You're in Poland? This is just a preview of what would happen in your own country if it became embroiled in war. Your neighboring countries won't be accepting men as refugees and will instead push you to the frontline to hold back Putin's forces. Unlike Ukranians though, you can make contingency plans in case the worst ever happens.

Imagine if abortion was banned in all states except Nevada. What's wrong with Nevada?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/26 08:15 PM

Europe, yes. Where in the US can one go to legally procure the services of a professional outside of Nevada?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/26 07:59 PM

So your solution is... to do something super illegal in many countries that can result in jail time, loss of job, and social ostracism. I can see why everyone considers you a troll since all you seem to do is try to get men to ruin their own lives.

So how many guys is that out of all the guys you've met in your life? How about the number compared to just the guys who were interested in you? I think you'll agree that it's the vast minority.

The 60s were 60 years ago. 60 years from 1960 was 1900. Doesn't that sound ancient? That's exactly how far away the 60s are to us.

If this as uncommon as you say, and you met someone who was not only willing to do it regularly, but could also make you come reliably, and he aspired to be a gigolo/man whore, would you pay for his service? Assume that he likes you enough that he'll give you a bit of a discount - so his rate is $150-200 - and he won't charge you for every encounter.

That means basically never having sex again. Just watching porn, unless she's against that too. Not many takers for that arrangement.

Your claim was amply refuted by the other replies to your comment, but I sincerely doubt that it'll be an inflection point for you to read beyond the headline or think critically about what you hear on social media.

Muhammad Ali didn't care about it until he found out he was eligible to get drafted. So the powers that be will just make sure not to call up celebrities, influencers, etc., and just grab regular guys with no platform.

Hey, that's rough. You unfortunately found out why dogs are aptly named "man's best friend" - men don't really have the support structures people need to get by in their daily lives. Your post reminded me of a comment I read once by a petite man who walked his female coworkers to their cars parked some blocks away in a shifty neighborhood. After everyone leaves, he finds himself alone and muses, "Now who's going to walk me to my car?" Have you heard of an Xbox game called Tell Me Why? One of the…

I don't pay much attention to the Olympics or its athletes, so your assertion that a gold medal winner was raised by a single dad caught my attention. I wanted to correct a few inaccuracies - please don't take this as criticism because I agree that her upbringing and the struggle to get her there sounds extraordinary. It sounds like you are highly biased against men to not have considered actual harm caused to men, indicated by your lack of response to the question of how many women have been maimed. I've noticed you also mentioned being in a sexless marriage for 12 years and having sex less than a handful of times in that time - do you think your spouse should have de facto unilateral control of this aspect of your relationship? Would you have agreed to this arrangement prior to marriage? Probably not, as mo…

I actually read all of it because I was curious if he was "full of it" or not, as you suggested. He made some good points, but one in particular stood out: "What’s ironic is that men do help women make progress, through policy changes, activism, and institutional power, but that contribution is erased or reframed as 'finally doing what they should’ve done all along.'" That was an excellent point and gives me something to think about - that when society does make progress and redress historical w…

How is it ridiculous? I'm using the same reasoning you did. Roe v. Wade was decided the same year the draft in America ended, so the issue of abortion seems kind of blown out of proportion. Even in the unlikely event that it becomes federally banned, there's nothing stopping people from leaving the country and getting one by paying cash in another country. (It might even be cheaper than getting one in the US.) Unlike a draft, where men will be prohibited from leaving their country. You should re…

If that's the case, why do women panic over Handmaid's Tale? Even with the rollback of Roe v. Wade, no one is being forced to have sex to get the birth rate up, no one has to have kids. Just don't have penetrative sex and the legality of abortion becomes a non-issue.

Sex workers aren't legal in the US. At least not on the John side. How convenient that you'd recommend something that can ruin someone's career and/or upend his life.

Have you seen the TV show Y: The Last Man? (Most people haven't, so it was cancelled). It's based on a comic book where all the men in the world die except one and women are left to run everything themselves. In it, the sole male survivor has a sister who is a radical feminist who changes her mind like you when she finds out that her brother is still alive - and she has to defend him from all the other women who want him dead. That could be your story one day.

You don't think your religious upbringing precludes you from being impartial on the subject? Your reasoning is your own personal opinion. This is like if men were conscripted into war, and you were like, "I don't consider myself disposable cannon fodder. I'm strong and fast from doing military drills and exercises, and I would otherwise have a dead-end job at a gas station if not for my military career." If that works for you, it's only for you. You were the one talking about Roe v. Wade, or rather the rollback of it, so the topic of focus was obviously the US. No shit even worse things happen around the world. I could point out worse that happen to men too. Hence, girls don't have less rights than boys here in the US, which is presumably where you reside. But if you think things are bad now, buckle down for when Germany's conscription drive begins in earnest in 2028 and conflict with Russia expands across Europe further down the line.

Less medical rights? That's an outrageous lie. Girls aren't the ones who are circumcised at birth. Anyone who thinks it isn't a big deal should be made to watch an unedited video of it without music. If we can't even protect babies, it should hardly be a surprise that we care even less about adults who actually have the ability to advocate for themselves.

If men have to be dragged into marriage as you stated, doesn't that suggest they don't benefit from it? Otherwise, they would want to do it. You already disproved your own theory. Why can't you imagine living a fulfilling life as a single man, but you can as a woman? That seems sexist. Single men can do whatever single women can that you consider fulfilling.

Haha, I was seriously boggled by your response and had to read your previous response slower. You said you and your partner previously had negative impressions of marriage, but I missed that you changed your minds after discussing it. Then that is the modern trend since birthrates are declining almost everywhere, certainly in wealthier countries. Therefore, you agree with OP that in present times, women benefit more from marriage than men. Though there are still traditional men who value marriage more.

Do you not see the dichotomy between what you said about women wanting to get married being a good sign and you and your partner deciding not to get married? You said it's good, but then you and your partner decided against it. It's only a good sign if he has a positive impression of marriage, which many men don't. Otherwise, we can likewise say it's a good sign when men want to have sex with women since it means that she's attractive, and women are weird for being offended by this.

What made them creepy? Because they're interested in a girl who isn't interested in them? You said it yourself that they take a shotgun approach to dating, that if they ask out 100 girls and 1 of them says yes, they consider that a success. Why do you keep talking about ancient times? How about the modern day which you can see with your own eyes? Men in Ukraine are conscripted and not allowed to leave their country while the women flee, South Korean men all have to do mandatory military service; many countries have compulsory service for men only while only a handful require women as well like Israel or the Nordic countries since they're actually egalitarian.

Obesity and gun violence are considered normal here too. You're not gonna let your kid drink soda every day or give them a gun, are you? FYI, there's a new precedent set recently for gun violence - if a kid shoots up their school, it's the parents that are charged with the crime.
/r/MensRights13/02/25 06:04 AM

That's easy for you to say since it's not your kid. I dare you to watch a circumcision video with unedited audio. Then imagine that was your kid - you might wonder how you could have been so ignorant.

So your brother dated a coworker? He found out the hard way why conventional wisdom was gleaned from previous generations who had to face peril to obtain this knowledge. It's because she was hired to keep the government off your employer's back. Without being required to hire women, these companies would all be sausagefests, so they don't want to be accused of being sexist. Hiring another man, even one who's a star performer, won't help the company with any of that.

You're from the UK. Indians and other brown people are commonly referred to as "Pakis" there, regardless of whether or not they're actually from Pakistan. Doesn't feel so good to be judged for a stereotype, does it?

I was under the impression that it always was. My understanding was that it's a country with a lot of social pressure for people to get married. I know it's not easy to resist peer pressure, but don't get involved with people where a situation can turn into disaster spectacularly. For example, conventional wisdom advises strongly not to date coworkers. Anyone who does so takes a big risk at their own peril.
/r/MensRights01/01/25 03:49 PM

That sounds almost justifiable, except killing someone after being assaulted isn't legal in every jurisdiction. If it's legal to stab someone who punched you in the face, that would be classified as self-defense, which should be the case here.

Because the military is like 95% male, so it's easy to sweep under the rug if there is harassment. But if it was 50% male, then it would be much easier to report. Your rationalization for circumcision is insane. You realize the overwhelming majority of the world does not do it? Most men don't need it. Just admit you prefer the aesthetics of cut dicks.

Why would you want to come to the US? You have to pay for everything yourself: university, healthcare, etc. The knee surgeries you had would cost thousands of dollars here. With your EU passport, you can go to any other country there. You probably shouldn't join the army since war has broken out in Europe, and it's hard to say how things will be in the future.

There is definitely a segment of the population voting for him because he will fuck shit up. There were plenty of prominent people criticizing him that are keeping mum now because he might actually win. Not while Trump is in office since he's friends with Putin. Putin can just wait four years until Trump is out of office, and then when war breaks out in Europe again, Trump will be like, "There was never any war while I was President."

That's per dose, smart guy. Adults over 25 have to take a series of 3 shots since it's much less effective by the time they're sexually active. The HPV vaccine was introduced in 2006, but wasn't available to boys until 2011, 5 years later. You have to get it before you're sexually active, so it's already too late for an entire generation of men. Why are you even here if you don't even care about your rights, assuming you're a man? So if someone pays the $40/mo., would they be able to get quality matches and avoid scammers and spam? Because that would be great for gay men in areas like NYC and San Francisco where that fee would be like 2 hours of labor and would be worth it if it actually improves your dating or sex life.

It depends on your perspective on stand-your-ground laws. In NYC, you'd have a duty to retreat, so Penny was considered to have acted excessively. But anyone who was actually there should have been prepared to fight for their lives: "Vásquez told The New York Times that Neely began screaming, "I don't have food, I don't have a drink, I'm fed up. I don't think any modern country would have the balls to conscript women to the frontline during an active war. When men die in battle, they can glorify his death and call him a hero. Once word gets around that women are being raped and killed, it would demoralize soldiers and hurt the war effort. They might say they're still discussing it, but it's more to stem the backlash about conscription being male only in most countries.
