It doesn’t matter if you’re only referring to yourself this way. Bitch is a degrading term for a woman. By calling yourself one you’re demeaning yourself by equating yourself to a female, a lower being.

Bitch like is kind of a misogynistic term. I know I would be put off of dating someone who used phrases like that.

This exactly. My partner is more gregarious and extroverted than I am, and he takes care of the litter box, which is my least favorite chore. I wanted a partner that would complement me, and share the chore load.

I’m an introvert, and my husband is a gregarious extrovert. He gets me to get out of my comfort zone on occasion, and I convince him that staying in together is a good thing.

I am wildly in love with my partner, and still tease them about their celebrity crushes. It’s harmless, and I’m not threatened by it. My partner isn’t ogling them in front of me.

I was very comfortable around my future husband when we met because I knew he was bisexual. You said you lived in a conservative area? That may have something to do with it. I’m from a very liberal area, most of my friends are bisexual.

Something you might want to try. There are some good alt fashion subreddits you can get some ideas from. Seriously though, try to get out and see shows. You meet awesome people there, and people are inclined to be friendly because everyone is there to have a good time.

Do you have any flare to your style? Something that would make someone take a second glance at you? Having media in common helps. Get out. Go see some shows. Try meeting people outside of school.

Are you doing anything to make yourself stand out? As someone who’s been part of alternative subcultures since the 90’s, I tended to go for guys who were part of said subcultures, or people who stimulated my brain.

I have slept with both obese men and skinny men. So have most of the women in my friends group. No one would ever say such things about their partners. I’d check your sources because this does not ring true.

Then it may be time for therapy and meds. You can only do so much on your own to fix your mental health. CBT style therapy can help reframe your brain.

My husband is fat. I am smaller than he is. I fell in love with him because he was interesting, funny, and could keep up with me in conversation. He also gives amazing hugs, and is comfy to cuddle with. Have you tried working on your personality and not placing the blame for your lack of dating success on other people.

It was personality that drew me to my husband. We’ve been married 10 years, and neither one of us is really attractive. What made me fall for him was his smile and laugh, the fact that he really listened to me, and that he had a good heart. It made him completely attractive in my eyes.

As someone in the punk rock scene who’s a bit older - Do it! Playing music is freeing. The punk scene is pretty non-judgmental, and accepting of people being their authentic selves.

I’m rather ugly, my husband of ten years is bald, and obese. No one finds us attractive, yet we find each other incredibly attractive. Our personalities clicked, and the more time we spent together, the more attractive we became. Personality is the key to a successful relationship.

Objectively, neither my husband or I are attractive. I started to like him when we met the first time and he was wearing a tee-shirt of my favorite band. When we got to talking, I started to fall in love with his personality. The more I got to know him the more attractive he became to me.

My husband isn’t the most handsome man. He’s kind and gregarious. He gives the best hugs. He’s honest and loyal and my best friend. His qualities are what attracted me to him. His looks didn’t matter as much.

While I never really stopped hoping to find a partner, I had much more success when dating once I stopped caring about finding a partner. I know that doesn’t make much sense, but realizing that I would be okay and have a fulfilling life on my own helped my confidence in dating.

Ugly people date. I was tormented my whole life for being fat and ugly. Yet, somehow I’ve been married for ten years. It’s not your features. It’s your defeatist personality.

That is utter and total bullshit. Attraction works the same for both sexes. If you’re having a hard time dating then it’s time to look at yourself and see what you are offering. Misogyny and hate are never attractive.

I’ve been married nine years and my husband is two years younger than I am. I tease him all the time about me being an old lady, and how he’ll have to take care of me in my dotage. Don’t listen to the things in your head. Let your partner know you’re feeling insecure, and talk it out.

I’m married (nine years on Halloween), but spend a few days a week at my mom’s house to help her (she’s a disabled widow). My husband and I only have sex a few times a month, but we’re older and take mental health medications that affect our libido. It wouldn’t work for most people, but it works for us.

My nine years of being happily, and monogamously married says otherwise. I didn’t meet my husband until I was 34. I did date other people before I met him. I think you’re looking for a reason to hate women, and will be miserable no matter the answers you get.

My husband and I are in our 40’s, and while we have more evenings cuddling on the couch, than nights of torrid, passionate sex. We do have a sex life that works for us. Every couple as they age should find a way to make the relationship work.

For Christmas, I got stickers of Peter Steele, shirtless, with his hand stuck down his unzipped pants. Maybe there are less examples of women trading pictures on Reddit, because women’s sexuality is different than men’s. Peter Steele aside, my collection of erotic and romance novels would put peoples porn collections to shame. I get off on words, rather than images. Men can wear sexy clothes, I don’t understand why you don’t see that. Any clothes that make you feel sexy are sexy clothes. For my …

You have been told this numerous times, but as it infuriates me every time you set your fingers to keyboard, I’m going to tell you that you are wrong. Men are sexy. Women pass around images of sexy men just as much as men do the same. You say women have all this sexual value. What if women are tired of just being sexual objects? What if we want to be appreciated for our brains and accomplishments rather than just being some man’s fantasy?

I’m 5’2, and have dated men both taller and shorter than me. My current partner is taller than me, but almost every adult human is taller than me. Height really doesn’t matter. If you’re a dick head, I’m not going to date you, no matter what your height is.

It’s geared towards females with trauma. Every time I’ve done a DBT course, it’s been all women.

I’m not an attractive person. For years I was ashamed of my looks, and though people hated me because of it. After a nervous breakdown, I kind of stopped caring. I got visible tattoos, and dye my hair bright colors, wearing interesting clothes. Now when people stare at me, I assume it’s because they are looking at how fabulous I look. Fuck them if they don’t like your looks. You’ll never run into that cashier again. Why should you care what he thinks.

CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) is different from talk therapy. It helps you find the underlying causes, and what triggers your anxiety and other not so pleasant feelings. Once you know how to recognize those triggers, it makes things easier to handle. I did two courses of DBT (pretty much the same as CBT, but directed at women) and it helped me get a hold of my mental illness. Combine that with meds, and I’ve been stable for about seven years.

Your view of reality is warped. Actual women have told you their truths, and yet you refuse to listen. That level of cognitive dissonance points to mental health issues that are far above my pay grade.

I’ve never really had a casual relationship with a man. All of my relationships were pretty serious. All my ex’s ended up going bald. The most casual relationship I’ve ever been in was with a heavy guy, with a full head of hair. Why would I hold something that a person has no control over against them?

My husband is fat and bald. He also makes me laugh, takes care of me when I’m ill (I’m disabled), and is the kindest person I’ve ever met. Looks really don’t matter that much. What matters is how well your personalities meld.

That’s not true. My husband has a smaller penis. Guess what, he gets head a lot more often because it’s a hell of a lot easier to do on a smaller one. I also don’t have to worry about him hitting my cervix during sex. That’s just really painful and a way to kill fun time.

Truth is that red pill and black pill are cons. Red pill voices on line are many times looking to make a profit off of vulnerable guys who are having a hard time dating. By placing the blame on women, they absolve themselves of their own flaws. I’m an ugly old woman. I’m fat, I’m disabled, and not attractive in any way. I met my husband when I was 34 through online dating. I got married at 35. We’re going on nine years of marriage. My husband is not the most handsome fellow. He’s fat, and bald. …

I had a horrible time dating. When I was using online dating people would ask to meet with me, just to laugh at me when I showed up all dressed up. People would prank my profile all the time. It was High School bullshit all over again. It took 10 years of dating for me to meet my husband. I’m also severely mentally ill, so for my husband to even want to take on my fat, ugly, crazy ass is a miracle and a half. A secret fear is that he’s going to wake up one morning and realize how worthless I am,…

Depression can be caused by life, but it also can be a chemical imbalance that no one has control over. I’m married now, but that didn’t happen until I was 35. Before that I was a fat, ugly woman who was depressed. I’m still fat and ugly, but I have a partner who loves me and that makes all the difference. You need to stop rating woman on their looks, and instead concentrate on how the woman treats you.

My husband has a high body count, where I can count all of my partners on one hand. It shocked me a bit when I learned how high his count was, and I would have preferred someone who shared my views on casual sex. Obviously, I got over it because I married him. It’s in the past, and we are in a monogamous relationship.

See, I used to think the same thing about men. Men laughed at me, and made fun of me because of my looks. Once I did find someone to date, they cheated on me because I was too fat and ugly to fuck anymore. I thought all men wanted was a pretty person who would cook and clean for them. Turns out I was wrong. Once I started therapy, and started working on myself and improved my personality I started to get complements and find dates. I was wrong and can admit it. I’m not the only one. In my group of friends (granted we are all a fuck of a lot older than you) we have average looking people dating and marrying average looking people. Cherishing their loved ones for their personality. All those things you think women are are false. Maybe a few are like that. Seriously, most women want someone they can laugh with, and someone to share the responsibilities of creating a home together. Looks don’t matter as much as you think they do.

Seriously? I’m an ugly woman, and I’m old. I did not get married until I was 35. My husband isn’t the greatest looking guy, even though I think he’s attractive. He’s got a belly, and is bald. I can’t tell you how all men love, but I can tell you my Husband loves me. Even with sex being taken out of the picture. As my husband and I got older, sex became less and less important to our relationship (we’re in our 40’s). We hug, kiss, and snuggle, but it doesn’t lead to sex very often. He tells me he loves me, and shows his affection in little ways, by surprising me with treats, taking care of me when I’m sick, and doing chores around the house. I’m 43f, married for eight years to a guy with a much higher body count than mine. His number was under 100, and while it does not bother me, I was a bit taken back with how high it was. It did not stop me from continuing the relationship. I’m fact, I was a little jealous as my count can be counted on one hand. I kind of wish I had the confidence to have more fun in my 20’s.

Nope! That’s a lie. If I see a cute person, I’ll find my husband and point out their cuteness. He’s bisexual, and usually have the same taste as I do. Then we go home, cuddle on the couch, and go to bed. There is no one else I want to share a bed with.
