Proud of you queen! 💕 I'm with you and agree that FDS has been the best sub I've came across reddit. Much love

I also found it ridiculous. His supposed reasoning at the time was "I'd like a woman whom is fully independent and doesn't depend on me in case we break up". I get the reason, but didn't understand the logic behind breaking up. I'd love to live on my own and atm building up my experience as a therapist, within the medical field, before moving up north and land a job quicker in the areas I've been eyeing to move to. Thank u for the input!

I've thought of this, but certain things he did made me believe it was another reason. I would love to live on my own and it's been on my mind for awhile, though I'm looking to move quite some hours away from him and into a new city. I'd have to do my research. I also found it to be a very weird 'condition' before moving in. Well, at least I'm glad he is no longer in my life :) thanks for the input!

I'd love to live on my own once I get some things done and this whole virus blows over. Been having the urge to do so for sometime, but I definitely don't want to move out within my city, because it's mega expensive. Im very happy you landed a HVM! I hope to find a HVM someday, but I've only came across LVM. This sub has helped me in many ways. Thank you for your input!

Ahhh makes sense. I have the same views of not wanting to be his second mom, but in regards to before marriage. Thought it was a weird request, but it's nice to get advice from you ladies. Thank you for the input!

Personally, I can't be engaged to a man unless I've lived with him for a year. Helps me see if he actually helps me out around the house and his dynamics with living together. That's my take on it tbh :) I don't rush moving in together, but that is a condition of mine before being proposed to. Thanj u for the input!

I was quite taken aback when he answered very upfront the way he did, but I didn't like the whole scenario of being pushed to do something in order to prove to him I can be more 'independent' I'd like to move out when I'm ready, just wanted some perspectives on this. Thank u for the input!

Oh yes, I've actually deleted all my dating apps for this reason. They see, I'm a therapist and start asking for a massage like.. buddy.. first off, I'm not looking for clients thru a dating app. Men are so brainless. I've also found male therapists offer their services thru dating apps 🙄 the nerve

As a massage therapist, the amount of guys that want a 'free massage' when I'm getting to know them is incredible. This is quite a turn off for me. Don't even get me started on male clients🙄 those are the worst

This is literally the best sub I've came across since, having a reddit acct. So many of these describe my ex and boy was I wrong for forgiving him on things where I needed to walk out. This is quite an eye opener tbh. Been on a self love jorney♡ ty ladies

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
