The question isn’t to save it or get rid of it. It’s more how to get rid it

If you have to ask this question, you’ve been seriously scarred. Please get help. Try some Ketamine or psilocybin therapy if you’re in the right state. Otherwise seek out some sort of professional

Not sure what having kids or not having kids has to do with it, but whatever. Also not sure if you’re asking for the sake of your legal stance. If you’re asking ethically? Dude, get the fuck out there and go get yours. Practice. You may need it depending on how long you’ve been with the same woman.

Get over that shit. Have some faith in your ex and your kids.

Women are fucked up arent they. Especially the good looking ones. That’s what happens to a person I guess when they walk around there whole life being desired.

OP - I’m sorry you’ve been hurt. Other men - this is the experience of a scorned person. It does not have to be your experience.

Interesting topic. Newley separated so curious without answers. For me, it’s my STBX (we have kids) that will likely maintain the relationship with my brother and his wife and their kids.

Yeah this fella needs an attorney big time. It’s funny how the more you make the more you risk. If she gets half your shit, that’s a big chunk of change. Half my shit I would barely bat an eye. I’m middle class in California, in a poor state I’d be upper middle class. But compared to OP, I’m broke as a joke. I’d still rather be in OP’s situation (obvi), but I’m happy my STBX can’t take me very much.

We’re you referring to the second marriage or the first? Or both, lol.

That’s your takeaway from his post?? I completely agree with the statement and it’s not about anyone being BETTER. Are you kidding? Guys in this thread have pain and it shows. We feel for them.

Damn some of you guys are really scorned.

For a minute I thought I may have written then and forgotten. Except my kids are younger and my wife and I have almost no assets. Same story though. I’m 99% sure this will end up in divorce one way or the other, and yet we are starting therapy (with money we don’t really have) soon. Oh and I’m not living in the home. Everyone here will say I’m stupid for that, but I’m not looking for anything more than 50% custody. My wife is a much better caretaker than me. I’m a mess. Anyway OP, I can totally …

Got it. OK that’s quite different from my situation. Thanks tho. Good luck, sounds like you’re doing your part as a dad.

Hey bro thanks for posting. I’m currently separated with two boys 8 and 11. Can I ask why your boys can’t stand their mom? Overbearing?

Um yeah. You should ONLY be consulting an attorney. Falsely accused of rape? That’s heavy bro. Hang in there. Better days ahead.

Bottom line, you MUST take the opinions you read from this group with a grain of salt. Many of these men are in real pain, and regardless of the situation have chosen to resort to hate and spite. No matter what don’t end up like that. Better to keep thing as amicable as possible even if it costs you a bit more. It will have been worth it.

I’d rather just give the 50k to my ex and kids than the fucking lawyers

How can you give this advice based on what you know about OPs situation. Comments like this are why I’m starting to see this group is toxic for some

I can understand custody but why would staying or leaving the house affect alimony?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
