That's a start, I suppose.

The original point made was that going out, approaching women makes you good with women. My counter point was that talking to women does not make you attractive to women or this community wouldn't exist. Therefore, this community exists because there is a glass ceiling, which you need to break through to become attractive, because women (and men) only associate with their equal. A woman who is of high sexual desirability is not going to get with a man who is not, and a man with many attractive, …

Ok, now you're just being silly. I've spent the past 3 long winded comments explaining my point in great detail and now you're saying I refuse to explain? Not to mention the fact that my last one was met with "that sounds semantical", the weakest argument Ive heard in a long time. I really didnt want to continue if that was the best you had. And I guess that means you take back what you said about 300lb jobless men not being able to get laid, right? If you dont consider a 300 pound jobless man g…

Ad hominem? Not even. I can tell what kind of person you are by the comments you make, its not a personal jab at you it's just stating the blatantly obvious. Classic reddit taking everything to the heart without eve thinking it through. You just don't seem to understand because of that attitude. I'm only explaining what I've known to work while you only comba it with "it won't because that's not be the world works" bs. If I've had success with it on multiple occasions then your perception of the…

Shrug Well I've made mm point. Taking a quick look through your comment history shows that you seem to just be a pessimistic person in general so there's no use explaining further. I just hope you don't misguide more people.

That's really untrue. You're adopting a very pessimistic mindset that you perceive as realism, but really isn't. The world isn't that dark. People date out of their "social values", whatever that is. I've dated out of my "social value". It happens all the time, I see it happen all the time. The people coming here want to learn how to get chicks. Not because they're "low social value", but because they don't know the techniques. You dont need any of that shit to land a girl, all you really need i…

I never said talking to women would automatically make you attractive. I said it would make you better at handling them and more accustomed to their presence. (Which many people seeking help need to work on.) Being confident will get you chicks. This has worked time and time again for me and I'm no Tyler Durden by a long shot. I think it's appropriate to say being confident makes you attractive in comparison to the guy who's twiddling his thumbs and looking down, wondering why this chick is even…

...Because just approaching women and talking to them will in fact make you better with them. Being confident enough to talk to girls will in fact make you attractive in its own right because girls, believe it or not, do look outside of plain looks when they look for mates. Myself being a prime example. So basically the complete opposite of what you said is actually the norm. See the irony?

Approaching girls does not =/= getting good with girls =/= being in a place in your life where you're even attractive enough to get any of the girls you find attractive Hah.. haha. Oh man. You'd be surprised.

People keep asking for advice but the truh of the matter is you really just got to grow a pair and talk to girls more often. Not trying to be mean, but the only way to really understand how these communications work is to get knee deep into it. Your going to fail. A lot. Sorry but that's life, if your afraid of failure you don't deserve success, that's the way I see it anyway. People here are going to give you their theories and step by step instructions and that's fine , but I've found that goi…

Indeed, I would say it's more like taking advice from a fish on how to be a good fisher, especially when you consider that you let the fish go after a while and that if the fish is too hard to capture, there's more fish in the sea.

How could anyone say these things are douchery? You don't need to assume when it's right in OP's comment. Read before you decide you get defensive next time.

Err, not once did I even mention r/FA and even if I did, I don't think you're in a place to speak for every single person of r/FA. I've never even been there. I'm talking about what I often see in Redditors that have a deep seated contempt for r/Seduction.

I think it's a fusion of white knighting and ignorance. They see women as Goddesses and not as people. They can be understood, and if you say the right things you can get her to give you a shot. As someone above pointed out, it's persuasion not deception and it's a skill that'll help you in all areas of life, not just picking up chicks.

Sedditor I understand completely. Well, the first step to confidence is self improvement. Find something you've always been interested and practice the fuck out of it. Work out. Actually shower and wear deodorant, fix your appearance. Then when you an look in the mirror and say "Yeah, I look good." you should have developed confidence by that point. Now just get muster up all the courage you've got and just talk to her, it'll be alot easier than you think. At this point let trial and error take …

Yep, there really isn't a secret, you just gotta do it. I had this same problem in Track and Field in High School. While waiting for my turn to run I'd think "Fuck yeah, I'm gonna burn these people." But when I kneeled down waiting for the guy to shoot the gun I was frozen with anxiety and just wanted to GTFO of there fast. Fortunately, at that point there was no turning back and I sucked it up and just did it. So.. I guess what you could do is build up the courage wolf in you, force yourself pa…

Yeah, I mean shit. If any post needed a TL;DR it would be this one. As for texting, my rules are the following: No Smilies - This might show the chick that you're trying to be cute, and is overall not very masculine, IMO No overthinking - I think everyone knows the feeling of crafting a perfect paragraph just to get "lol" No Serious business - This is just me, but I don't text anything super private or important. I save those for calls or actual talking so things don't get misconstrued or seen b…

Damn, from the looks of it you may have turned her off by saying that, but you can't be sure. I say go back there and test the waters, if she's still just as open and talkative then ask for her number and perhaps if she wants to hang out later. If the answer's "no", sorry bud, she probably isn't interested, you can be persistent if you want (women can change their minds after all) though. If all goes well and shes up for it then, wherever you hang out, explain what you really meant by saying tha…

If you get downvoted, I'm going down with you because someone needs to speak up. This is what worries me the most about this. He's going for a insanity wolf type of motivation which is fine for some people, but does nothing for me. You don't need to think a certain way to be confident, you don't need to 100% sure you're gonna succeed, and you don't need to lie to yourself that you don't care about what others think of you, when in all actuality you do. The key to confidence is not the eliminatio…

Err, alright. I guess I see your point here. It must be a regional thing because I've never had a girl give me that "invitation", even when I approach girls and hit on them successfully. The only exception would have to be when it's someone I already know well. Personally, I won't wait for an invitation to tell someone they look pretty or pop a little joke here and there.

I don't know about this, if your an Orlando Bloom you might be getting looks from chicks left and right, but for the rest of us you kind of gotta initiate. I don't really see why a chick would smile at a random guy she just happens to meet eyes with, so waiting for that cue is a waste of time imo. If you always wait for her to invite you you'll be waiting forever, especially if you're not gifted in the looks department. If she blows you off, so what? You gotta get used to that as a dude, you can…

Wiki is pretty spot on with it. "Flirting (or coquetry) is a playful romantic or sexual overture by one person to another subtly indicating an interest in a deeper relationship with the other person, and can involve verbal communication as well as body language. Basically anything that hints to her that you're interested.

This guy knows what he's saying, it's not what you say but how you say it. Body language, eye contact. Respect her and actually listen to what she has to say. As for the friendzoning, that depends. I hate to generalize but girls- actually, people in general can be a bit superficial. The way you look, what you wear, how you carry yourself, what you do with your time, how you talk I mean all these things are factors man. I've yet to meet any girl that wants to date a mess of a man, you've got to c…

Interesting take, but I think this depends heavily on the chick and on how you're flirting. I've heard many girls say they dont get enough guys confronting them, like they feel unwanted (Often times their beauty makes them unapproachable). And then there's girls like you who are irritated by them and actually have designated areas for flirting and not flirting. I guess it just depends, I say if she looks busy make is short and sweet. If she's not, start up a full convo or something. All flirting…

Now I'm no expert, but from my experience, it's not necessarily what you talk about, but how you talk about it. Try to make the conversation more about her as opposed to you, try to make her talk more about herself (this helps prevent you from talking too much) and, if she hits on a subject that you two have in common, take it and run. I guess that's how I do it, start off broad and then when I find some common ground take off with it. You'll be surprised at how well you can talk about something…

Yeah, this entire poster is just a big slipper slope as far as I'm concerned. There's no need to be arrogant when trying seduce. All you really need is confidence.

Wow, that just seems sociopathic to me. Why the fuck would you even waste your time with a dumb bitch anyway? In my mind she isn't even worth my shittiest insult. Keep you class and be the bigger man. But I guess if you want to get a response that bad you could go ahead, you're not doing anybody any favors by making an ass of yourself in front of every girl that stiffs you, though. Childish behavior, really.

There's no need to stoop to her level of jackassitude, stay collected and don't let it phase you. Tons of other chicks that are actually worth your time and effort.

Agreed, don't burn bridges when you don't have to. Who knows, she might've said no to you today but that doesn't mean she won't say yes tomorrow (some play hard to get, you know). My response? I would just say "alright, well if you ever change your mind you've got my number." This leaves you collected and cool so you don't come off like a jackass and will increase your cool points with her should she ever decide to call you back.
