you?
/r/MarriedRedPill10/06/15 10:55 AM

Yes this. I like to know when my husband will be home from work when he works late so I can have a hot diner for him when he gets home, there is nothing else to it.

Please don't do this to your son. He will feel guilty as all hell get out when he finds out you stayed because of him. Ask me how I know... Best your son sees you and your wife separated in loving relationships then the latter. Good luck.

I don't know why I was downvoted so much, I was just stating how it works here, I was just pointing out that some people regardless of genders don't over cuddle their sons. My dad always let us live our own experiences so we could be better equipped to deal with any given situations. Letting kids boys or girls figure things out between themselves is essential to give them good tools to be able to figure things out. We have 4 boys and I mostly don't interfere when they fight unless they are about to break something. I am not a cuddler towards my boys, they have learned to figure it our amongst themselves. They are 9-11-13 and almost 15 yrs. Not all women are cuddlers with their sons.
/r/MarriedRedPill16/03/15 07:43 PM

Most people actually don't fight when it comes to giving their kids their husband last names. His wife is an exception.
/r/MarriedRedPill15/03/15 01:11 PM

My last name along with my sister and all my female cousins is dead. We are all female on my dad's side and our kids still all got our husband's name, such is life and it's no big deal.
/r/MarriedRedPill15/03/15 01:10 PM

It's more complicated than that here. One can have a hyphenated name but when they marry if both parents have a hyphenated name they get to choose which one they want their kids to have because one cannot have more than 2 hyphenated last names.
/r/MarriedRedPill15/03/15 01:22 AM

Ok because of laws here I didn't have a choice to keep my last name when we married but what is her reasonning with not giving the baby your last name only??? Our kids all have hubby's last name only.

Once you get into a routine it gets easier. I get up at 6:15 am every morning, do the laundry, then get my coffee, do the kitchen, eat breakfast. I then work (home based business) and take little breaks here and there to fold laundry and empty the dishwasher. Work more, eat lunch and when I am done I take a wee break or start on diner depending on the time. Wait for hubby and the 2 oldest to get home, eat diner and nap then finish work if I am not done. Rinse and repeat the next day lol

My mother wouldn't let us do anything. I hated it. We have 5 kids and the 4 still at home all boys do their share. They live here they need to participate in everything. My boys know how to cook, clean, use the snowblower, the mower etc... they will be well equiped for when they are on their own.

He works out of the home + everything else he does at home so keeping the house up on most stuff is fine with me. We're both beat by the times he comes home so diner and nap required and we both feel better after. Kids do their parts, they are old enough for that and what's left over we usually do together. Sometimes he does it on it's own sometimes I do, it's not about who did what it's about getting everything done to have a relaxing evening.

I do all the cleaning, laundry in the morning and I start diner around 2:30- 3pm since hubby gets home with the oldest kids around 4pm every week day. I don't know why you say it's a cop out, I really couldn't care less about other people sex lives, seriously don't you have anything better to do with your time? My husband, kids, family are important. How other choose to live their lives is up to them and doesn't take anything away from me. I've been married almost 22 yrs so really whatever you think about TRP/RPW something seems to be working somewhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/15 01:35 AM

my husband and I don't care about how other people choose to live. We use the parts that are useful in our relationship, but when it comes to "AWALT" it doesn't matter enough to even really discuss it any further than considering what levels of those traits exist in me. Applauds this comment, it is exactly how we go about TRP!

Red Pill women think highly of THEIR own man not everyone elses. Mine trains at home, works hard and I have been his only woman. AWALT is traits that all women tend to have but it doesn't mean they will act on all of them. Like for me hypergamy doesn't pertain to me at all. I have always taken my commitment super seriously and when men hit on me I told them right away to back off I am married. I was also 19 yrs when I married and DH was number 2. It didn't sound cold to me. If you don't prioritize your relationship no one will for you. I have never let anyone dictate my life (though I was looking for my dad's approval for a long time) but the day I decided to stop that, I was liberated. When you put your LTR or marriage as your first priority, pretty much nothing can destroy it. People won't try and mess with you in general because they know you'll put your foot down and it won't be pretty.
/r/RedPillWomen25/01/15 02:48 PM
5

I try and not do that or else I get ignored until I talk to him with respect, same goes for the opposite as well. It's not worth it. It's much nicer to actually talk nicely so the other person really listens to how you are feeling plus it doesn't make a situation escalade into a huge fight.
/r/MarriedRedPill24/01/15 02:41 PM

From my perspective take it how you want but I am hapilly married and the only times I go out at night is with my husband and we are back much earlier than midnight. I would never go out with single friends at a bar to start with. It's asking for trouble period. I wouldn't flirt and men that have hit on me in the past were told right then that I am married but men can be insistant, not a situation I'd ever put myself into.
/r/MarriedRedPill22/01/15 08:41 PM

I am also not attracted to big muscles. When I met my husband he was 135 lb wet at 6' tall. He knows this, I have told him often enough in our 22 yrs. He trains now and has gained some but it's not exagerated so I am still attracted to him. He had "thickened" a bit in the last years where he is around 155 lb now which is just fine for me.

I am ISFJ myself. I'd say hubby and I balance eachother out really well. I rarely have widly irrational burrs though, I know when I am most vulnerable so I check myself (pms week) lol hubby is forwarned each time so it goes smoothly.

When I mean communicating I mean having an intelligent conversation you know rational? That is how I communicate, I rarely share my feelings with my husband nor do I share them with friends. It's something he,s actually told me, that sometimes it would be good for me to do. I keep a journal instead.
/r/MarriedRedPill19/01/15 07:19 PM
1

No you cannot negotiate desire but sometimes it's other issues that make either gender not want to have sex and these need to be communicated indeed. The thing that I love about my husband is that we can talk about anything at all times. I am aware of TRP which in turn makes me aware of my female flaws which helps me work on them.
/r/MarriedRedPill19/01/15 03:06 PM

I figure you're right but I can honestly say that throughout our 22 yrs together I have always been attracted to him even when our relationship was toxic and I turned him BP. The only thing that would make me loose attraction is if he were to cheat. I find him interesting no matter the subject. edit grammar

I just meant that I put enough pressure on myself to loose the weight, my husband didn't need to lead me in that direction, I was doing it on my own. I think regardless of gender when you respect yourself enough you take good care of yourself via food, exercise etc...
/r/MarriedRedPill07/01/15 08:57 PM
3

Agreed but women tend to let themselves go as well after kids, not all of course. Mine never put pressure on me after (we have 5 kids) because I was putting enough pressure on myself. I think neither should let go of themselves if it can be helped. Wearing relax clothes once in a while is ok but shouldn't be the norm.
/r/MarriedRedPill07/01/15 08:24 PM
2

Well it's all a question of balance. We have 5 kids and I couldn't have done it without my husband's help while they were babies. I am home though and I have a schedule from morning till evening and I keep to it. He does still help a bit here and there in the evenings, weekends but we both nap after diner for an hour or two and that helps us have a relaxed evening which in turn leads to more... interesting things when the kids are in bed.

/r/MarriedRedPill06/01/15 03:23 AM

If he wouldn't apologize I would be upset but not say anything as he knows me really well and he also knows that I do not hold grudges but I also have a very long memory. It would be like anything else as long as he'd learn from it we would move on.
/r/MarriedRedPill06/01/15 12:55 AM
3

People say it is a rare thing to be with someone a long time now, well when you both work hard at bettering yourself, are not afraid to admit to your mistakes and to face things on... You will, stumble, you will both make mistakes but as long as you'll own up to them and that you both don't ever hold grudges it'll work. I still love my husband very much. We've been through thick and thin and yes he still impresses me from time to time and I love him for all he is and everything he does.

I'll let the men reply but I have to comment on the lying (fib) bit. I would rather my husband don't lie and not get the (insert what needs to be done) right away then fib and then I find out it's not done. I am a super honest person and I expect the same back.

Going for the unknown is always scary and yes it takes you out of your comfort zone and it is how, one self improves and grows. There are tons of hurdles along the way but it's always worth it once you've reached your destination!

Change takes time, my dad has always told me the time it took you to get into a situation, it'll takethe same amount of time to change it etc... Change takes time and adjustements along the way. You have to be dedicated to it and follow through no matter your gender. You will fall from time to time and that is where perseverance comes in, you get up and keep on going.
/r/MarriedRedPill05/01/15 03:44 PM

Logically women should know this. The first thing you notice is actually the person physical features, weight, hair, eyes etc... you either will be attracted to the person or not, like it or not first impressions are all about the body, then when you get to know eachother intelligence and personalities. I can still tell you what my husband was wearing when I met him 22 yrs ago along with the way his hair was.

My husband takes my kids to the restaurant every holiday and he wanted me to come along but I almost never did. I never knew how important it was to him until he told me. I thought he enjoyed spending time alone with the 4 boys. Now that I know I will be going for sure. Now you need to figure out for yourself if it's really important for her to go along with you and go from there.

My MIL is super nice. She doesn't impose herself. She stayed with us for a week back in June and it was great! She blended right in. She is coming back next June and I can't wait! My FIL has been passed for almost 8 years and wasn't with my MIL they were divorced for a very long time.

I am also on board with my husband and it works really well. Most women want their husbands to be a MAN, not the mousy Bluepill mess we have created. Right on!

Well my husband would tell you and again talking for myself that I do know what I want and I am right to the point when talking to him or anyone. I do not know hiw wife so you may be right about her not knowing what she wants but I think if he does sit with her and open dialogue it should help her figure it out.
/r/MarriedRedPill18/12/14 11:43 AM

Yes and I did say I was talking from my perspective. The way OP wrote though it seems it is unusual for his wife to say something like that as well.

I don't make up the laws and this one has been in effect since 1981, I couldn't tell you why even if I tried. I wish I could take his name but I can't.

Well that is fine, I mean it works for him and his "wives", I am talking about my situation where our agreement is being exclusive with eachother. I was talking from my point of view that if I ever told my husband he could go step out it would mean something is terribly wrong!
/r/MarriedRedPill18/12/14 02:41 AM

I am 40 yrs hubby is 42 yrs and neither of us look our age, we both look in our 30's. Also I don't really care that your wife would think me insecure. The only thing that would make us divorce is if either of us cheat on the other. When we married we commited to eachother not anyone else. We are happy together and have been for 22 yrs and neither of us feels the need to go elsewhere.

What happens when you go through your thirties? I am 40 yrs and might've gone through some stuff in the past but seriously never told my husband he could step out and he's never told me this either. On the contrary the only conditions with both have for divorce is if you cheat we're done, we can get through anything else together. We've been married 21+ yrs together 22 yrs. I would definitly have a sit down with your wife to see what is really going on.

Nope no way to change it at all as far as I know, it is a law afterall. Spouses' names Both spouses keep their birth names after marriage and continue to exercise their civil rights under that name, i.e. they must use their birth name in contracts, on credit cards, on their driver’s licence, etc. This rule applies to all spouses domiciled in Québec, even if they were married outside Québec. However, women married before April 2, 1981 who were already using their husband’s surname before that dat…

This lady obviously has problems. I am proud to be called my husband's wife and when I married him I did become his wife, if she didn't want the title she didn't have to marry him. Also for the name thing, it's the law here we can't take our husband's name since 1981 so it isn't always a choice, we have to stick with our maiden name.

In fact, he said something along the lines of "...and none of it would have come together without the hard work of my wife." But, apparently, such a self-deprecating and humble bit of praise wasn't adequate. Instead of smiling thankfully and gratefully of his acknowledgement of her hard work and planning, she grimaced and growled: "Don't call me that!" Ouch. He didn't call her a bitch, a cunt, a whore, a slut, a goldigger, or any number of other bits of borderline misogyny to cause offense - the…

I'll tell you this to remain thin is 80% diet and 20% exercises. I can't do any exercises except some yoga/pilates type and walking because of my back and I don't do them often but I also eat really healthy with some treats sometimes of course. Just cutting out sugar would be a tremendous help! You should approach her health wise about this not about attraction. Maybe she doesn't eat enough? So you were once fat and overweight and she still put up with you until you were ready to change? You should give her the same courtesy. BTW I have the opposite problem, I can't gain weight even after having 5 kids and it sucks. Neither spectrums are nice. I am 5'10, 140lbs. You need to sit with your wife and be nice about it, it is really hurtful when you are told your husband isn't attracted to you anymore and it probably shattered her self esteem/confidence. How would you have felt had she to…

I am 5'10 and proud of it. I am plenty feminine, it's all in your attitude. Be proud of who you are and all that you are. Men love confidente women that aren't self conscious. Once you accept yourself fully men will do the same.

Oh I know you weren't, I am just saying that however busy someone is, washing a container takes 2 minutes, it's no big deal and sex shouldn't even be brought up. I do tell my husband once in a while hey you forgot to put your towel away this morning but I don't ask for an apology nor do I withhold sex and the towel is clean and put away already lol
/r/MarriedRedPill11/12/14 04:37 PM

I work from home (I have my own business) and I look after our granddaughter 2 days/nights out of two weeks plus our 4 boys ages ranging from 9-14 yrs, so I am busy too but come one withholding sex for any reason is stupid more so for a dirty container that takes 2 minutes to wash.

I can't believe she wants you to apologize for a forgotten lunch container. My husband forgets from time to time and so do our sons. No big deal I mean I throw away the left overs and put them in the dishwasher while I clean the kitchen, rinse, lather repeat when necessary. It's my job as a WAHM to keep the house clean. I won't withold sex for dishes.

That is a manly thing to do, something that I don't like so when my husband does it I love it. Another exemple is cutting the grass in the summer and blowing the snow in the winter. Our husbands do lots of things for us that most women would take for granted like working and providing security for us. I am a WAHM and we have traditionnal roles, my husband pulls his weight so I have to pull mine by showing appreciation by cleaning the house, cooking, doing laundry etc... We also do lots of those …

Been together 22 yrs this week and I have always had a high sex drive, I got with my hubby because I was attracted to him and vice versa and just like a good wine he has aged quite nicely and I am even more attracted to him now then when we met. I have sex because I want to not because he forces me to. It's always an intimate moment, the before, during and after and brings us closer together. Not it isn't a chore. He quit putting up with my bullshit, didn't engage me and stopped me from escalating in certains situations, quit bending backwards for me all the time and quit apologizing all the time for stuff he shouldn't have in the first place. These are some of the things. We've been together 22 yrs we don't play games ie dread/manipulation etc... I am his wife not his plate.

Haha my husband is far from a fat lazy slob! This made me laugh, I was always attracted to him, problems came from elsewhere and he didn't have to use manipulation/dread and emotional infidelity at all! We worked together with communication and open minds and owning up to each our mistakes but again thanks for the laugh :)
