Tone it down. To call a girl "sexy" in your opening has a strong sexual connotation. It's obvious you are gonna get rejected because there is an undwrtone that yells "I want to fuck you" Tell them something like "you have a cute look" or "you have an interesting look" and follow up with an observation about their look or vibe. That shows you are interested, but not in a creepy sexual way, but more in a curious way. Just do it with confidence and respect, and if she invests, just be playfull in t…

Man, you are overthinking it. She is not as invested as you, but that doesn't mean is over. She already told shes interested in anothe date. The only thing you just need to do is tell her time and place. To be fair, your last conversation wasn't interesting nor emotional charged, it was just needy of her validation, so its normal that she put a closure. Don't worry, just text her 1 or 2 days before the date. And remember: don't be needy nor to agreeable, that turns them off. Tease her, trigger h…

Yes, I think it’s an insecurity issue on my end. I liked this girl (and the others), and I would feel more secure and confident if they showed more engagement and initiative. In my mind, it goes like this: “If she liked me, she would take initiative.” Maybe I’m wrong — not all girls express interest in the same way.

Thanks for your thoughtful and spot-on comment — I really appreciate it. The reason there was so much texting before the date is because I didn’t match with her in the usual way — I actually got her attention by commenting on one of her prompts, which intrigued her. The flirty nature of my approach led me to ask her out very early in the conversation. I knew she would likely say no at that point, but I still did it to plant the idea of a date from the start and make my intentions clear. She didn…

Thanks for your response. I’d like to reply point by point. I didn’t flirt because I felt that in an environment like that, being flirty might put her on guard. Plus, it was an event where most of the women were just there to relax, so I didn’t want to be seen as the guy who “only came to hit on women.” I’m very aware that it’s never a good idea to assume someone’s into you. However, what I am sure of is that I caught her attention — and that’s all I really need. I can use that as a starting poi…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
