That's an extreme exception and not the rule. The rule is the man pays either way. Personally I don't disagree with that, as if he doesn't pay for his responsibilities it's left to the taxpayers to assist much of the time. What I don't like is the hypocrisy of modern feminists wanting equality but only on certain things.

So special rules for women that harm men?

Do you really think there's not a lot of guys who look back and think about it? Or that there aren't men who are sad and angry that the woman chose abortion? I don't like the concept of abortion or financial abortion, but I do agree that it's wrong to have one but not the other.

Consent to sex isn't consent to pregnancy or parenthood. Unless you're a man

What's there to feel guilty about? Do you think you killed a baby?

I haven't even fully read the sidebar on this sub. All the different labelling of stuff into different "pills" is ridiculous in my opinion.

Whatever people are into sex wise is fine so long as both parties are happy with the arrangement. Listening to my wifes tales from her friends it sounds like she's the only one who hasn't tried it. I'm little on the bigger side so it's not something she's interested in, and I'm honestly not interested in it myself. But according to my wife none of her friends actually enjoy it at all, and they do it soley becuase they feel it's expected.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/22 07:20 PM
1

But why though? Why would you want to do anal if you know it's not pleasant for your partner? There a perfectly good "hole" right next to the anus that's designed for sexual intercourse, it's even self lubricating
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/22 06:47 PM
3

It's too much porn usage that causes guys to be interested in anal.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/22 06:13 PM

Well that's not how I engage in conversation with people. If you said "healing crystals cure cancer 5% of the time", I'd respond with "Wow, I didn't know that, where did you learn about that?"

Height, good looks, and a fairly big head. I'm also not a hipster or a nerd. It's just been a signature look for over 20 years. I've never really liked baseball caps so fedoras became my thing. Bowler hats in my opinion are very difficult to pull off.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/22 09:08 PM

Fairly new in terms of social media stuff (yes reddit is social media). I mean my kids corrected me about a month show that it's pronunciated meeeemm, and not me-me.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/22 09:03 PM

Not really no. I've been collecting fedoras for 20 years. What happened in 2010 with fedoras?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/22 09:01 PM
2

No I'm not implying anything of the sort. If I say "Men have disgusting farts after drinking Guiness all night". It in no way implies that women don't have disgusting farts after drinking Guinness all night. When you take the mindset you're talking about to the extreme you end up like lillithofbabylon
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/22 08:58 PM

Shit, am I not allowed to wear fedoras? I have about 20 of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/22 08:55 PM

Why though? The conversation they were initating was about women or about men, not about people. It's no different to me saying there really needs to be more funding for a diabetes cure, and for you to try and derail the conversation by asking "what about cancer research?". Well, what about cancer research, we're discussing diabetes.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/22 07:00 PM

It is that simple. I'm a prolific reader and have a thirst for knowledge. I had to learn along time ago that most of the time you just have to let people tell their stories, and wonder about things on their own. You don't need to fill in the blanks for people. To me it seems like you lack emotional intelligence and don't understand how to socially interact.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/22 06:59 PM

the world is a harsh brutal place and most people don't even know 1% of it. Most people are aware of this, they simply prefer to live in their bubble because there's no point in stressing about things you can't change

Because only one person does not want sex. It's one thing if someone had no interest in sex in general, it's an entirely different issue if they only don't want sex with their partner

It's only when you get into the 8+ category (and this can be relative to location - a Midwest "8" can look different than an LA "8") that men tend to have the advantage. Can you explain this more? Are you saying there more 8's in LA so they are common and less valuable?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/22 03:21 PM

This might be true for a small handful of men, but they would be the exception abd not the rule.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/22 03:19 PM

Most of that would depend on what was agreed before marriage. What I'm getting from the responses in this post is that couples should discuss this stuff in detail before marriage, and come to an agreement about minimum standards and expectations
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 11:42 PM

and much much more damaging than someone simply being sexually incompatible with you. Why do you say that? The dilemma is that they were sexually compatible, but one partner changed
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 11:39 PM

That's probably what most people in the situation should do once they've had enough of being neglected. Hopefully it would make their partner realize how shitty they are being made to feel.

If my spouse couldn’t or wasn’t willing to have sex for a significant period, and they weren’t willing to allow me to be ethically non-monogamous, then I’d leave. I understood that, hence my last comment.

I already did
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 11:04 PM

Yeah, that's the attitude of most women who don't care about sex, regardless of how miserable their husbands are.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 10:05 PM

It's a moral dilemma. Not an issue I'm having myself.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 09:18 PM

Okay, now can you address the moral dilemma in my post?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 09:16 PM

Why bother getting married if that's your attitude about it?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 09:14 PM

Why would she care, she's the one who doesn't want sex
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 09:13 PM

Can you explain why?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 09:13 PM

This is a hypothetical debate, it's not about me personally.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 09:12 PM
1

That's Another one where I don't see the appeal
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 09:02 PM
0

Well a perfectly logical solution is for the other party to start having sex again.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 08:48 PM
1

My question in my post is Why should it be considered cheating if the other person doesn't want sex anyway. You're not giving someone else something your partner desires/wants, you're not neglecting their needs, and if anything you're giving them an easy out from their own nelgect.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 08:37 PM

No one just stops wanting Sex with someone they love there this is the big issue with your example. Visit r/deadbedrooms this is extremely common.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 08:35 PM
1

So, I'll ask again, why the mental gymnastics to justify hurting someone else? It's a hypothetical to discuss a moral dilemma. So, I'll ask again, why the mental gymnastics to justify hurting someone else? And again, why should they feel hurt? They should possibly be grateful that they get all the benefits while getting an out for their neglect of their partner
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 08:34 PM
1

You don’t stay in an unhappy situation or with someone who doesn’t respect you even if you are married you leave For those who believe in marriage that's not how it works. In your example it’s been a year of no sex for this couple have they talked about why the person doesn’t want sex or isn’t interested? The one being neglected had tried.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 08:32 PM
1

Well in reality why should they care if they didn't want sex anyway?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 08:18 PM
1

Was the no sex mutually agreed upon? Usually not
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 08:17 PM

Ideally yes, but most people aren't okay with an open relationship on one side only
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 08:16 PM

Why is it on the neglected person? Why doesn't the other person leave?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 06:19 PM

Well you can't imprison someone for hurting your feelings, so maybe focusing on what crime they committed is a better option?

/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 05:13 PM

So do you want and expect your wife to have sex with you even when she won’t enjoy it? Sometimes yes, as she does enjoy it once it starts, and likewise I'll have sex with her when I'm not in the mood as I enjoy it once it starts.

I doubt any woman would be like “I expect my husband to never have sex again”. Take a peek at r/deadbedrooms. And no, as ex therapist would agree that if a woman previously enjoyed sex, and then suddenly doesn’t, something changed. Find out what changed. They'll all tell you the same thing, it's a responsive sexual desire that's the problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 05:06 PM

The fact that the partner doesn't want sex is irrelevant in regard to the definition of infidelity. Wouldn't it be a form of infidelity if one person no longer wants sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 05:02 PM

Women want sex with their partner just as much as men do. If she previously enjoyed having sex with him, and suddenly doesn’t, then something changed. Every sex therapist will tell you that this usually isn't true. What if she stopped having sex with you because you weren’t giving her the emotional and romantic things she needed to feel safe enough to have sex with you? The she should tell him that's the reason and have sex when he does those things. Please tell me what’s the harm in asking for …

How is calling a baby a baby, the same as calling a baby an adult? Weirdly enough, we only talk about the right to life when talking about what claims a foetus apparently should have. Yet we aren't supposed to treat then as people in any other way. Curious.) We don't only talk about it that way. Plenty of people will say it's abuse to drink or take drugs while pregnant. How is entertaining the idea of banging someone else behind their SO's back "trying to honor vows"? They're stuck between a rock and a hard place. They're in an impossible dilemma.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 04:49 PM

I won't remain friends with cheaters who cannot take responsibility because I don't want to be friends with people who cannot take accountability or responsibility for their actions. Curious, will you remain friends with people who cause the cheating by denying their partners sex? Do you hold them to the same standard and say "If you don't want sex then you should leave, stop making them miserable, that's just cruel and evil". If not, why not?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 04:39 PM

No one is suggesting jumping straight to infidelity. My post was: Should it really be considered cheating if one person doesn't want sex anyway?

and move toward an amicable divorce rather than her finding out you humiliated and betrayed her by cheating? Why would she feel humiliated or betrayed if she didn't want sex? People do not just stop having sex for no reason. You need to realize that. Women enjoy sex. If she was enjoying sex with you, then suddenly isn’t, then something is wrong. You're in for a very rude awakening. The number one complaint I hear from all my male friends is the frequency of sex dying in their relationship/marria…

Because they made a commitment and vows, and they are trying to do the best they can to honour those vows. From my short time on this sub I'm starting to realize that 80%+ of women initating divorces is exactly because they don't mean the vows they take.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 04:29 PM

If they aren't having sex, then the relationship isn't sexual.

/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 04:26 PM

Why are you so stuck on cheating when you can just leave a relationship with a woman that, according to you, has no interest in sleeping with you? I should probably have made the post soley about married couples. Cheating is wrong. You can just leave the relationship or ask her to open in. No need to lie. I'm starting to understand more that this really is women's attitude. It's no wonder 80%+ of divorces are initiated by women
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 04:24 PM

Is it the fear they might exercise their right to leave? Absolutely

mo·nog·a·mous /məˈnäɡəməs/ adjective involving marriage to one person at a time. "under Canadian law all marriages must be monogamous" having a sexual relationship with only one partner at a time. "she admits that she has never been strictly monogamous" ZOOLOGY having only one mate at a time. "penguins form monogamous couples for breeding purposes"
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 04:12 PM

So should we also pretend that one party denying the other sex should be consequenceless? Let's say your sisters/friends marriage ends because her husband asks for a divorce due to a sexless marriage. Who do you have the most sympathy for, the husband or the wife?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 04:11 PM

Cheating doesn’t fix the problem at any level. It fixes it on nearly every level. He's sexually happy, she's happy he's not nagging her or talking about it, and the marriage continues happily.

you can’t have a contract minimum because there are periods in life when both parties want sex less. If both don't want it, there's no issue. the solution is constant communication and both parties being equally invested in the other’s satisfaction and happiness. this would involve a lower libido (LL) partner understanding their partner’s needs as much as an HL partner does not want to compromise the LL partner’s boundaries. A monogamous relationship is surprise surprise defined by being monogamous, not by having sex. Monogamous: having a sexual relationship with only one partner at a time. If there's no sex in the marriage then it's not monogamous
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 03:54 PM

Why are you putting all the responsibility on the nan if she's the one who changed?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 03:52 PM

If her need is to not have sex, why does your need trump her need of bodily integrity? Well in my opinion it only matters if one party changes the status quo. If you entered into marriage when you had sexless relationship you shouldn't expect things to change and likewise if you entered into a marriage where sex was frequent you shouldn't expect that to change

My question is should it be considered cheating if the other person doesn't want sex anyway? If you desperately wanted/needed to watch The Batchelorette, but your partner doesn't, is it cheating if you watch it without him?

/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 03:14 PM

do you believe most women on this reddit are not agreeable and non argumentative? Yes, except it's argumentative (not non argumentative)
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 02:53 PM

If that's the case she should make that known to her partner before she commits. To be honest I've never understood men who don't care if their woman doesn't orgasm. If they don't care about it, then it's their own fault .
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 02:49 PM

Agreeable non argumentative ones
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 02:44 PM

Why? One person says "I don't want the baby, and won't support it". The other says "I don't want the baby so I'm going to kill it" Note: I'm only referring to "deadbeat dads" who are branded that way when they never wanted the kids from the beginning.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 02:42 PM

Why though? They aren't giving someone else something you want. They aren't denying you anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 02:33 PM

It’s probably because I’m a women and don’t have the sex drive men do. Must be horrible to have that level of sex drive. Imagine if you need 10 gallons of water a week to survive, but your spouse controls all the way we supply but only gives you 20% of what you need. I mean it does take her 20 minutes to fetch the water, so I guess it's understandable why she doesn't want to.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 02:32 PM

What baffles me is that so many women don't get it, and fail to realise the absolute power that they wield. A few years back one of my wifes friends was bitching that she noticed her husband is amazing to her and super attentive, helping with chores etc for about 2-3 days after they have sex, but then starts slacking off again. My wife basically told her that maybe she should just have sex more often. The friend wasn't having any of that.

Is it really cheating if the other person doesn't want sex anyway?

One of them hinges on a metaphysical claim about what a baby, or murder, is, the other doesn't. Not really, we can just the dictionary definitions. Even if you want to call if a fetus that's still a human baby.

There's a ginormous difference between a relationship and a marriage though.

Okay. If he's a deadbeat for not stepping up for a baby he never wanted. Is it fair to call her a baby murderer?

They want them and are willing to provide in return. The difference is in the level of standards. Women standards are often much, much higher than men's are though.

If that's the agreement I'd estimate 99% of men will follow it. From what I've seen men get tired of being rejected when they do fulfill their part. They take their women on dates and still don't get sex, so eventually they say "why the fuck do I bother anymore, there's nothing in it for me".
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 02:02 PM
2

Oh, is that something that you see men running away from? I am being serious. Do you honestly think it's okay for one person in a commited relationship to just say "no more sex" and still expect the relationship to be successful, or for their partner to remain 100% loyal?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 01:58 PM

In my experience yes most men want children, and they also want a partner who wants to be a loving mother and devote herself that life. It was certainly a major factor in why I fell in love with my wife. I.knew she'd be an amazing mom.

“Having sex” is not part of anyone’s vows. Staying monogamous however is. So who’s really breaking the vows. A man can leave a dead bedroom marriage if he wants to. I would support that honestly rather than cheating. Maybe that's the issue. Maybe women need to have sex written into the vows so they'll take it seriously that sex is an integral part of the relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 01:53 PM

How are they going to forego them? Well not having kids for one. I know a lot of men who would never have.had kids if they knew their wives expectations of what raising kids entails. Starve in an unhygenically dirty house where their children run around alone all day? Not starve, but yes eating less healthy easy to make food, and yes living in a more dirty home. I fail to see how they're not benefited by someone else taking care of them. I wasn't saying they don't benefit. I was saying they are …

He's willing to work on it, she's not. He still honours all his other vows and wants to engage in sex with her but she rejects him. Now what? Divorce again? It seems like you might be saying women are not as willing to stick by their vows, and see marriage.as something you can just throw away but men do not

Most of the women saying that in the other thread said they were higher income, actually. Their husbands will very often be willing to forego the benefits you are referring to, most women will not. Women do it mainly for their own benefit and their husbands just get to enjoy some benefits from it.

Men expect their desires to be fulfilled but then don’t fulfill the woman’s desires outside of the bedroom. If a woman makes those desires known, I can almost 100% guarantee you that their man will fulfill them in return for sex

Well if your partner doesn't want to have sex with you, and your choices are to abandon them or to seek what's missing elsewhere, many of not most men will see what I missing elsewhere and still devote the majority of their lives to their spouse and children

Married women are more likely to give up their free time, careers, money and happiness than married men, who often gain these things and just continue as normal without sacrificing much in marriage. How often are women doing this mainly for their husbands benefit? I don't think it's often. Women who give up those things usually do so because they want a different lifestyle or becuase of kids, not because of their husbands.

Men do not necessarily repress their emotions for not expressing them like women, though. They express them in other ways. Women lend too much credence to their personal emotions, but won’t extend that focus and attention onto their partner’s feelings. It’s an inherently unfair dynamic that is enforced by society’s prioritization of emotional needs over physical needs, especially (and sometimes exclusively) when it comes to women. A funny take on this is that women expect men to cater to their hormones once a month, but don't believe in catering to men's hormones

The reality is that most men would strongly prefer if you do take pride in your appearance. But that doesn't mean you need to go crazy high maintenance. I only ever dated two women who were crazy high maintenance and swore never to do it again. My wife only wears a little mascara and sometimes a small amount of makeup, and I prefer that. But she does have a very natural glow and in my opinion can pull off the no makeup look a lot easier than many people can.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 05:00 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 04:56 PM

I don't think they all like the drama, it's just a different way if processing their emotions.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 04:55 PM
10

I also think that venting can be very harmful: it can get you worked up rather than get things off your chest. It can make you double down and refuse to see your part. 100%. Personally I can't stand venting, to me it's just reliving the bad shit when you could just move on. Why torture yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 04:55 PM
11

Also make a plan how you can improve your situation regardless of the actions of others. If all you do is moan but take no steps to improve your situation people become less inclined to sympathise with you. I agree, but in my experience that's more of a male approach to things. I think it's why so many men struggle with listening to women vent. Many men don't understand why you would ever want to vent if you're not looking for a solution.

She came to the beach with us last Saturday morning and it was probably the least fun I've had on a Sunday morning with the kids and the dog in a year, because she was constantly stressing about both the kids and the dog. Her "standards" are …

Who is responsible for “defining their role”? The couple sit down and decide them together. My wife deals with all school stuff, and I deal with all extracurricular stuff for example. The other is often needed to attend certain appointments, but if my wife is needed at an extra curricular activity it's my job to make sure she knows about it and to remind her about it. She deals with playdate stuff during the week and I deal with it on weekends. We have two kids and we each take full ownership of…

For some people yes some of those things are considered too high of a standard. From what I've seen it usually boils down to a lack of dividing and conquering. Most men that I know would seriously prefer to have defined roles in this stuff vs having to think about it all the time. They'd be more than happy to take on a lot more if the expectation or roles were more clearly defined.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 02:36 AM

That depends on the person. In my experience a lot of men have resentment because they feel their wives standards are way too high, and a lot of wives have resentment because they feel they have to take on too much.

People can have very different views on what raising a child should look like, and very often times it's related to how they were raised. I lumped fluctuating desires into one category as to not confuse people further. A fluctuating desire is in my opinion a responsive desire if you want to simplify things. There's often no real life reason for a fluctuating desire other than hormones or stress, but that can still leave one party feeling very neglected. I was on some medication for about a year that pretty much destroyed my sex drive completely, and I would have been perfectly happy to have zero sex during that year. But I know my…

The resentment is something you need to talk to her about. She needs to understand how you are feeling. Do you guys get a date night weekly? If not is that something you could organize? Another thing that might massively help is a vacation for just the two of you, even just a weekend or one night away (not on your own home). And alone time could massively help things. On the weekends make sure she gets at least 3-4 hours for herself in one big chunk, take the kids out so she can have time to herself (not spent catching up on chores) to go out somewhere or see friends.

Is she aware of the fact that she has a responsive desire, and is she aware of how important sex is to you in your relationship? It's defintely a common issue after kids come along as many women don't feel as sexy anymore, and they can be over stimulated with physical touch by the kids. Unfortunately resolving this takes a lot of communication and understanding from both parties. Also the longer she goes without frequent sex, the harder it will be for her to want it again.

You're correct and it's a large part of why Jordan Peterson became so popular amongst many young men. Personally I'd hate to be a man in the 15-30 age range right now (I'm mid 40's). There's far too much confusing messaging, and it's leaving way too many young men feeling lost and misunderstood.

From what I've seen with Peterson he took on way too much, and let the negativity and constant attacks get to him in a way he never thought was possible. He seems to take it very personally when he can't help people, and he's an incredibly empathetic person. As for the Benzos thing, let's be real here. If you or I were addicted to a certain drug and had both the knowledge and the money to not have to go through weeks of pain and agony from withdrawal we would also have chosen the route he did to…

I think the reason he became such an "institution" is that he was needed by many men who were or are feeling lost in todays society. You and I might have gotten through things "normally" but that doesn't mean everyone else was so lucky. He talked to men in a way that resonates with men, which unfortunately is in a way that alienates many women (which is part of why he's often very unpopular with women). The gym is defintely helpful but it's only one part of many different things needed to stay h…

I think you're overlooking that he's been a clinical psychologist for decades and has literally seen it all. He's seen every type of suffering, and has seen how badly some people are struggling to fit into our modern society. He's just in touch with his feelings, and has a very high EQ, that's going to overwhelm him with emotion from time to time as he thinks about people he helped or tried to help and couldn't.

Fashion is a different take as men's clothes are cut not cut to shape men. That's not true, you can buy clothes that fit your body type better, or get your clothes tailored, most men just couldn't be bothered. But plenty of gay men, and metrosexual men do wear clothes that hug their bodies shape. It's just not as comfortable, and most men seem to prefer comfort over fashion. Men don't have shirts available that make their beer belly into abs, but woman have clothing that pulls a saggy overweight…

In my opinion most of these issues boil down to people not understanding what the differences between spontaneous and responsive sexual desire means. The majority of women (85%) have a responsive sexual desire. And a responsive sexual desire is a difficult thing to fully describe, because when there's a lot of new relationship energy (NRE) a person with a responsive sexual desire can appear to have a spontaneous desire. They have lots of hot sex at the beginning, but even if they stayed with the…

And why do you think that would be a bad thing for society?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/22 06:33 PM

I would never be in favour of restrictions on birth control, that would just lead to more abortions. I've watched a few justpearlythings videos and don't think she'd be in favour of restrictions on birth control access either. Most of her arguments aren't anti-women, she just likes pointing out the ridiculous double standards, and that society would be better of men and women both acknowledged their strengths and weaknesses and worked together as a team.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/22 06:32 PM

Do you mind clarifying a little further? If a woman is pansexual does that mean she would date both biological men, and biological women?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/22 06:27 PM
5

So would that mean that in society we are constantly comparing the ideal female form with male regular form Not necessarily, plenty of men do try to also improve how they look, going to the gym, grooming, fashion etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/22 06:23 PM

Well mental/emotional labour can be far more difficult and stressful than manual labour. With other forms of labour like like manual it's easy to put it off until later, or once it's done to forget about it, but with emotional labour it's often constantly on your mind.

Isn't pansexual just bisexual with no standards?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/22 05:40 PM

Well I can't easily find stats on that. Most of what I can find is stats showing that the majority of women refuse to date a bisexual man, that's why I was surprised to hear you say that the vast majority of bisexual men are dating women.

Well personally I only know one bi man (or know one man who has admitted to being bi) and he's dating a man. I don't frequent LGBTQ spaces so I'm not well versed on the topic. Like I said, I don't deny what you said is probably true, I was just asking if you'd seen any studies on it.

The person straight up said suicidal women are just attention-seekers and you refuse to acknowledge that. My point was that it wasn't what he was originally talking about, you derailed the conversation and then they said that. Well perhaps if you engaged with what people are discussing instead of being so negative all the time about people's complaints then people would think differently. Why should it be a criminal offense? To protect women and young girls from predatory men. And what's stopping a predator from stalking someone and waiting a victim to be alone? Inside or outside the bathroom or changing room?

That will not stop unhinged people from trying and realize there's no one really stopping him. Other men can stop them. If I take my nieces to the bathroom and wait outside, you can be assured that I will stop any men trying to enter from doing so. Most public bathrooms are not vaccant, there would be a bunch of women there also able to stop the guy until he has a weapon. Not sure what you're saying here

There's no security at a public bathroom, what's to stop them from doing so with or without trans women being allowed in women's bathrooms? Well other men can stop them for one. No one denies shitty men exist, the issue is that the way you talk you lump any men with complaints into the shitty men category. E.g. just from early today, you said something like not being on a relationship isn't being lonely and with the rest of your comments you lumped those men complaining in with shitty men. Yes men don't give as much of as a shit as they don't see anything to fear. They don't fear a woman overpowering them. Ciswomen can do that too and it would still be against the law. The "wall" is certainly not at 24. It might be where most women peak in terms of looks youth wise, but it's definitely not a wall. There are also plenty of women who don't necessarily peak at that age as they might have been overweight or might not have grown into themselves fully while in their early 20's. My advice is to not listen to this stuff, as most women nowadays are not looking for a life partner at age 20-25.

It wasn't one wacky study. There has been several studies done and they all got the same results. Are you seriously arguing against fact and statistics with your anecdotal evidence? That is entirely an assumption and wholly ignores context Correct but it's a valid assumption when seeking a life partner. It also doesn’t get at the other part here which is : if trauma should be a mark against a potential mate, why would a younger woman want an older (in your words, likely more traumatized by virtue of his age) man? I never stated anything about what she would want. The discussion was on why a man in his 30/40's would pursue a woman in her 20's. But since you bring it up, yes …
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/22 10:07 PM

I have a spontaneous desire too. That doesn't mean I didn't educate myself on what having a responsive desire entails. What if the woman you choose as a partner ends up having a responsive desire? (Remember that's 75% of all women). Unless she's experienced and aware of it, it won't really show up until after the honeymoon period is over. You could be dating 2 years at that point.

Why would a 30/40/and on up man still be pursuing 20 year olds? For the same reasons he'd pursue a woman his own age, except she'd be more youthful, more fertile, and have a lot less baggage and/or trauma.

That's irrelevant to the question I asked.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/22 07:52 PM

I said sexual/ relationship marketplace. For the vast majority of people sex is an important part of a relationship. My question to you once again (I'll phrase it differently) is: what do you think women in their 30's bring to the table that's greater than what women in the 20's bring to the table. (And please remember we're talking about things that men value).

/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/22 07:21 PM

Correct, 75% of men have a spontaneous desire vs only 15% of women do. That's what causes a lot of issues in relationships around sex. OP is simply saying you need to recognize this and address it.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/22 07:20 PM
2

The point is that if your partner wants it and you don't then it causes issues. If you are aware this is an issue and don't address it then it's hurtful to your partner. You just need to do some research on how a responsive desire works. But TLDR it's basically nothing more than recognizing what gets you in the mood , and then doing those things.

You're right. I think I don't trust he's being honest & I'm getting resentful & pushing him away. He's afraid to communicate because he thinks I'll get upset. Do you think there's truth in this? For the communication issues in fights try this Time to draw on the basic relationship skill of sharing negative feelings without attacking each other. Couples often get in to a trap where one person says "You always do this..." and the other person feels attacked. So, they immediately close up and get defensive and launch an attack of their own "Well, you always do that..." - and so it goes. An ever escalating war that proceeds to mutually assured destruction. Here is the key to breaking attack…

He lied in the beginning of our relationship about seeing other people (we weren't official but he lied) a few months ago & it's hard to trust him. He lied at the beginning and that was wrong, but it sounds like he's commited to you now. You either have to let this go or break up, holding onto this will just destroy your relationship. But his phone is always on silent & he mutes his texts. I do feel like I get mad at him for little things and I'm resentful because I don't know if I can trust him…

/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/22 05:22 PM

That depends on what you're constantly fighting about. In my experience most fighting in a relationship is usually a result of someone feeling unappreciated or unheard. Another huge issue is that most people never learn how to "fight" properly in a relationship. It's supposed to be both of you working together against the problem, not fighting to win or lose, or to prove the other person is right or wrong.

The guy in the post you linked is doing what I would refer to as casual dating or dating casually. There's nothing wrong with that at all, EXCEPT that he's calling it FWB. If he's taking these ladies out to dinner and on dates, then they are casually dating vs FWB, or serious dating. I break it down into 3 categories. FWB, also known as a booty call or fuck buddies. Usually there's no exclusivity, unless it's been discussed. Casual dating, which can involve dating for fun, companionship, being i…

I agree with you. It something that's always been somewhat of an issue, but I've noticed it's getting much worse over time. I describe the phenomenon as Listening with the intent to respond vs listening with the intent to understand and then respond. The issue here is that when you listen with the intent to respond, then you're not actually listening ( thinking about what they are trying to say). What you're doing is formulating your response while they are talking.

There's zero chance I would have been able to have the success I've had in all areas of my life without my wifes assistantance and my friends say the same thing about their wives. The reality is that there's been several studies done on the dating lives of bisexual men. The same results are produced every time it's a minimum of 65% of women who say they could never date a bisexual man, and in some studies it was 82%. It's an insecurity issue though, and not biphobia.

and she secretly believed she could change his mind. And the issue is that he's damn well aware of this and takes what she's offering knowing he'll hurt her. You see this a lot when couples have different life goals such as kids. Like she wants kids and he doesn't. She hangs on hoping he'll change his mind, and he wastes her youth knowing he'll never change her mind. If he was a good person he'd end it knowing that she's not strong enough to.

It's not about keeping score. It's about both parties understanding each others minimum standards/expectations and meeting them, and both parties giving praise and appreciation when their partner goes above those expectations. It can be as simple as recognizing the effort someone put in, even if they didn't give you exactly what you wanted. E.g. you agree to pick your partner up after a night out, and your partner being super pissed off that you were 5 minutes late.

I should clarify that I was referring to you reading the book to help you understand and relate to other peoples needs. The love languages themselves aren't a real thing, they are just a communication tool for people with a low EQ

Could it possibly be that because you don't have a need for sex, that you can't comprehend that there are people who do? There a little book called The 5 Love Languages. It's a great book to explain how you can learn to relate to these things.

No one denies shitty men exist. I'd estimate 15% of men are shitty, and another 10% are a little less shitty, but 75% of men are good men. You talk as if ALL men are shitty.

Putting a dick in a vagina is not socializing nor is it a need. I asked about a basic human need for companionship not "putting a dick in a vagina". Do you really think someone wanting a new phone is anything close to being similar to a need for companionship? You can find companionship without whipping your dick out. Why do you keep bringing up dicks? It's got nothing to do with the question posed. Like I said, I address what you say, you just dont like my answers. Not at all. You're not addres…

I didn't say that. Please address the actual questions I asked you. Humans are social creatures and the majority crave companionship. Are you denying this basic need? Do you really think someone wanting a new phone is anything close to being similar to a need for companionship?

One thing I didn't really know was just how many women truly hate men. There's quite a few women on this sub who refuse to accept men's opinions on other men, and prefer to assume nearly all mens actions are based on maliciousness.

What you think of men: I need sex to feel loved! Yep What you also think of men: I will have sex with women I don't love and betray the woman who loves me! Yep, if his needs aren't being met. First of all, needs are something for survival. Which is food, water, and shelter. For physical survival yes. Second of all, needs are things you would require since coming out the womb: Like food, water, and shelter. Again yes. I can't tell if you're purposely playing stupid on not understanding that peopl…

Women in relationship provide cleaning, emotional support, generally handling the life of their partner, raising the children, organisation, etc. I completely agree with you, except possibly on the emotional support part. My question to you is are those things she values or things he values? Are they things she would do anyway if he wasn't involved?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 10:24 PM

That is not how needs work. Please explain how they work then. Please enlighten me. Men cheat even when they do get sex. Studies show men cheat when the opportunity presents itself. Meaning, they cheat due to a lack of self control. Yes they cheat less intentionally and tend to cheat more if an opportunity presents itself. Does the research you quoted take into consideration the percentage of those men who aren't in healthy relationships? (FYI it doesn't). Here's a quick way to tell sex isn't a …

And in another comment you said i’d be okay with him being close friends with people he was already friends with before our relationship started. his roommate was a girl when we first started dating. i’d feel weird about new female best friends. Do you not realise that you yourself put men in a catch 22? He's damned if he doesn't want female friends, and he's damned if he does.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 10:08 PM

And again I think you're looking at it incorrectly. The issue in my opinion is that most men are self aware enough to know that physical attraction can become an issue. As you put it "the juice isn't worth the squeeze", which here means the "emotional tampon" stuff isn't worth it when there's no reward for it, or that if they already have a partner, they know they could be putting themselves in a dangerous position.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 10:02 PM

Sure, thousands of years ago too. My point was that once societies started becoming more civil, and we had much more "brain jobs" vs manual labour that height was not as important.

Some men being bitter (and rightfully so) about the current state of affairs when it comes to dating and relationships, doesn't mean they hate women. They're just hurt and tired. I personally feel a lot of empathy for young men nowadays, and I'm worried it will eventually cause some very, very serious problems for our modern civil societies. I'm also worried for the women of the future who will likely lose all the progress they've made over the last 100 years or so.

See there you go again. By agreeable I don't mean "saying whatever makes men happy", I mean agreeing when someone does make a valid point. /r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 06:14 PM

The transactional aspect is implied. What I hoped to start a discussion on, is that more people need to acknowledge these things and actually discuss them. Once you do your relationship will be infinitely better
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 06:11 PM
3

Even if they did they still wouldn't fully understand the dynamics. Of course she can participate in the discussions, but she should acknowledge that she's not a "normal" woman when it comes to heterosexual relationships, and the dynamics involved. Would you go on a lesbian sub and pretend to understand the dynamics of lesbian dating?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 06:09 PM
1

You answer questions as though you're a typical woman. Can you at least admit you don't like being agreeable, and you love arguing and causing drama? A lot of your responses often seem like you're intentionally trying to provoke a response
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 06:06 PM
1

Yes that's part of the whole "men and women being different". Women's libido ofen drops over time Also her libido doesn't have to drop too much. If she acknowledges she has a responsive sexual desire and acknowledges that sex is important in a relationship she can easily work on activating her responsive desire.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 05:59 PM
1

It's not hard to predict at all. Ask any woman you are close to. They know exactly what their true libido is. The honest ones will also admit that they engage in more sex at the beginning because it's expected. I will acknowledge that if she's never had a relationship for longer than 6 months that she might not know her own true libido level.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 05:57 PM
1

You are also very well aware that you are an extreme outlier when it comes to women. I'd say less.than 1% of women are similar to you, yet you answer as if you speak for regular women.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 05:54 PM
3

By attractive I meant physically
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 05:52 PM
1

You are. You answer as if you're single, and you just want to argue. Oh, lol
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 05:50 PM
1

That could just as easily go both ways. Why don't you, as a man concentrate only on high libido women? That's incorrect though. Men constantly complain that there sex lives were great at the beginning, but later (after the were emotionally invested) went downhill. A typical womans libido can easily seem to be high libido at the beginning, but her real libido reveals itself after the honeymoon period is over (that period can past 6 months to 2 years)
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 05:49 PM
1

Now you're getting to the meat of what I wanted to discuss in my post. You know most men you date want frequent sex, and need it to feel content with their partner. Knowing this, if you're low libido line 85% of women, why aren't you concentrating only on low libido men?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 05:06 PM
15

Men are more likely to say fuck that I rather be with the simple "uneducated" woman who's pleasant to be around. This is the part OP needs to understand better
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 04:58 PM
5

Height, high income, an emotionally available man, a man who takes interest in her hobbies, a man who doesn't want frequent sex, a man who will be an "equal" partner solely based on her version of equal.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 04:57 PM

That's fine, but it's most definitely not the norm for 99% of men. I don't think it's possible to change your view
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 04:55 PM

So it's not transactional. You have to agree to he terms of a transaction beforehand If you're in a relationship with a man you know damn well that one is the expectations is usually frequent regular sex. So yes, you did agree to the transaction
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 04:53 PM

It's a balancing act with everyone when you discuss politics. I seriously need to bite my tongue whenever talking to a younger person about politics. When I was dating I certainly preferred college educated women, but my point is that it's not a requirement, and it doesn't raise a woman status much. What most men want is a loyal, attractive women, who's fairly agreeable, takes care of them, and has frequent sex. Education and other similar things can certainly be a bonus if you're providing the other things. If you're not providing the other things no one give a shit about your degree.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 03:53 PM
1

That friend of mine associates a degree with intelligence in a woman That covers the better conversations. A woman who works is not a "career woman". A career woman would be a female lawyer who is obsessed with climbing the ladder If she went and got a degree she's much more likely to want a career.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 03:28 PM

How exactly is having a degree(ability to make money in real life) the same as being good in a video game which is useless in real life ? Because most men don't care too much about that, they don't place a lot of value on it (justim.j ecwomen don't place value on him being a good gamer). Pretty much all my friends have stay at home wives (or their wives work only because they want to) , and the ones who don't aren't in the happiest of relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 03:15 PM

Depends on the man, but for most I'd say it's a preference not a requirement.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 03:10 PM

Because it's true. If you're going behind their back to get your needs met, then you're doing that because you do still love them despite the fact that they are no longer satisfying your needs or holding up their end of the bargain.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 03:08 PM
2

But you don't understand the dynamics if you don't date men.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 03:03 PM
1

It's not that men don't want them. It's more about the fact that it's not a requirement, and doesn't really add anything to the womans value in terms of what she brings to the table. Try thinking of it this way: let's say you meet a guy and find out he's a level 8 Mage on Fornite. Does that add value for you in terms of what he brings to the table?

In my opinion the love languages are really just a communication tool to help people with different needs to understand one another, and provide what each person needs. You'd fuck or try to date a female friend after a traumatic experience or when no one else in your life showed you support? Got it. How on earth did you get that takeaway from my last response?? As per usual males on average are only capable of putting themselves in thr shoes of other men The same applies to both sexes as the thought processes are a little different. I'd consider myself to have quite a high level of EQ compared to most, but I still struggle to put myself in a womans shoes someti…

The difference between men and women is the socilization where men lack emotional intelligence or social awareness. I 100% disagree. I'd estimate it counts for 10% of the differences at the very most. Men on average have no ability to self reflect and have no emotional intelligence. I'd say it's the exact same for the majority of women. But that depends on how you define self reflecting and EQ. Funny how the more "logical" sex publicity displays their lack of emotional and social intelligence co…

To me it's really boils down to how close we are and how much trust there is between us. In really only have 3 best friends (aside from my wife), and interestingly enough one from each childhood, high school, and university. Those are the guys I can 100% trust with anything, and could open up to about my Deepest or darkest emotions, with zero fear of being judged. Two examples are that one friend was getting divorced, needed funds so I lent him 50k no questions asked. Another is that I had a med…

Sex every other day is high libido. But I get what you mean by mid libido here.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/22 10:50 PM

I get that. My point was that there is different levels of friendship. I'd pretty much rank my friends on the following order. Best Friends Friends Group Friends Spousal friends Colleagues Aquaintances They're all friends, I just have a different level of closeness and intimacy (sharing private thoughts/emotions) with them.

Okay, so he's definitely in the minority of men (25%) that are low libido.

Your comment just further illustrates that reality. Nearly 100 men who claimed to be friend couldn't have actually magically fallen in love with me after truamtic or events or because I showed up when no one else did. Sure they could. That's how most men work. To me it sounds like you aren't acknowledging that the differences between men and women are not a social construct for the most part.

We're in "friend mode" about 80% of the time, sex is only a few times a month. That's your perspective. I can almost 100% guarantee you that the guy you are FWB with would be happy for it to be 80% sex and 20% friendship

If people used it as a tool to understand certain relationship dynamics better, then TRP would be much better. The problem is that many if not most redpillers seem to make it black and white.

No, not true friendship You don't believe in friends with benefits? That's sex buddies, they're with you for the sex. The friendship is secondary.

I've had enough ex male friends during my life time who told me that they weren't attracted or interested in me but fell in love with me because of what i did for them and because ot how I made them feel. Yes, attraction can grow. Guys know that, and it's why they are often insecure with their GFs making close male friends. Basically they start to overlook that they don't find you physically attractive, and the feelings they have start to make them physically attracted. And all of my female frie…

Therein lies the difference. This is clearly a communication issue. When men talk about not being friends with women, they mean close one on one friends, not group friends. I guess it depends on if you "rank" your friends or not. Personally I don't consider group friends to be "real" friends for example, they are group friends.

No, why would it? Because if they were only interested in friendship they wouldn't fuck you if given the chance. I noticed you didn't include my 40%...why is that? Because only 15% of women have a spontaneous desire, and therefore most women wouldn't act on it given the chance or not.

I think some of what you said here is fairly accurate. But I don't agree with your conclusions. So when women offer genuine emotional/mental intimacy the automatically process that inherit affection as romantic/sexual love, This I disagree with some what. It's more to do with "why" would you go there without there being a desire for a romantic relationship. since men are socialized to have zero emotional intelligence While some of it is socialization, I don't think that's the main cause of our l…

Personally I think it fairly normal that they want to get reassure that they're making the right decision, and frequenting those subs or whatever, cements their thoughts that the decision they made was the right one. I have one friend that we joke is like Leonardo DiCaprio. That's true. I wish the mods had allowed me to post it, as I do think it's a huge part relationships/friendships that people in general do overlook. I find this to be especially true in romantic relationships where it's not fun or sexy or whatever to discuss things in transactional terms. Personally once my wife and I divided and conquered on the vast majority of chores and expectations our marriage went from great to bloody fantastic very quickly. It's really nothing more than both of us saying…

How many of them do meet up with frequently (say 3-4 times a year) just the two of you? How many of them do you text regularly? (Again one on one, not group texts)

How many of those make friends do you think would have sex with you if you offered it up on a platter?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/22 08:59 PM

Possibly. I know a few men who I guess would be considered MGTOW. They're basically just "done" with playing mind games and relationship games, and they've gotten to an age where they just don't want to deal with it anymore. They're so burnt out from bad relationships that they don't see any point in even trying anymore. They just don't see the benefits. It probably doesn't help when the see many guys in the group divorcing and/or complaining about their own relationships.

I should also add that the solution to responsive desire is to recognize that's what you have. Recognize what gets you in the mood for sex and then start doing those things. E.g. let's say you have a high libido partner and you know he's taking you on a date tonight, and you know he'd probably love to have sex at the end of the night. Then during the day you can both do the things needed to get your "engine" going, being flirty, sexy little messages, some physical touch, grooming yourself in exp…

Not at all. A spontaneous desire is high libido, and a responsive desire is low libido. This often times becomes a huge issue in long term relationships becuase during the honeymoon period when there's loads of new relationship energy a person with a responsive sexual desire (or low libido) can appear to have a spontaneous desire (high libido). But their true desire only reveals itself when the honeymoon period is over. Then one party if left wondering why the other doesn't desire them like they…

Because you clearly don't have a spontaneous desire. A spontaneous desire basically means you're pretty much up for sex at any time. Have you ever seen any of those teasing tiktok videos or YouTube shorts? The ones where a woman puts her hair in a bun and acts like she's going to give the the guy a BJ, or she just walks in front of him naked when he's otherwise occupied (TV, gaming or whatever) and he's super excited. That's a spontaneous desire. He wasn't thinking about sex but when she offers …

I 100% agree. My problem is that even in friendships people often don't reciprocate enough. A classic example of this is if a friend vents to you way too much. At the beginning you might be more than happy to help your friend by listening, but sometimes you then become the default person they vent to, and that gets old fast when you don't feel they are bringing anything to the friendship.

one of the main issued in relationships is that what people give and take can't be measured "objectively" and subjective perception of fairness is more important. Conflicts start when partners have different views on their personal input and what they're getting Which is exactly why these things need to be discussed. Personally I've found that divide and conquer is the best strategy for the vast majority of chores etc. Thay way each person knows the minimum expectations. E.g. it's my role to dro…

Okay, so you likely have a responsive sexual desire. That unfortunately can often cause a lot of issues in a relationship. But there are plenty of ways to work around that.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/22 06:04 PM
1

That depends on the couple. These discussions are usually best had by starting in broad terms about what your minimum expectations are overall. If each person doesn't know exactly what the others minimum expectations are then how are they supposed to fulfill them? In general unspoken expectations breed resentment. The 5 Love languages book is an amazing tool to facilitate these discussions. Unfortunately most of those who talk about the love languages have never read the book, and don't understa…

I'm referring to the relationship as a whole not just to sex. One of my minimum expectations is that I only have sex that I want and enjoy. Question for clarification: are you saying you only want sex when he's willing to put in the effort to help you orgasm, or that you only want sex on your terms/when you're in the mood?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/22 05:58 PM

Most high libido men would want more in the morning. Like I said this is a fairly simple situation in my opinion. It can be solved simply by asking him how often he ideally wants sex. It's unfortunate that most people dance around the subject
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/22 05:55 PM
1

That's fair. I would have thought it's fairly simple for a woman to figure it out. It could be as simple as asking him (after you've had sex for a while), how often he ideally wants to have sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/22 05:46 PM
2

I agree. My point is that in my experience big relationship issues often arise precisely because one party isn't fulfilling the others minimum expectations. E.g. I provide ABC and in return expect DEF". This can even be as simple as one party not feeling praised or appreciated enough for their contribution. It can be something as small as a husband thanking and praising his SAHM wife on a daily or weekly basis for what she does vs "I work, so why should I praise you".
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/22 05:45 PM

The transactional part I mentioned. It's not a "sexy" way to think about it, but it's reality. The transition here being "He wined, dined and wooed you" (what she wanted) and now he wants sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/22 05:40 PM

I'm curious, are you dating low libido men? They aren't the majority but it's estimated that 25% of men like 85% of women have a responsive desire.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/22 05:38 PM

Not necessarily. If you compared her to a woman of the same age that just didn't get married but did have very long term relationships, I wouldn't see any issues. But if you're comparing her to a woman of the same age with no dating experience that's different. In my experience any woman I have met who hasn't had at least one serious long term relationship by age 35 has a good reason for that (usually some negative personality traits).

Tried to make a post on this but it wasn't allowed. Hopefully it can be discussed here. CMV, All relationships are transactional when you boil it down. It doesn't matter whether it's FWB, a hookup, a casual relationship, a serious relationship or a marriage, at the end of the day it's transactional. Sure there's love and deep feelings involved, but if you aren't engaging in fair transactions, then the love easily dies. 100%. I had a friend a while ago complaining about a massive decline in BJs in his relationship. Her #1 complaint was he didn't wash his dick enough. His arguement was that he showers daily so "it should be clean". When I told him that I wash my own dick with soap and water right after brushing my teeth at night any time I'm hoping for sex he thought it was the my ridiculous thing ever. I couldn't convince him that it was such a simple solution to his dilemma.

That's mainly due to 75% of men having a spontaneous sexual desire

Like why are we waiting for women to change? Not what I'm talking about. An example is the man picking up the tab for meals etc because he's getting laid later that night. But then he doesn't get laid. Hell most guys barely have the courage to approach a woman for a date. Because the chance of rejection is too high for many. I've seen men just stand by and watch a woman get assaulted on trains and do nothing. Not if it's his woman though. The deal is he protects his woman, not all women. Men sho…

So why then do men still complain that women aren't traditional? From what I've seen it's due to women still expecting men to be traditional, while not being traditional themselves. In my opinion relationships are inherently transactional when you boil it down, and if one party isn't doing their part then the balance feels off. https://www.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/yf5zvm/cmv_all_relationships_are_transactional_when_you/

I tried watching a few episodes of the show after seeing this post. While I agree that most of those couples should probably break up, I also think people are emotionally complicated.
