i thought boyfriend dick meant you wanted that shit all the time… i owe my ex an apology…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/25 03:18 PM

i’m not past the mid twenties yet (23) but my friends and I all go for the thin, boyish look, no facial hair type still.

Cant argue with that ! I suppose i’d rather people explain to me their concerns with my ideals or anecdotes of what can go wrong ect so i can learn fair enough, i appreciate your honesty with that No one has to censor their opinions, but it’s nice to be respectful when someone else is showing you respect. Anyway, i’m not at all offended and I appreciate your engagement and input !

Humans are animals ! you seem thrilling, love your criteria. I always plan ahead and prepare ! If tragedy struck I am willing to work full time, what i expressed in my op is my ideal but i would deviate from it if needs be. I’d always ensure I have a potential source of income / savings incase i have to leave, my parents are also wonderfully supportive so they’re always there for me too. Maybe this means i’m not as traditional as i thought i was ? Also thank you for being so respectful !

I think that’s something very important for me to take away from this. Strong communication and accountability are vital — i often fall into the people pleasing trap too, so i will ensure in any future relationship I am having contant check ins with myself that my needs are being met before it gets to this level. Thank you for sharing your story !

Yeah of course they are, i just thought we all supported a women’s right to chose what role she wants to take. Disagreeing is fine but why call someone stupid for it? I’m just curious on the exact reasoning, like, do you think women like me hold a movement back or give men ammunition or is it frustration in seeing ‘wasted potential’ ect. My mind is always open, hence why I posted. I want to hear opinions from everyone and I may even change some of my views if people give me some good reasons or …

now I think if I was american id probably want to work full time too. I can’t imagine how scary it must be if your partner or child got sick and you had to care for them and then also PAY for them to get better. Wishing you good fortune and health !

you’ve been very respectful and i appreciate you but can i ask, why when a woman is traditional why do feminist women feel a need to put her down for her beliefs if she’s happy ? i see and hear multiple people telling me im braindead, sad or mentally ill for wanting to be traditional. I feel ostracised from other women from this which sucks because i love women and we achieve many wonderful things. I think this leads me to interact with more male opinions online which only further push my belief…

oh no my condolences. i don’t believe you get any paid time off for children over there :( do you think in america everyone feels pressured to have dual income households and split chores due to the cost of medical care and living ?

oh no i’m so sorry that happened to you, i hope you’re in a much better place now. in any dynamic it’s always important to advocate for yourself and your health. Were you in a trad relationship at this time ? if so, do you think this dynamic led to the deterioration of your health and how ?

ah yes that is sad, i do feel horrible for the women that have been fucked over in this situation but rest assured i am not one of them, i always have plan b and a wonderful support system of family and friends

I don’t think they can’t come first, i think it just makes it a lot more difficult i suppose. My personal belief is that my children would benefit more from having a parent constantly present and actively teaching them day by day. Maybe 1 day of nursery a week for socialisation reasons. Apologies if i’ve explained anything poorly, I enjoy being subservient and following someone else’s lead, i still like free use and put it effort to look good for someone all the time. I would still rather not wo…

the definition of “partner” is two people working together, it doesn’t specify equality. But even so, I just prefer a dynamic where we have two clear roles that come together to get all the jobs ticked off. It’s still mutual effort but i do the tasks i enjoy and am good at and he does the same. In regards to being led, im just a directionless, go-with-the-flow type of person so i appreciate people who make decisions, even in my friendships. We just compliment eachother nicely. An example could b…

You get me. I like a relationship where we serve eachother if different ways. Maybe i clean the house but he works out all the admin surrounding the bills, he buys the groceries and I cook the meals ect. I like when we have clearly defined roles and tasks that appeal to our strengths so that we can come together and make a great result !

to explain my side: i wouldn’t be happy if the other person is deliberately making mess for me to clean but im happy to do their laundry and washing up because i enjoy these things and like to do them my “right” way. It brings me joy to help out especially if the other person is doing things for me like life admin, boring contracts and phone calls ect. i think these points are great but i do feel a need to add: I come from a very loving home — my parents are together, mum is the best person on the whole planet and i’m a carbon copy of my dad, he takes me to football and expresses to me i’m his favourite often. I also had double the love as i spent a lot of time with my grandparents as my parents both worked a lot. i suppose i see it as a partnership as i am someone with little direction in life. I’m not motivated my money, possessions or career. I work to live not live to work, i’m happy with what i have and prefer to spend my time journaling, painting, doing yoga, staying healthy, cooking ect. Right now I manage all life admin for myself and my 2 flatmates - i’m perfectly capable. However, I hate managing all these things. This is something i do understand, id never push anyone else to see things the way i do. i’m very happy women have the choice in these situations, my mother is the breadwinner and the decision maker whilst also being super awesome no.1 mum ! definitely agree you can never rely wholly on another person of any gender, always important to have plan b and your own income i just wish i wouldn’t get so bashed by my own gender for thinking this way, im having this discussion because I AM openminded and…

haha no offence taken! we are for sure polar opposites in our outlook ! i’m not so much looking for intense trad wife life. I’ll always have my own income and stand up to ensure we’re both putting in equal effort just into different areas the harmonise together. you seem lovely and i hope you find what you seek, ill definitely still check out these sources to further educate myself as im always open minded to different dynamics. thank you !

this sounds perfect. my main worry has always been childcare in the future as i really don’t like the idea of my children going to a daycare or nursery. i always liked the idea of sticking to what we know and dividing chores based on who’s good at what and i actually enjoy cleaning (maybe too much) and would love to educate a small person on how to navigate the big world ! i think the “led” part more so came from the fact im still young so there’s some knowledge to be gained and i loved how my l…

seems to be the common answer here ! the answer to that one is because i’m stupid and didn’t know i could do a poll but also i wanted to see discussion about the benefits and drawbacks of the traditional nuclear household from the past and this egalitarian mindset most people have now.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/25 08:34 AM

oh exactly 100%, it’s all about being on the same page. I started the discussion to see how peoples views differ and what other individuals are looking for in modern society really. especially because i see such opposing and strong opinions in this sub !

i like this perspective a lot ! With this set up how will childcare work and how much time off do you get to look after your baby in your country ?

actually a bisexual female ! i should’ve made clear i don’t expect anyone else to live like this ! i’ve always been egalitarian really but my last relationship was with someone very traditional and it sort of opened my eyes - however i can see how these things only worked because he was a great guy with a whole lot of gratitude !

This seams like a very nice fair distribution. I’m glad you’ve found what works for you ! do you feel like your husband does a good job when he does chores like laundry, cleaning ect? where you live, how much time off do men and women get when they have a child ?

makes sense, good for you having the self respect to not lower your standards. my best friend is very attractive (7.5-8/10) and she dated and had sex with a 300lbs northern virgin that everyone assumed was her dad because she was impressed how good he was at league, so don’t give up hope !
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/25 03:15 PM
1

wasn’t really a question initially just wanted to clarify if you’re alone because you have high standards or if it was due to your looks but i see it could be both ? now i have you here though ! can i ask, why do you prefer to remain a virgin than sleep with a mid woman ?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/25 03:05 PM
2

i don’t necessarily agree with op but, didn’t you just say you were alone because you only go for top tier women? you say you could “easily” have someone on your level and then proceed to say “the only reason i am alone is because im facially below average”
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/25 02:39 PM

i had this same issue with my ex, he always wanted me to admit i wanted a bigger dick and was insecure about it to the point it became a kink of his wanting me to shame him for his “small” 6.5+ inch penis ? i see he’s trying to protect himself in a way by saying it’s small first but that shit only scared me because it was so far away from reality and what i wanted. i just wanted HIS dick
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/25 08:05 AM

It’s only desirable in a fwb type of situation where you’re desperately hoping the guy doesn’t have feelings for you in my opinion. I don’t really care what they’re doing as long as they aren’t secretly hoping for more with me, however if this was a girl looking for a relationship then 0% of the time it would be a turn off.

Women are two faced and hard to approach (Obviously this is a generalisation)
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/23 02:57 PM
1

It’s a double edged sword though because as a woman it is so much harder to get pleasure from a man than it is to give it. Sucks for all of us out here. We all must communicate more.

My ex fiancé was 5 foot nothing, worked at McDonald’s and it never put me off. Women do compromise with looks in the real world but on a dating app the initial swipe is almost based 100% of what you find attractive.

I think as a female it’s really hard to get into the red pill because you’re often met with straight up abuse and objectification. I like to learn and explore both sides but it’s hard when you’re constantly attacked.

Do you think your erectile dysfunction and hatred of women could be linked possibly…?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/23 02:05 AM

I would say women are expected to take on masculine roles in todays society. We are no longer brought up doing needlepoint and skipping college whilst being spoilt by our fathers. We have the same mandatory education and have to support ourselves because this isn’t the 50s where some guy will marry us right out of school. We must prepare for a future of looking after ourselves, which we are more than capable of, so why aren’t you?

Woman here, we get these standards from women, no one I know really cares what men think, only other women. We admit it often.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/23 10:27 PM
1

Yeah but we aren’t equals. You can’t control other peoples perceptions. Fat women can preach all they want it doesn’t mean people will find them attractive when they didn’t before

/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/23 07:20 PM

Interesting perspective but unfortunately I think the “worthwhile” ones would be quite limited in quality and therefor a lot of men are going to end up incels.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/23 10:16 AM

Correct!
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/23 09:04 AM

And how can they do that? I highly doubt women nowadays would comply and be your submissive housewife if you took all their rights…. There would be riots and martyrs and women speaking up all over the western world.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/23 09:01 AM

What women though, this is the thing. I see all these arguments and I believe women can be like this because I see it online. However, all the 10/10 girls I know irl settle for men way below their physical league - below 5’10, overweight, shitbox car but kind and funny. For the record I’m 21 and in the UK.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/23 07:16 AM

If all the men stop going for these low tier women maybe then they would lower their standards, it’s a vicious cycle

Like they say, sharpener that sharpens a lot of pencils is valuable, a pencil that has been sharpened by many sharpeners is useless… We can all make up bullshit analogies, it doesn’t negate biology.

Idk others opinions may differ but I would judge men/women’s actions the same even though I agree we aren’t equal in the physical sense. My mind is open to other perspectives but to me this argument is a bit apples to oranges. One case is someone putting themselves out there on social media and other people contacting them whereas the other is actively reaching out to other individuals, which is why to me they are different.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/23 10:58 AM
0

For me personally I don’t understand why we have comparisons that aren’t equal. My logic is if she can post stuff in bikinis he can post pictures of himself topless. If he can like pictures of naked women she can like pictures of naked men. Why are we comparing things that aren’t the same ?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 01:23 PM
1

It’ll be because of the background they come from, if someone’s parents always had a Porsche growing up they will see it as average but a lower class person would be shocked at the cost.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 04:05 PM
1

What you’ve just said is two different things though. Equality would be women not being stigmatised for being young and having fun and men also doing THE SAME. if you want to say men should be allowed to play the field at 30, guess what? They can. Men are doing this in their 20s too, loads of people are!!
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 03:30 PM

This breaks my heart, personally it doesn’t matter to me. I have a male straight friend who we’ll call J. He’s in the girl chat, we get changed with him present, he’s invited to the sleepover, he’s invited to pre drink cocktails and to the self care nights. For some, yes, they may be uncomfortable with your sexuality and the potential for you to be attracted to them or maybe that you’ll alter the vibe they’re going for. My heart goes out to you though, it can be an unfair blocker
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 03:26 PM

I don’t think being not being fat is too much to ask, your credentials check out. Love that you do skincare, go you. Fat people love to make excuses.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 03:22 PM
1

I agree for the most part other than there are some obvious things out of our control such as; disability, illness and some other physical attributes that can’t be changed. At the end of the day your perspective is your reality, you made it what it is now, so make it what you want in the future
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 03:17 PM

I must say this is a bit of a generalisation. There will be plenty of women out there that don’t have these requirements for men. Personally I’ve never seen a man being shamed stating they want women just for sex, it’s pretty common and usually unchallenged. What I have seen, is women say they only want sex and to be branded whores by the very people who are sleeping with them. Now, I know my perspective isn’t everything, but that is the exact point I’m trying to convey. People are all different…

Sorry, to clarify I’m a female.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/23 01:19 PM

I must say for me, my count is 3. After all the discourse I see regarding women’s sexual exploits I must say it comes from a place of being worried that I’d be shamed/judged for my own endeavours.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/23 09:34 AM

As someone currently in their hoe phase, it’s honestly for shits and giggles and stories to tell. It’s literally just being single with added sex. The sex is not as good as with a partner, but I’m not looking for a partner so that’s that. Feel free to ask more questions (20f)
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/23 05:01 PM

Personally think all you straight people that are not there just to support your queer friends need to stay out. These places are meant to be safe spaces for queer people and the straight women coming in to escape from the harassment of men on nights out are only encouraging straight men to enter our safe spaces. It defeats the whole purpose
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/22 01:04 PM
1

I think if you’re not with the right person this applies but when you are truly best friends in your relationship, your girlfriend may just genuinely care and want to know everything so that she DOESNT upset you. I don’t think I could ever marry a man who was closed off about his emotions
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/22 02:46 PM
1

This. I feel like it goes for both genders, if any person really genuinely likes you, You. Will. Know! The people that play games or send mixed signals either don’t know what they want or do not want to commit
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/20 06:57 AM

As a female yeah I would, I am bisexual so if you look good and we get alone that’s all we need
