What you're describing is interesting. Enlightenment commonly leads to increased empathy of others, but also we develop an empathy for ourselves. We can look back and see through all our struggles, we were just looking for everything to be alright, for comfort. Empathy leads to forgiveness.

Many thanks, good luck. I'd assume you already have, but read Eckhart Tolle. Also this came up on trp recently: http://www.awakin.org/read/view.php?tid=970

For me, a key aspect was that I never stopped caring because I had never been emotionally reactive in the first place - I just realised this truth. A lot of successful unhappy people are bordering on this discovery themselves: their previous mindset was a placebo.
/r/TheRedPill10/08/15 10:05 AM
2

You're absolutely right, words just don't do it. I think everyone's enlightenment is relatively similar in that we all develop a peaceful, non reactive mindset. What differs is the beliefs that allow the person to develop the mindset. Example: one person could have faith in God giving them exactly the circumstances they need, and so develop peace. Another person could have faith that no external thing is 'good' or 'bad' and so develop peace.
/r/TheRedPill10/08/15 09:59 AM

That is the issue with this topic - words alone cannot communicate it. You can know something, and yet not really know it. For most people on here this post will do nothing for them, but hopefully one day they'll be able to get it. I agree, 'enlightenment' for me is essentially a suicidal outlook, just from a place of peace and happiness, not sadness.

If you can truly hold that mindset it will serve you well

The most important thing is the motivation behind content. If the motivation is to create value with knowledge in the trp community, which can absolutley figure with monetising, then thats good. The risk is that money becomes the dominant motivation behind content, which would be detrimental to the value of trp.

withdraw comfort and validation a little dread - talk favourably of other girls physiques subtly but positively show that you think she's too fat reward her going to the gym etc

I was speaking mainly in terms of sexual attraction, commitment being a separate issue. I like to see another guy with standards though, e.g a decent looking girl with a trashy accent might as well be a guy to me - no interest. Do you think attractiveness for men is any more fluid and changeable?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/15 09:58 AM
2

Experience. I always welcome opposing thought though, if you can convince me that a women can have meaningful love for me that'd be dope
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/15 06:43 PM

Oh, so it's as simple as you're more attractive to the 6 because your frame is stronger than it is with the 8?
/r/TheRedPill24/06/15 05:58 PM

Yes, I totally agree. Therefore the most romantic a natural relationship can be is 'I care about you but there's nothing you could do to particularly affect me.' Do you agree?

I never relate to this kind of thing - I haven't experienced a correlation between non attractiveness and sexual willingness or desire.

Guys who overvalue girls are not doing it for sex. The ones that are just looking for sex don't value a girls personality. Imo e.g friend zoned guys don't even think sexually about the girl.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/15 01:19 PM

Ok. Personally, I have never consciously tried to buy love in any way, I merely held a girl as a high priority and was open that she was very important to me

Trp doesn't advocate buying love with gifts and affection

Caring Bob was not needy, he just cared about the girl and showed it. imagine both bobs had 5 girls they were having sex with. Holding her as any kind of priority in your life

I think it's entirely normal for a girl to love someone who has power over her, and not love someone she has power over. Since female love is a perception of value and is based on emotions, it can change very quickly and isnt affected by the past in any way.

My ex gf, there you go. And she said that she loved me so much she couldn't do everyday things when things weren't good. (Then went from 100 to 0, comically at the same time as I showed I cared)

I used to want cute relationships with girls. Then I realised that to get to that situation I had to be/pretend to be someone that didn't want a cute relationship with them. It's unnatural for a man to be in a relationship with a girl who he truly values and places high on his list of priorities - because to do so is unattractive
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/15 09:36 PM

Didn't you just admit that women, as people, want people who don't want them?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/15 09:25 PM

Why is it not supported by the idea of natural selection, based on the premise of women being physically weaker than men, and having to raise children?

Bob here is the same person both times, just the first he is either more infatuated (cares more) or decides to show it. Do you really think that any expressin of valueing a girl is being a pussy?

So if a man is confident, dominant and successful, he could show that he cared about a girl as much as he liked and she wouldn't be any less attracted? Perhaps: that the only type of 'caring' that is unattractive to girls is that which is in fact indicative of low self esteem, or personal drive?

Emotionally those people have drives to reproduce, because if people didn't the species would die out. You are confusing logic and emotion - why would someones emotional drive to reproduce disapear if they logically knew anything? Not to mention, other people would have a decreased emotional drive to reproduce with an unhealthy person
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/15 11:25 AM

Laughter is an expression of emotion through behaviour. If someone cries, people see that they are upset and are driven to help them. If someone laughs, people see they are happy and value them
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/15 07:26 AM
1

Personally I definitely care about looks as well as a girls body
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/15 07:23 AM
1

I'm saying the opposite of your last line.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/15 09:04 PM
1

The main reason was that I have found it easy to change my behaviour to become much more attractive to women, to the point that I feel that logistics is pretty much the only thing I'm the way of any girl being in love with me. In my mind I made the leap that it was the same for other guys, then I thought: WAIT maybe my attractiveness is as innate as a girls looks, and I have just actualised it.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/15 08:11 PM
1

Exactly why I stated the premises. You are the first to criticise them, and that was an important part of my debate. Explain your view
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/15 08:08 PM
1

Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/15 08:07 PM
1

Women are not attracted to men that have power over them? That's the whole point of the post. I'm comparing looks and behaviour to decide whether or not men can more easily become more attractive than women can - testing the view that women have an assigned attractiveness that can't be changed, but men have fluid potential
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/15 07:47 PM
1

The two are related but are distinct
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/15 07:44 PM
1

For me: relationship standard is an 8+ who clearly has strong feelings for me, and doesn't have any turn offs - like being a slut. I agree with your point. So do you think women have an easier job being attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/15 07:42 PM
1

Power - I concur. So who has an easier job of becoming more attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/15 07:39 PM
1

Ugly is an exception - e.g so ugly that no amount of behaviour makes you attractive. Consider a 6/10 who's confident vs a 8/10 who's needy
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/15 07:37 PM

Voice exercises, posture exercises, meditation, social practice?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/15 07:36 PM

Consider this: Men judge women by health - their reproductive value Women judge men by their health (reproductive value) AND their survival value - how well they can protect them
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/15 07:35 PM
1

Interested in your opinion
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/15 07:33 PM

Looks are harder to change (can't) than behaviour is. I can take voice lessons to get a deeper voice, there's less an ugly girl can do to look better
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/15 07:30 PM
2

If you're a 10, anything about your personality will probably be cute to me. You'd have to be really annoying for me to lose attraction for you, and even then it's only commitment than goes.. sex is still on the table
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/15 07:10 PM
0

And this compares to men needing to be..?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/15 07:09 PM
0

Read what I said again - this is exactly the point I'm making: you can change your behaviour more easily than looks
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/15 07:08 PM
1

This is definitely a good point - taking care of your appearance can do wonders
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/15 07:06 PM

I totally agree about the opposition being weak. It's like if a genie gave me the power to win any fight - but to test it out I could only fight kids. Ex trp would seem to have the best potential, but I'm yet to find a post from anyone who really has anything useful to say, it's frustrating
/r/ExRedPill22/06/15 05:54 PM
-2

I think you'd be a good person to discuss stuff with because we have shared views (trp) and yet both seek to hear dissenting views: we are in search of the truth, and are not overly attached to one way of thinking. As yet, all this debating has done is to strengthen my convictions to trp, which is definitely of value.
/r/ExRedPill22/06/15 05:30 PM

I can treat women like garbage because they like it. If I was a girl, I'd probably be bp - If the only way I could get hard was if I felt like I didn't mean shit to someone, I'd be upset too.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/15 05:27 PM
0

Irrelevent to my discussion, other than for you to say that I'm right with my premise - the only thing you take exception to is arguments based on my premises.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/15 04:05 PM
0

'The reason we don't like your opinions is they're shit. The end.' 'The opposing view is that you're batshit.' = the best I got from a discussion with the bp moderators. I put up a purple pill post on biotruths, the result: some people said women were just as strong as men, some people called me a creationist for believing in natural selection (...), some people said emotions don't serve a purpose in our survival and reproduction. No real counter theories were introduced. Where do you stand with…
/r/ExRedPill22/06/15 04:00 PM

One thing about this - whatever you think is the line, her line is probably further along. (At least that's the case with me) A phrase I've heard a lot: 'fuck me like you hate me.'
/r/TheRedPill21/06/15 08:33 PM
0

You ARE saying that men and women would have different strategies then. They would HAVE to, unless men did not ever use their strength.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/15 07:07 PM
0

So men being physically superior had no bearing whatsoever on anything in the past? It didn't make them more dominant in society? Better at hunting?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/15 06:31 PM
0

So you accept that men and women would have had different strategies to survive and reproduce in the past?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/15 06:19 PM
0

But being strong DOES matter overall. The only opposition I'm getting is objections to my model being 100% - it doesn't need to be. Just because we have a few physical mutations that don't benefit us, doesn't mean our emotions don't benefit us. Just because not all strategy revolves around strength, doesn't mean that a good portion does - or did in the past.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/15 06:06 PM
0

Did you really just use a car in an example of strategies of living that have EVOLUTIONARY relevance?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/15 05:10 PM
0

EXACTLY. Our emotions that we have now are the ones that were efficient in survival and reproduction. Society was obviously crucial to survival. We're in agreement
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/15 02:48 PM
-1

Rp: men and women are different because of evolution and natural selection. Bp: nah that's a bio troof lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/15 02:34 PM
0

How can they not be backed up with science? The claim that emotions do not serve as beneficial to us is unconvincing, and claims that emotions are not involved with natural selection is also. Explain.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/15 02:24 PM
0

You think our emotions don't benefit us?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/15 01:23 PM
13

Yes! This guy could literally travel in time and he used it to get one girl in particular
/r/TheRedPill21/06/15 11:25 AM
0

You seem exactly the person I want to be in this discussion. I don't see how it is relevant to natural selection and evolution what behaviours are moral and what aren't. How would you say culture drives natural selection? Or are you saying that emotions are more the product of nuture than nature?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/15 07:57 AM
1

And yet many bp people argue against it. I didn't say evopsych was simple, I said what I had put forward was a tremendously simplified version of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/15 07:54 AM
0

I would say physicality definetely does affect strategy. In fighting, a strong person can use a strong persons strategy. A weak person will have to come up with a different strategy. And yes, I mean only to discuss in my mind what is the initial premise that trp flows from
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/15 07:52 AM

Clearly, it would be productive in deciding whether or not the premises were logical. Did you read my post?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 11:27 PM

Join the club, I've given you my best understanding - look at the other comments. Meanwhile, that 'black' woman thing is some crazy shit
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 11:07 PM

I'm not an expert on bp, hence why I made this post
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 11:01 PM
-1

To actually have a worthwhile debate on one particular topic. Instead of 'debate trp' as a post title - this is the fundemental premise that for me trp flows from
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 10:59 PM
0

Read the comments. E.g women like dominant guys because back in caveman days they got raped a lot and the ones that enjoyed it didn't get killed. (Controversial one - the point is bio truth = 'because of evolution'
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 10:54 PM
-2

Yes they interact, hence why this argument would lead towards saying that women and men have different logical capacities as well. The point of keeping it simple is to look just at each of my premises, and not get into too much else.. it gets complicated
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 10:52 PM
0

Rp use evolutionary psychology to argue that men and women are different, as I have very basically in the post. Bp argue against this, calling it a 'bio truth' - a view I have difficulty seeing how it can be held logically
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 10:47 PM
0

EMOTIONS are not more advanced than survive and reproduce. Capacity of logic is a separate issue
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 10:45 PM
0

100% children are afraid of bugs.. Mental illnesses are not emotions, they are specific cases of emotions going wrong People with horrible genes multiply everyday?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 10:43 PM
1

Just because something is useful, doesn't mean we have it. but just because we have it, I think generally does make it useful
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 10:41 PM
1

I feel like there was a lot more rape going on in caveman times
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 10:39 PM
-1

This is natural selection?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 10:36 PM
-1

To be honest, all thats needed to give credence to my view is natural selection making people who live with successful strategies pass on their genes
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 09:13 PM
2

Explain! This is good
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 09:12 PM
-1

I feel like I'm arguing the exact opposite of that second link, so I must be missing the point
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 09:11 PM
-1

Eye colour and hair colour do benefit us
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 09:06 PM

None taken. My key point is that emotions are not the same thing as gene codings
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 09:05 PM
1

A counter theory on the development of emotional drives?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 09:00 PM
-1

This is EXACTLY it
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 08:50 PM
1

Isn't not an argument, it's you saying you disagree - I already knew that. E.g 'Evopsych is pseudoscience' - WHY. It's the WHY that I'm interested in. I'm not rejecting a response, I do want one
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 08:48 PM
-1

You're right, I don't mean to say that men and women have entirely different emotions, just at this point to recognise a difference. As for strategies: Imagine fighting. A strong person can use a strategy based around strength. A weak man cannot, and so must create a strategy that doesn't use strength. In the same way, women would have to have a strategy that revolved around something other than physical strength - e.g societal cunning. Both men and women can experience "love" but it is likely t…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 08:40 PM

None of what you've said has any value. Try offering a counter theory or argument, that's what I'm interested in.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 08:35 PM

Yes, although it is my intended statement, and always has been
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 07:55 PM

So men and women were equal back in this society? Then why the need for feminism now? And if they weren't equal, is that because men had more of a mental edge?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 07:54 PM
1

Yes, your place in society is necessary for your survival
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 07:25 PM
-2

So you're saying that violence is not a characteristic of unprogressed societies? That's insane to me - any logical argument to base that on?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 07:24 PM

Look up death grip masturbation, stimulation could be the issue
/r/askTRP20/06/15 07:06 PM

What's your main argument then?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 07:01 PM

I'd say it's a continuous distribution. Nobody is exactly average, but most people are close

/r/askTRP20/06/15 06:16 PM
1

Yes, of course. It is only on average that I believe women to be more emotional, and men to be more logical.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 06:14 PM
-1

My main purpose was to hear solely dissenting arguments. What? I would say ALL of early life revolved around physical strength = power. Which the progress of technology, logic overcame physical strength, starting with fire, to guns, etc.

It's survival as well as reproduction, remember. None of your examples seem to make any issue for me- perhaps choose your best one and explain it in more detail, contextually with the debate

I don't disagree. As a byproduct, therefore, it is irrelevent to this current discussion

My post is concerned with men and women having different emotions, because they have needed different survival and reproducing strategies in the past on account of physical differences. You are saying that emotions are not different for men and women, because not all mutations have the basis of benefit for us. I am asking for examples of mutations that do not benefit us - physical or emotional. This post is not regarding getting down into the nitty gritty of gene mutations, but even if what you …

/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 05:30 PM

Sadness is emotion. Depression is rogue emotion. A fellow commenter did an excellent job communicating my view. Obviously not all behaviour is done with the ultimate goal of reproduction - I am not interested in logic at this point. In addition, emotions have the purpose of SURVIVAL as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 05:29 PM

Micro level gene mutations are irrelevent. My concern is with emotional and physical, macro, mutations. The big picture. Even if th little pieces of a jigsaw don't relate to something, the whole jigsaw still can.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 05:26 PM
-1

Ah, we're getting somewhere. A key thing is that emotions are more like physical mutations - than genes on a micro level.

If I'm misunderstanding you, please tell me. It seems to me you're saying that 90% of our aspects don't benefit us. What I wanted was you to be like 'e.g, our noses don't do shit' or similar
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 04:46 PM
-1

If you're saying that the majoirty of our self doesn't benefit us, surely a specific example would be easy to come up with? The caps locks are merely an attempt to emphasise certain words in order to minimise misunderstanding.

I appreciate your input. What would be helpful is for you to offer a counter theory. Maybe 'emotions are nothing to do with evolution' or something. Maybe people who protected other people had the favour returned, and so survived. Also, it this is my debate let's keep it pithy, I get that satire and sarcasm are the bp thing, but it waters down the debate and makes your opinion look less credible, even if that's not the case.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 04:34 PM

It's pretty crazy. This stuff seems so obvious and makes so much sense, it's baffling that people don't agree.

YES. Mutations are random. What is not random is mutations that SURVIVE. These mutations BENEFIT US. Can you name properties of people, either emotional or physical that serve no purpose for us?

As in, morality has shaped the way our emotional impulses have developed?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 04:11 PM

Doesn't matter, we're talking simply average physicalities here.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 04:10 PM

Depression is a valid emotion. If you're sad, it inspires you to change, which is 100% good for your genes. When it becomes depression is where there is a imbalance, and no amount of changing your behaviour can offset the emotion. Behaviour is driven by emotions.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 04:09 PM

We are designed, by natural selection. Logically, there are people that don't want to have kids. This is IRRELEVENT. Barring tiny minorities, everybody emotionally wants to have sex (therefore they are driven to reproduce.) It is emotions that are the discussion point. Everything about us is designed to benefit us, because only those who had the stuff that benefited us survived. What emotions do we have that can't be correlated to this? Or can you offer an alternative correlation?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 03:50 PM

You think morality is a causal influence in the state of emotions in men and women?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 03:45 PM

Both the eyes and trachea are VERY vulnerable and require no strength to damage - hence Krav Maga. That being said, what you're saying is irrelevant. On average, men are physically superior to women, even at the same weight. Look at average strength tables for body builders, they have men and women sections for a reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 03:45 PM
1

If I fought women of my weightclass, it would be savage as shit. The only case where I wouldn't win is if the girl was serious talented, eg at bjj. This is not physical, and so has no bearing on evolutionary psychology. Stimuli? What do you mean? Economics?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/15 03:36 PM

A big thing is that these differences are on average, very good. i don't see how morality is relevant to evolutionary psychology

Humans are animals, they are designed to SURVIVE and REPRODUCE. Any humans that didn't have strong urges to do both those things died and didn't pass their genes on. I'd be interested in your take on why we are emotionally driven to do anything if it's not to benefit our genes. E.g I'd rather kill an animal than a human. I'm scared as fuck of sharks. I love sex. Im not attracted to sluts (could end up protecting someone else's genes and not preserving mine) etc. these all have clear explanations…

The key thing about love is it's an EMOTION. Therefore if men and women have different emotions, then they will 'love' in different ways

I'd be interested to know a summary of an argument against the evolutionary psychology used by trp, because it seems very logical and understandable to me. Even if trp was some weird cult, following some of their advice has made me very happy with women, and made women happy with me. (The main part about women in my mind taking is them of a pedestal)
/r/ExRedPill20/06/15 07:29 AM

To be honest, through that post and talking with the moderators, I've seen enough - there is no opposition to the red pill, there are just people that don't like it. All bp is, is people that feel emotionally negative about it, not people that have coherent opposing logic.
/r/ExRedPill19/06/15 09:38 PM

I was told on tbp that purple pill is red pill2 - hence why I see no point. A discussion which says 'go read this' isn't very helpful either, and i literally cannot remember one argument for bp, or against rp being given to me - the best I got was feelings.

You've raised another thing I find interesting - objectively higher smv guys than me who have unattractive girlfriends or no success with women, it's pretty disgusting to see such potential go to waste with a shitty attitude
/r/askTRP17/06/15 04:17 PM

This. I don't know if you ever fully swallow it - every time I think I have I've gone to to make further realisations and taken on board more ideas
/r/TheRedPill17/06/15 02:45 PM

It's something I've been contemplating. A shy person might seem stoic and mysterious, or a person with a low sex drive might seem to have a IDGAF abundance mentality. That's why it's important to emphasise the ideals behind alpha behaviour, and not the behaviour itself
/r/askTRP17/06/15 02:41 PM
1

You're obviously right, you've misunderstood the point though - I am definitely not advocating laziness, I just think it's interesting that 'alpha' behaviour can be derived through all sorts of mentalities, often not attractive ones
/r/askTRP17/06/15 12:17 PM
7

Absolutely agree with AWALT being at the top. Really and truly coming to terms with women's love meaning nothing, and that there's no such thing as a cute innocent girl (they're all promiscuous) is still a battle

I really like this post, what else there to read that is similar? Also, one concern I have is how well this idea of giving and not taking can be reconciled with a dominant, self centred and powerful attitude?
/r/TheRedPill14/06/15 06:08 PM
1

That's obvious, the key part is what your main enjoyment is..
/r/askTRP14/06/15 05:57 PM

Your highest priority, the thing that your happiness is made with. E.g: a footballers main goal might be to be the best player ever. However subtly, my old goal was to have an emotional loving relationship with a girl.

Before, I got comfort from girls but I don't see that happening again.
/r/askTRP13/06/15 05:54 PM

Do you think you can care for and enjoy a girl, whilst being certain that you could never see her again, or she could fuck someone else and you wouldn't care?
/r/askTRP12/06/15 07:02 PM
1

So it's a functional value that a ltr gives you, it doesn't comfort you in any way?
/r/askTRP12/06/15 06:33 PM
1

I see, have you always felt that way, or is that the result of a transition similar to the one I'm undergoing?
/r/askTRP12/06/15 06:27 PM
3

I'll try to be clearer. Girls offer emotional connection and sex. My worry now is that with my new ideas of girls, I can never enjoy any kind of emotional connection with them. Previously, I would smile at text messages, get comfort from hugs, enjoy laughing and seeing a girl happy - I would get value from a girl non sexually. To me, it seems that you are saying that you arent emotionally attracted to girls: any fun you could get with them is merely from the activity, and not them. (I guess my m…
/r/askTRP12/06/15 06:25 PM
1

I see. It's valuable to have someone who cares about you and does things for you, I definitely feel that. My ex would always bring me food, make me my favourite dinners unprompted, etc
/r/askTRP12/06/15 06:19 PM
1

I probably am, though what you're saying is good news - even after losing completely idealistic views of women and seeing reality, girls can still have value other than sex
/r/askTRP12/06/15 05:44 PM
1

Where do you find comfort in life? What is your primary purpose?
/r/askTRP12/06/15 05:41 PM
2

In your mind is there any fun to have with a girl that is emotional and not sexual?
/r/askTRP12/06/15 05:34 PM
2

So you don't have any emotional attraction to them, it's just physical? And by cute I mean literally anything that is fun that isn't sex
/r/askTRP12/06/15 05:33 PM
1

It's not a logical reason why I'm not interested in women so much, it's emotional - I don't feel any emotional attraction to them. At this point I don't think any girl could 'bring joy into' my life
/r/askTRP12/06/15 05:31 PM
0

So you're not at all interested in doing anything cute with a girl ever?
/r/askTRP12/06/15 04:06 PM
1

What exactly is it other than sex?
/r/askTRP12/06/15 03:32 PM
1

Do you enjoy that? Is it comforting to be around a ltr?
/r/askTRP12/06/15 03:06 PM
4

This is exactly the issue - what girls really are is not emotionally attractive, just the way they are with me is
/r/askTRP12/06/15 02:57 PM
3

This is good. I definitely feel that If I can ever love again, it will need a progress to a love without ownership. It has crossed my mind to get into relationships with the sluttiest girls I can find to hammer out this idealistic bullshit
/r/askTRP12/06/15 02:53 PM
4

So are you saying that all girls are sluts, and therefore there is nothing emotional that comes close to comparing with our ideas of them being innocent and cute? But - they can still be fun?
/r/askTRP12/06/15 02:49 PM
6

The real issue is, do they exist? I just got out of a relationship with the sweetest most innocent girl ever - fucked a much older chavvy guy she just met within a week.
/r/askTRP12/06/15 02:44 PM
2

This is short and sweet, keep them coming

Happiness is designed to make us behave in ways that benefit our genes. Women are attracted to people who behave in ways that benefit their genes. If you live so that you feel really fulfilled and happy (as a man likely a dominant life), women will be attracted to you. Good post
/r/TheRedPill08/06/15 06:54 PM

You can do anything with any girl if she's attracted to you, cannot relate to that quote. Good post though

Saw an article before trp that said that girls weren't as attracted to what men wished they looked like (muscular and v ripped) than brad pitts fight club body. I could see why this could be the case, but is this true? If the dad bod is even remotely a thing I have no faith in any mainstream ideas about what girls are attracted to. Thoughts?
/r/TheRedPill03/06/15 09:51 PM

My tips: 1.) do fairly intense cardio every day 2.) don't bottle up your emotions, find any way you can to express them and get them out of you. I think it's a very common issue for intelligent, self critical men to never express their emotions - it was a huge issue for me. The idea of being a stoic is good, but it should stem from the feeling of calm you get from emotional catharsis.
/r/TheRedPill02/06/15 08:32 PM

Game is good, the principle of qualification has definitely helped me a lot. Just remember that people only value what they have to work for, so never give yourself away for free. In terms of frame, if your number one goal is women, you're doing it wrong - your main social purpose should be to have social dominance, which leads to a better social life.
/r/TheRedPill01/06/15 10:17 PM

For women: 'I love you' = 'I need you' I must be more sceptical than most, because I find that my dog would happily love the shit out of whoever gives her food and walks her - not very unconditional.
/r/TheRedPill01/06/15 06:37 PM
2

From what you've said, I know you already know this, but: All there is is attraction, if a girl breaks up with you or rejects you, it's because she's not attracted to you. Even if she says 'I'm breaking up with you because you killed 9 people' - nah, if she was attracted to you she wouldn't care. She'd be all 'wow I can't believe you killed loads of people, that's hot'
/r/TheRedPill01/06/15 06:33 PM
1

Tbh, I didn't do shit. On paper I have some very significant things that should make me unattractive to women, and I'm only decent looking - maybe 7.5/10. In my opinion THE most important thing that is required to have a girl attracted to you is ONE impression. Being tall, muscular, rich, etc, is all good, but it's dwarfed by this impression: 'this guy does not value me or need me, nothing I say to him has any real effect on him.' This girl literally told me she felt this way before the relation…

Believe it or not, that was my inspiration for such an alpha move - chateau heartiste was my introduction to the ways of the alpha! To be honest, my fondest memories of her were me giving her beta friends a shit eating grin and a wink as she chased me (whilst complaining about me ALL the time to them)
/r/TheRedPill01/06/15 02:40 PM

It makes alot of sense. Having a hot girl is sex (which is good, but not THAT good) and emotional connection (which is meaningless - it's just your power she loves)
/r/TheRedPill01/06/15 02:35 PM
5

I find theres a momentum shift in the process of getting a girl. As soon as I know that I could completely ignore her and she would contact me, taking the power is completely second nature to me, and the easiest thing in the world. The amount of times she'd text me 'I need you to be rough with me' etc, and I'd reply 'lol' - it's pretty laughable. Meanwhile she's got 10 beta friends buying her jewellery for her birthday.. I got her a packet of sweets and she told me I was the best thing that ever…
/r/TheRedPill01/06/15 02:32 PM

I agree. Women want an unbreakable guy, and if they can break him then he can't support them. I think it was Patrice that said 'a woman will never leave you until she's broken you.'
/r/TheRedPill01/06/15 07:25 AM
6

It's a really really big deal that trp should shine some light on. It sent me to some dark places when the thing that I thought would ensure my happiness barely did anything for me. It seems that truely loving a girl requires a degree of desperation, and once you have power (the only way a girl can love you) you can't love her anymore. However, when I have power over a girl I can still comfort her. When she has power over me she leaves without hesitation. I pick her being the one hurting.
/r/TheRedPill31/05/15 10:01 PM
7

When I say happiness is internal, I mean that is where you will find it. No amount of external validation will EVER make you happy alone, I would say it's 80% internal. It ended because I 'alpha-d out.' I had so much power over her I felt nothing anymore, and I told her I'd never love her so she broke up with me. I rationalised being beta and needy, and since I'd got comfortable and wasn't living a full life in other areas, it really poured out. From that point theres nothing to do.
/r/TheRedPill31/05/15 05:42 PM

Think about it, if you had true abundance of women, why would you ever be actively seeking to commit to just one?
/r/TheRedPill26/05/15 08:03 PM

One thing I have noticed, is that in a relationship where I have very close to 100% power over someone, I genuinely feel slightly psychopathic. They can be crying and crying and I'll only slightly be affected by it. As soon as they have more power over me, Im far more emotionally responsive.
