Hello. In my opinion and observation, it can be said that men play the role of "working and expendable material" in society, especially if we speak in a historical and social context. And so on point by point: 1) Labor force and the duty to protect. Historically, men have always been obliged to: earn, protect, provide for their families, serve in the army, take on difficult and dangerous work. Men dominate in high-risk professions: miners, firefighters, military personnel, builders, truck drivers, etc. Unfortunately, such people do not receive due support, recognition, money for their work or help. 2) Expendable material in wars and difficult situations Men have always been the first to be called to war, and die in battle en masse. In disasters, conflicts, repressions, and calamities, men suffer first. The idea of "saving women and children" by default means that men should stay and die if necessary. Which literally means that your life is less valuable and you should sacrifice it. 3) Social support: fewer rights, more responsibilities In developed countries, men: pay more taxes and work more. receive fewer benefits; use benefits less often; more likely to lose children in divorce (in terms of custody): face greater mistrust if they ask for help. 4) Psychological pressure A man must "hold on", not complain, not show weakness. If a man breaks down, society often believes that he himself is to blame. Suicides are more often committed by men, because it is more difficult for them to ask for help and their life is harder. 5) And now the most important thing that makes me nervous the most. If you look at it from the perspective of the modern social and economic system, you can say that men act in many ways as a resource that ensures the well-being of women and society as a whole. Firstly: Men earn more on average and pay more taxes, which finance social programs, including those aimed at supporting women and children. Men are often the main "financial support" of the family. State benefits, privileges, subsidies are mainly aimed at women (especially mothers) and children. Men often turn out to be donors of resources that are redistributed into these programs. Secondly: In traditional and modern society, men more often take on protective functions (army, police, physical labor). This creates safer conditions for women and children. Conclusion: From all this I can say that men are first and foremost just a resource and money for creating the well-being and convenience of women. Think about it. Men should sacrifice themselves and work for women both at the state level and in more personal relationships, men do a lot for society but are not helped or appreciated. State structures help women at the expense of men and women benefit from this. The state is on the side of women and their problems are recognized, unlike men's. All the best goes to women. Courts, laws, police, education, medicine, work, media, benefits, houses and other things, I suppose. As if men should work for the convenience of women. Men have problems with education these days. Most of the police are men but they protect women first and foremost, and men are not recognized as victims. Almost all builders are men but most of the homeless are men, and assistance centers are mainly for women. And more women, by the way, own houses and live in cities. Men visit doctors less often, medicine is more focused on women, and psychologists basically don’t know how to help men specifically. Most benefits and social payments go to women, and it’s hard for men to get them. I’m sure there are other examples. I’m tired of feeling like I have to work hard for the state that won’t help me if something bad happens to me, for the women who hate me because of my gender and consider me dangerous. I don’t like this fate. I’ve been living in seclusion for over five years now, I feel bad there, but there’s no better way out. I don’t want to return to a society where I have no value by default, unlike women, a society where my life is unimportant. I’ll continue to live like this as long as I can. I don’t want to go back to the times when I worked on a construction site all day, coming home tired and with no time for myself. I have no choice, I can’t do anything in this life. And when the moment comes when I can no longer live on my parents' money, I will commit suicide, I have nothing to do in this world. I don't know how to cope with this feeling of second-rate, does anyone have ideas how? To those who took the time to read this post, thank you. Men do not deserve such a fate, to be just expendable material... I am grateful to all men, you are good and should demand more from yourselves. If it were not for men, I would not have a roof over my head, appliances in the house, and other things.
