The end of this article is actually very fair and argues for equal application of the law. The comments here are much unfair to the author who is actually on the mens side.

It absolutely is an echo chamber here. Watch criticism like this get downvoted instead of argued against

Exactly. Dont let these divisive haters define a community based equal rights and social compromise. Theyre trying to make this into a negative destruction of society instead of a positive creation of new social norms that make sense in todays technological age. We get to decide those norms.

This is yet another example of how our crazy Left has taken the controls of America. Like monkeys in the control room of a nuclear power plant, they excitedly push buttons and spin dials. They see no need for experimentation, and use a generation of young Americans as guinea pigs to test their theories about the foundations of both individual psychology and our society. That's not happening. Why mention Left? Who brought them into this? I thought this was about men and women? Fuck people who tur…

Everywhere is a safe space. People are cowards who can't defend their views so they create places where they don't have to and they're applauded for it...cowardice is bravery now.

You're in a good marriage "right now". But you don't control it. Legally, she controls you, your money and your happiness. As long as you don't realize that, which you don't, she's winning. Your marriage is a promotion for her. With legal access to half your money, no matter what, she's never going down in income. Of course she's happy. For now.

He's in a happy marriage "right now". We all know that can change in an instant for no reason with dire consequences to him and financial rewards for her. If he doesn't understand thar then there's nothing to do after pointing it out. Let a woman's nature take its course. He'll understand eventually

Paul Robeson: My father explained to me that when a (white) fellow hit me, I couldn't hit him back because they would say we were bad and savage, so I had to stand to be knocked all around. Sounds familiar eh?

Men will never be liberated from their gender roles. Our strength, resilience and abstract critical thinking is too valuable. We will always have gender imbalance until women pull their societal weight. Women think every man is a sexist pig until they need a jar opened or a tire changed or their toilet unclogged. Then we do it for them but it changes nothing. Were still pigs to them but even pigs are appreciated for their usefulness to society. Men, never.

Dude do not spar these girls ever. Only your gf. Tell the teacher you feel unsafe. Seriously. Imagine if one of these girls gets hurt while sparring you. Lawsuit. Even if shes faking you'll have to pay a lawyer to work it out and fight like hell for your reputation. And there's alllll those witnesses who will back her story no matter what. Allllll those women who will villify you to anyone who will listen for something you never did. Refuse to spar these women, please, for your own legal safety.

I didn't suggest you preach into agreeing with you but that's what you assumed I meant. If you can't discuss in a civil way then that's the issue. I'm changing minds every day. Men need to talk to each other and confirm that our experiences with women are very very similar. Thats what these forums are. Do it in real life too. Thats important. Only men can save other men. Who else is going to do it?

That happened. Yes. Why mention it every other paragraph? And Obama's out. Mentioning him solves nothing and blurs the true culprits here which are the private universities who roll over to the satisfy the women that screamed loudest.

Obama and Trump do not set the policies of private universities. Their names distract from the authors point. I gave the author about a dozen Obamas. One. Two. Five. Ok. But after enough Obamas you see who the author really blames for the issue. Not militant feminists who've overstepped rational thinking a while ago. He blames Obama. It's weak rhetoric and look how divisive it's become even in this tiny little thread. Arguments against feminism are stronger if we never mention Trump or Obama or …

Sure. It's definitely not as black and white as I made it. Ideologies are dangerous because they justify a lack of empathy. Your teacher is suffering her adherence to feminist ideology. She may have lacked empathy for the mistakes or weaknesses of her past boyfriends in order to obtain the social benefits of following a popular ideology.

Education doesn't matter. There's a sickening feeling in your stomach when you hear human beings scream to death. If you don't listen to that and you turn the valve on Zyklon B then you're not fit to be among humanity. This has nothing to do with your teacher though. Shes just lonely and hopefully questioning her life choices and who she could have "put up with" in order to secure all the attention and social acceptance she thinks she's missing out on.

You asked for a critque of content. You didn't answer my critique. You got all emotional against someone on your side. You agree that partisan bs has no place here but you still think the article makes a good argument. It was on the verge of a good argument but it's stained by partisan bs. Mens rights needs better rhetoric if we're going to be taken seriously. And you need to remove the knee jerk reactions if you are going to be taken seriously

It's not really superb. I quit reading after the 15th mention of "Obama's policies" on Title IX. Why mention it so much? Definitely shows a political bias which calls into question the legitimacy of the authors claim to equal representation and equal access to court proceedings. Obama, Trump, Hillary have no place in this argument. It's amateur, lazy rhetoric and makes all MRA supporters look unintelligent and partisan. Want to win arguments? Create solid, coherent arguments

Sure maybe it's not the right time. These cases for custody are based on reputation and, in courtrooms, men start at a disadvantage. Reputation occurs in the court of public opinion and this woman can help you. Also, cheaters are liars. There's no telling how your reputation has already been ruined, true or not. Women act however is immediately emotionally convenient. This is why they seem unstable to men and claim to be victims of their own temporary feelings. Men are taught that feelings are temporary and should be ignored, which has it's own set of problems

Realize you lost everything the day you got married. So how do you get your rights back? Record everything especially the blackmail. Get her on tape or email blackmailing you. Should be easy enough to push her buttons and get her emotional enough to admit things she shouldn't. Even if it's illegal in your state, do it. Extortion and blackmail are illegal too but hasn't stopped her. You need to protect your reputation in your social circle. She's capable of anything, any lie that can help her get…

Relax. Breathe. You're so angry at...what? People who scream are hurting on the inside and have trouble expressing these overwhelming emotions. You have the same problem. Overwhelming emotions but no real reason for the hate. You have more in common with feminists than you realize. Have empathy. Forgive. We're all struggling. Just be nice.

Dont mistake extremists for the real philosophy just because extremists scream the loudest. I don't want anyone judging Americans by Donald Trump or Christians by the Westboro Baptist Church or feminists by the nutbags you see screaming feminism on CNN. Don't believe the extremists. They're not normal by definition and rejected by the majority.

Yeah thats definitely a private conversation. But if you call a corporation they tell you "This call may be monitored and recorded..." How is that legal two party consent? Is consent implied by continuing the phone call? If so, could you tell her youre recording and if she continues the conversation is that the same implied consent? If you believe child support fraud is taking place are you allowed to record because a crime is occurring?
/r/MensRights29/01/18 08:58 PM
1

Those laws relate to private conversations. Does meeting in public, like a cafe, still count as private conversation? You can also simply tell her you are recording the conversation and send her the recording. Seems like a fair compromise since you both have the recording.

"Feminism's goal, at it's core, is to alleviate suffering. Men's movement has the same goal." A lot of people assume men don't suffer in a different, singular way. Men work the most dangerous, dirty and unwanted jobs and die doing them. Men commit suicide more than women. Men die more violent deaths. Men are raised to deny themselves therapy and emotional help for depression. Women are allowed to receive help from men or women but men are only allowed to receive help from women? If you point it …

But we have all have a frontal cortex so we can rationally overcome the antisocial parts of our human nature and spread empathy and forgiveness, even to those that don't treat others with empathy and forgiveness. We're not a bunch of instincts running around with no plan. We're rational beings that get overcome by the reptile, emotional, fight or flight part of our brains that we inherited. But that's our past human nature. It's literally buried in the deepest part of our brains. The frontal cor…
