Yeah, I am in the same boat. Wife told me she wanted a divorce Thursday. She wants the house, and me to move out. I said no, the kids will be devastated but it will pass. Get your self a lawyer, document, document, over document. Depends on the state for spousal support and child support. Does your wife work? She’s entitled to half. Try to be cordial and work it out without the lawyers to cut down the costs if you can.

I mean there’s a threshold for younger, I think if you have kids, especially ones that are older (over 18) do you want to be hooking up with a woman your daughter’s age? I mean I think if she is closer in age to your kids then you should look closer to your age, just my opinion. Single moms and cougars have needs too

Having kids and being married to someone you no longer call wife is never easy to handle. Remember why you loved her and then remember why you are here. Seek help, talk with someone, maybe a friend or a family member. Working out and focusing on myself has always helped me when I get lonely or upset. Turn yourself into the person that she wishes she never left…
