Don’t let them make you feel this way. They are horrible people who don’t just hate women, they hate other men and themselves especially. You are a worthy person that doesn’t deserve to get dragged down in all this.

Yeah I’m pretty sure that’s it. Women only exist as possible lays for them, and when we aren’t attractive enough for them then it’s our fault they aren’t having sex.

Hugh Jackman, Jason Momoa, Ryan Gosling, and Nick Offerman are married to or dated women much older than them. It can go both ways. There are also plenty of celebrities with small age gaps but they get less media attention because that’s not interesting to the tabloids. Women can be hot at any age, and men will be interested regardless of what lonely assholes on the internet are saying.

You’re right that those things are important to women, but it’s pretty condescending to think that women don’t understand that those are attractive qualities. Women here are always giving advice like “you need to work in yourself.” That’s not just a red pill idea.

I kind of agree. What about women who want to date men with fewer sexual partners? Is that problematic?

Nono, according to red pill logic, the alphas have children, but they abandon them, which makes them no less alpha. However, the single mothers who sacrifice their lives to atone for their mistakes are now worthless used up whores who should be shunned by society. Betas wish they could abandon their children, but they are too “nice,” so they settle for a woman and kids they can never love. Dude, how can anyone believe that garbage?

I want to add that men and women go to strip clubs for different reasons. I think that a lot men just really enjoy looking at naked women on a regular basis, whereas for whatever reason, women don’t like to look at naked men as much. You might notice that all the women going crazy on these videos are in groups, and are absolutely wasted. It’s something like a power trip. We are so used to being on the other end, that when there is an opportunity for us to objectify them some women just take it t…

This 100%. Strip shows for women are about entertainment, and the “lust” is mostly for show. For some reason - I don’t know why - the idea of strange men getting naked is funny to women. My friends brought me to a male strip club for my bachelorette (it was a gay strip club, because male strip clubs for women are just not popular enough to make money), and they got me a lap dance. I was so mortified, I told him to stop. It was weird and embarrassing. So yeah, I don’t think OP needs to worry abou…

Seriously. I have respect for the women who do this kind of work, but a lot of society does not. Imagine all the harassment they have to put up with online, and fallout they might experience from people they know out in the real world. It’s not easy and it’s not for everyone.

I think polyamory would always be exhausting. It takes a special type of person to be able to juggle their romantic affections between multiple partners their whole lives. It’s hard enough keeping a relationship going with one person. And jumping from relationship to relationship comes with a lot of baggage and takes a toll emotionally. Also, I didn’t mean to say there was anything wrong with women who use those apps, I just wanted to point out that there are lots of different types of women out…

Not all of us get tons of attention. Not all attention is good. Dating a lot of dudes is exhausting. Most people eventually just want someone to stay at home and watch TV with. There are lots of reasons. I was never the type to want to date around or sleep with a lot of people when I was young. I was always a romantic and just wanted to find one person to be with. Not every woman is the type that uses dating apps or has an only fans or a popular instagram account.

Redpill isn't "science" though. At best it's pseudoscience. It is dangerous because its proponents cherry pick dated studies, isolated statistics, and hearsay in order to support flawed hypotheses about human interactions. Additionlly, people cannot go out into the world and study their own relationship attempts objectively. An individual will always be biased, especially if they are already jaded by whatever echo chamber or YouTube personality they have been influenced by. Real science involvin…

TwoX can be pretty toxic imo. After delving into MGTOW, I found a lot of those same talking points being reflected back on that sub, but against men as a group. Sometimes there are good discussions, but a lot of the time it's stuff like, "My boyfriend got me the wrong shampoo at the grocery store. I think he's psychologically abusing me." Every time I would reply, like maybe you are overreacting, I'd get downvoted. I understand it's a popular sub, but it's still just another reddit echo chamber.…

Okay, "omega male" is a new one for me, and it's definitely not your problem. Your problem also isn't getting women, that would be the bottom of the list of things you need to figure out. I would first try and discover why people don't like you. This is probably why you can't keep a job. It is perfectly fine if you don't want to date someone who has been with more people than you. Everyone has made different lifestyle choices when it comes to that kind of thing and you might want to be with someone more like you. It only becomes problematic when there is a double standard surrounding promiscuity.

That's what I was thinking. Women wouldn't block you for just not talking to them. Isn't the point of blocking someone so that they won't talk to you? I'm guessing the red pill vibes are spilling into your daily interactions.

I have generalized anxiety disorder which manifested for a time as social anxiety and people would always tell me I seemed nervous or awkward. The more I focused on it, the worse it was. There just aren't too many insults that will really get under a guy's skin. Like I could call Andrew Tate a douche or a POS, but it still doesn't hit as hard as if some guy were to call me a c***. If insults are being traded like with Greta, saying a guy has a small dick, especially someone who claims to be an "alpha male," is probably the only thing that's going to bother him. I'm not sure what advice you're looking for. Do you want us to say, "Poor baby, those western women are so mean to you. We should oppress them more and take more rights away so that you can have an easier time." This is exredpill. I have been seeing younger women post about this a lot more lately and it makes me pretty sad. It's completely unfounded. I never see or hear women in their 30's or 40's complain about their age or how they are having trouble getting dates. In fact, if you ask most older women what their favorite age was, it's usually their 30's. In my own friend group, all my friends who are approaching their 40's and are single are men. Yeah I agree with you, there are definitely people who do not desire monogamy and do not want to stay with one person or raise children. I'm not saying that people have to be monogamous, I'm just trying to bring up alternate hypotheses about human relationship behavior. It's a complex subject so I don't think we can say definitely that "men are biologically driven to do x or y" because there are a number of reasons why humans act the way they do.

If he's a "sociopath," then that makes him an outlier, a person that does not have the same motivations as other humans. There are plenty of sociopaths that have done horrible things like genocide, does that mean this is something that all humans are naturally inclined to do on a regular basis?

It's really a very old generalization about dating that applies to both genders but has been manipulated by the redpill to apply to only women. It's the tendency in young people to form unstable relationships when they are young, and stable relationships when they are older. Redpill has distorted this behavior in a way that paints women as whores who change their minds about relationship goals when they "hit the wall" and will "settle" for men with money after the alphas have abandoned her. If your partner does not want this in any way, even if he grudgingly accepts it, it is wrong. Why hurt someone you care about just to have a casual fling? It's selfish and it's not worth it. Also, who has time for multiple relationships? Sounds exhausting.

That certainly makes it a lot less likely to be true. It also makes it not a fact, it just makes it the opinion of one single brainwashed man, which is neither scientific nor "common sense." I thought we were talking about science here, not feelings.

I think it's more like, men and women should be treated equally in this respect. It's really up to personal preference if you want a partner who has slept with a lot of people. Often times with redpill, you see men who are promiscuous judging women who are just like them, and making excuses why it's different for men and women.

I think this is a great idea, but I know I need to be careful about it. My mom forced me to go to therapy when I was a teenager because she thought I was depressed and doing drugs (I wasn't) so I really resented her and was totally against therapy for a long time. How can I normalize therapy being something that people can do to improve their lives?

I think I get what you're saying but it seems like a tough line to walk. I don't want to be one of those moms who nag at their child's appearance (my own mother is like this), but I also don't want to give them false confidence, or make them feel disappointed if they realize their mom always told them they were "handsome" when they aren't.

It definitely feels like an interview for women too, and online dating sucks for everyone. For me, I was always on the lookout for guys who only wanted to have sex, and would often get ghosted or rejected if I didn't put out. It's a horrible feeling. If you look at the statistics for most dating apps, the ratio of women to men has been widening considerably over the past 10 years, with many apps having 80% men and only 20% women (and it's probably even worse with all bots). I agree that therapy can greatly help, but not everyone can afford it. Hardly any insurance covers it in the US, and it's better to let it out with people you trust, than just hold it in or get advice from randos on the internet. Also, I don't think people need to go to therapy for every little problem. If I'm having a bad day, I don't need to go to a therapist, I just need to vent to someone.

Yeah, I personally really hate that phrase, "women are not therapists." People on twoxchromosomes are always going on about that like it's such a burden to have empathy for someone, especially since men often can't get that from their friends. Yeah, women don't have as much casual sex as men, because it's usually bad. That's why you find it so hard to get with a woman, and why dating apps are basically sausage fests, and also why men have lower standards. Also, standards don't just apply to looks, it could be someone's personally that turns women off, which happens a lot.

We're talking about different situations here. The scenario OP presented was one where he met a woman after she was done sleeping around, and seemed like she wanted a committed relationship. This is really interesting, and I haven't really thought of it this way before. Women are taught form an early age what to look out for, the "red flags" like aggression, narcissism, controlling behavior, and slovenliness. Men aren't taught about the things they need to look out for in women. A lot of men will just have standards like, "Good body, kind, pretty." Women don't have it on "easy mode." The only benefit to being a woman, if you can call it that, is that it's easy to have bad, meaningless sex with dudes who don't care about you, and that's only because a lot of men have low standards when it comes to sex. In other parts of life being a woman sucks. We are physically weaker than men, and less aggressive, so we always have that fear in the back of our minds that men will hurt us. One of the things red pill gets completely wrong is that sex is NOT a reward. It is incredibly solipsistic for men to think that women only exist with male interest or pleasure in mind and aren't having sex for themselves. There are a number of reasons why a woman would want to sleep around and then take it slow later on. For instance: Woman A sleeps with romantic partners on the first or second date. You have the option to live for yourself and be happy in whatever way you want. It is not immoral or necessary to even have children at all. There are other ways to contribute to society or find meaning. We are all in this together. If you need to look at it from a utilitarian point of view, there are plenty of arguments to be made that infertile women are useful contributor…

I have this same problem and it's kind of a joke how bad my stories are when I'm speaking out loud. I have just learned to be concise and ask other people questions so we can have a conversation. I think a lot of people actually like this. Everyone wants to be asked questions and listened to instead of dealing with people who are just waiting to tell their story.

People try to help each other here all the time. This comment was made just yesterday on a post about a guy who was struggling with the repercussions of his actions with a girl he was seeing: "It’s good you that you can see your behavior was toxic and that you are courageous enough to word it with clarity and also that you have the intent to change. Don’t fall into the trap of self hatred because it’s a pathway to even more toxic behaviors, you have to forgive yourself. I think you should tell h…

It's usually considered a soft science but that doesn't make it an invalid field. There are many types of methodologies used to study human behavior, and as long as we look at these studies critically, we can learn a lot about ourselves. I'm not saying soft sciences are bad or any sub-fields within them can't provide valid evidence, it's just that a lot of time people interpret study results incorrectly, don't look at the methods used, and don't bother to see if a hypothesis has been reproduced …

I don't think psychology is invalid. I'm just making the point that you can't make black and white claims about some aspects of human behavior since the theories are always changing, as is appropriate for any science. Redpill adherents don't read the literature, or they don't read it critically, and often use some half-baked abstract to prove their point. It annoys me how they always claim "science" is on their side when they know nothing about the field of evolutionary psychology or how the sci…

It is not a scientific "fact." There are very few scientific facts, and hardly any that have to do with human behavior. These studies are usually conducted within the fields of soft sciences like anthropology, sociology, or psychology and it is difficult to provide indisputable observations for human motives. Our behaviors are complex, just like our interactions with each other and are not driven purely by biological instinct, so theories change and are modified all the time.

That's the thing. No one cares if some men can't have sex. I care about things like men not being able to talk about their mental health and women not being able to get medical treatment if it harms an unborn fetus. There are tons of issues for people to worry about and a handful of men's sexual woes is waaay at the bottom of the list.

Unfortunately, the messaging coming out of the redpill isn't, "Men's issues should be addressed," it's stuff like "Women are thots and liars and cannot be trusted," or "It is too hard for men to have sex these days, it's not fair!" That kind of stuff only resonates with self-absorbed people or other incels. There is always going to be pushback towards social reform. Women deserve an equal place in society just as men do, and we aren't going to go back to the kitchen and be forced into marriage a…

It could be a lot of things. They are jealous the woman had sex with someone and not them. They think it proves all women are irresponsible and make bad choices. They hate women and don't like to see boys raised by only women with no male influence. They see it as a degradation of society since women aren't forced to stay with men anymore. Here's a classic about the Toronto killer: “He was angry at God because women were rejecting him. The cure for that is enforced monogamy. That’s actually why monogamy emerges.” He thinks that if women aren't forced to marry, they will only go for "high status" men. Classic redpill mentality.

Women do not have it better. It is just different. Redpillers see the dating app statistics and use it to "prove" that women aren't lonely and that everything must be easier for us. Having sex with random strangers does not = happiness and it ESPECIALLY does not = relationships. There are just as many sad, lonely, unattractive, and socially awkward women out there as there are men. Yeah I think it's pretty simple. Women just don't want to have as much casual sex as men do. This could be because of biology, social stigmas against promiscuous women, or the greater risk involved for women.

The thing about your math that doesn't work out is that there is roughly an equal ratio of men to women in every country. How is it possible for all women to have hundreds of men lined up looking for a meaningful relationship with them? What is really happening is there are a bunch of guys on dating apps, and the vast majority just want to get laid and move on. It's cool for women who are just looking for a lay. But most women don't just want to have sloppy sex with a stranger, so because of this, we have to be more picky about who we choose to go out with, and it's the same reason why there are less women than men on dating apps.

I was just using that as an example. If I was smelly, or people found me annoying, or if I had some sort of weird tic - all those things would affect whether or not people liked me. I mean, ideally that would be great, but I don't think everyone wants to hear stuff like that. Maybe you do, but I know if someone told me they dumped me because my voice was annoying or I was too stupid, I would feel pretty bad, and it might put me off of dating altogether. Also, everyone has different preferences. Too far for one person who is incredibly picky might not necessarily mean that I am fat. So what if I'm a woman and I'm monogamous, kind, attractive and caring, but I also have severe depression and most men can't handle that. Just being those three thing doesn't = compatability. Just like you could be an attractive man who is kind and funny (like many women will tell you they like) and still not find a date because there is a detail you overlooked like not wearing deodorant. Having those traits helps but it does not automatically mean you can easily get a relationship.
/r/ExRedPill07/02/22 09:30 PM

No one on the internet is going to be able to give you generic advice if you have personal issues you need to work through. They don't know you. They don't know what you are going through. You need a therapist for that. Generally, Google searching "how to attract women" and reading reddit responses or watching YouTube videos is not going to help you if you are a chronic liar or have some sort of toxic personality flaw that turns people off.

I just read all these men complaining about how much they hate that they can't get sex right away, and how awful that is. Like, what about the emotional investment in a relationship. Isn't that important too? You are going to have sex eventually, what is so hard about waiting a few dates?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/22 10:24 PM
0

Look, most women don't think of it that way and it is not coming from a place of manipulation or maliciousness. Most are not withholding sex from you to punish your or treat you poorly, we are just trying to protect ourselves from pick up artists or men who DO think of hookups as a game. If a woman really likes you she might want to take it slow so she doesn't get emotionally invested and hurt after the man gets what he wants from her.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/22 10:20 PM

Yeah but we aren't monkeys, and I hope you don't think we should behave that way. Human relationships are complicated, and like I said before, women don't tend to value sex as much as men do. Anyway, if all you care about is getting sex, then why care about having a real relationship in the first place? Just ditch the lady that doesn't put out on the first date and go on with your life

Those people are probably manipulative af or have some sort of charisma that pulls people in. Attraction isn't all about looks. There are plenty of good guys who are not that great looking but are funny and charismatic who get lots of attention from women, but we tend not to talk about them.

So you guys think that not having sex right away is being shit on? It's not that way for women, which I guess is where the confusion comes in. We aren't trying to punish people by not having sex with them, it doesn't feel like a reward for us. Dating isn't a game to women, to see who gets to have the most sex.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/22 10:34 PM

It depends on how good the guy is at lying and how attractive he is. If a woman is tricked into believing a man is a good person, cares about her, etc. or is psychologically manipulated in other ways, that isn't necessarily her fault. Both men and women are lied to and tricked by con artists every day. PUA techniques work. Now, do you want to be the kind of immoral person that manipulates and lies his way to getting what he wants? That's a bigger question to ask yourself, I think.

I agree and there is nothing wrong with not getting married or not dating if you don't want to take the risk if getting hurt or losing your money. I just don't like it when redpillers try and use statistics to make women look innately "bad" or untrustworthy, that's all.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/22 07:03 PM

I'm aware of the marriage statistics, but you guys never want to think about WHY these women are divorcing so often. Maybe it's because men are 50% more likely to cheat. Maybe it's because women are more likely to get burdended with more housework or childcare while working a full time job. Women are more likely to suffer from physical abuse. Women are clearly unhappy in their marriages. The "why" is a lot more subjective, but we can look at other statistics to try and figure that out.

I also think that dating apps are hurting our ability to communicate with each other in any meaningful way.

No one is complaining about whether or not the entire clitoris is removed or what the term "cutting" means when applied to a complex organ. You are just deflecting from the real problem. The fact of the matter is that when the clitoris is cut the intent is for women to experience less or no sexual pleasure. When a man's penis is circumcised, the intent is NOT to reduce sexual pleasure of the man, it comes from the misplaced notion that somehow male circumcision can reduce infection. Either way, …

Talking to people is how you get to know each other. If the first time I meet a guy, he's just going on about himself and how smart he is, I'm not going to care to continue the conversation. There is a phenomenon in human psychology that causes humans to see patterns after something has been pointed out to us, even if those patterns do not really exist. For instance, if someone told you that the number 23 was meaningful in some way, you might start noticing that number a lot more often. Of course, you are still seeing 23 as often as you were before, but now you are thinking about it. This is how conspiracy theories catch on, and how movements like the redpill gain traction.

Yeah and we are still perfectly capable of sustaining our species when two people of relatively the same age have children together. It makes sense in an evolutionary sense for a young man to form a relationship with a young woman because he is strong enough to provide for the children, and also there are less risks of birth complications. This is just common sense, but redpilled dudes love to convolute everything we know about human evolution and distort it to fit their messed up philosophy. Th…

Wow. Damn dude... You think grandma would get fed to the wolves because she has nothing to offer? That's pretty fucked up. Would you feed your grandma to wolves if society collapsed? Survival is about more than breeding. Humans are so successful because we can work together in a tribal unit, and yeah, that means grandma too because she probably has other skills and knowledge other than being a sex puppet. There are plenty of hunter gatherer societies that revere and respect older women. Get off …

Older men hit on younger girls all the time. It is usually unwanted. They come off as creepy, scary, or pathetic.

Just pick one thing to work on. Like, if you like smart women, maybe try to read more non-fiction, or study a language.

Would you want an ugly, lazy, boring, unhealthy girl with no money? Ask yourself what traits you want to see in a partner and work on that. There is no template.

Yeah like I just met my friends in college / work and no one I know is like that. I had a few friends who cheated on each other but they aren't my friends anymore.

If you are talking about cheating, then I get it. Cheating on your partner is bad and it's immoral to put someone you care about through that kind of heartbreak. But are you trying to say that it is somehow different when men cheat or when women cheat? Are you also suggesting that women cheat more than men, because THAT definitely isn't true. I'm not sure what point you are trying to make here.

If no one cared about what you said, then why is everyone here trying to calm you down and allay your concerns that this show is ruining society and women? Clearly it isn't, and a lot of women here are telling you they don't like this show, or watch this show, and don't care about massive shlongs. You said you didn't like this show, well I think most people think it is trash so we are actually mostly in agreement on that point.

Dude I fuckin hate movies and shows like the one you posted about and I don't know any woman in my friend group who would watch that stuff seriously. Women are not a monolith either. There are billions of women who have not seen that show or care to see it.

You don't necessarily have to wear a button up shirt, I was just using that as an example. I'm always attracted to men who look like they care about themselves and aren't slobs - it's a sign of personal well-being. A lot of guys don't put any effort into their appearance.

I think as far as personality goes, men are just as inconstant as women. Some men like nerdy women, some men like ditzy girls, some men like athletic women, and some men are into women who are sweet and shy. You look at those horrible dating games and you see a wide variety of personality types to choose from, because everyone has different tastes. However, I think there are a few things men can do that are universally attractive to a woman: - Be well-groomed. Go to a salon and get an attractive…

My husband had slept with a lot of girls before me and I honestly didn't like it. If he later told me that he was just being a dumbass and lied about it, I probably would just laugh, and maybe feel a little relieved. But all in all it's such a minor thing, and it doesn't affect me at all unless he had a bunch of stds he wasn't telling me about. Women really don't obsess about previous sexual encounters as much as men seem to, ESPECIALLY red pill men.

Getting stuff from having sex with men is not healthy behavior. Unless you are a sex worker whose livelihood is dependent on sex for money, and who is up front about those transactions, you set yourself up for potentially getting hurt or being stigmatized by other people. Most people don't see a woman who sleeps with men for power or gifts as someone who is admirable. Even if it was, this behavior comes with tons of complications. Once the man finds out he is being used, he might lash out at her…

Also I think a lot of the problem is Redpill men are looking to date younger women, and there will always be a wage disparity since younger people are far more likely to be broke and accept handouts from their partners.

There are tons of women who are financially independent and want to contribute equally. Just find one of those. On the other hand, if you want her to raise your kids and be a housewife, you have to be prepared to support your family financially.

I suppose that's true, and it is a problem that society tends to take male emotions less seriously. Young women have different problems like pressure put on us to be thin or look a certain way, which can lead to eating disorders, but at least we have better emotional support.

Let me tell you from personal experience, it sucks just as bad being a girl in high school and college who can't get a boyfriend. We just don't complain about it online all the time. I used to have a live journal to cry into that only like three people read, but that was about it. As a woman, people ignore you and you suffer in silence. Things got a lot better for me later on, but I was very shy and awkward in my early years and it was hard to get guys to like me. I think the red pill stuff appe…

Yeah, she is taking this aging thing way too hard. Getting older isn't bad.. so you won't look like a young girl anymore, big deal. You will have different qualities that make up an attractive, mature woman. Men will still find you desirable even in your mid 40s. If that's what you like, and it's important to you, just take care of yourself and your health, and the effects of aging aren't going to negatively impact your looks too much. Reading redpill propaganda coupled with this anxiety is not …

Truth. At least women are far less likely to go bald, and men will just as easily get fat and give up. It just depends on how well you take care of yourself.
