He was responding to the situation, not the girl.

Perhaps. But you shouldn't have to lie in these situations. IMO it's best to address the situation point blank and defuse it. I had to learn that the hard way. Being in a setup situation is awful if you let it play out.

Work hard, get good grades, and lift weights. Keep as healthy of a social life as permitted but don't let girls get in the way of what will make you successful for years to come. Girls are temporary but discipline and results are permanent. If you do these things the girls will follow, they can't resist a guy with high aspirations.

Monk mode is a good starting place. I'd do a mild round of monk mode in your case though. Get in good with work, pursue your hobbies with full intent, but keep your social group in mind. Don't let things with your ex escalate unless you truly want things to go that way again (Keep in mind that a girl in the navy will have been passed around, and is probably fully on the CC right now, has 2-3 other AF around if she's remotely attractive) Frame is something you need to constantly remind yourself o…

I hit the bar scene in Boulder every once in awhile. In my experience it's a very tough market. Especially with this weekend being move in weekend, it's gonna be hectic. I'll recommend a good basic outline. Go to your favorite chill bar relatively early. Get a few drinks, chat up the bartenders, sit at the bar. Chat up anyone who is just scrolling their phone or hanging out. No need to try to pick up girls here or anything, just get your social gears moving. After that, go to Absinthe or some ba…

Do what you will. The must reads are all in the sidebar of /r/TheRedPill and the top posts of the subreddit. You may want to leave it as a caveat to a bigger issue of mens rights, or traditional male-female roles.

A general rule of RedPill is to not talk about RedPill outside of TRP. You don't want to attract the kind of attention that writing an article about TRP will bring. There is such a negative stigma about it from the Blue Pillers that they will just look at with disgust. Unless you are required to write about it with such terms, I'd avoid as much of the terminology you use around here as possible.

Dude she's married, and you have some twisted history with her. Find another chick.

Keep it trim and neat. Buy yourself some nice trimmers and hit the visible and problematic areas a couple times a month. There's a lot of girls who like hairy guys, so your mating pool might be limited to that a bit. If you're gonna have facial hair, wouldn't recommend much more than a neat trimmed beard, nothing long to brag about to the bros.

Before I get in too far, what was she suggesting when she handed your phone? Did you have other texts coming in from wife or others? She very well could've snooped in the time she was gone. Keep your phone in sight man, women don't have the moral standards working men do. On to the meat of the situation. I've been in situations like this. Some of those outfits are fucking ridiculous. Be good at getting off a simple bra. If you can snap one off in a second or two, it's a turn on for them, a lot o…

Suggest you find your way over to /r/RedPillWomen if you haven't already. Also you've only been exclusive for 'a few weeks' and you're calling him an SO? He's running because you're clingy. Might be salvageable if you add distance. There's still a good chance you'll never see him again though.

A lot of new TRP/SMV improving men will still have some self esteem issues, and can't handle the ideal of being used. I had a hard time getting over it with a few very attractive girls, but until real abundance mentality kicked in I had to just stew in the self loathing until I got over it. But I agree, this isn't a girl you want to catch feelings for, she's bad news, and will only bring drama. If she wants to only hook up when she's drinking, go with her, let her see you flirt with her friends,…

Here's the thing about this situation. I agree with what /u/abdada said about Beta Fucks. Here's the thing though, you aren't exercising abundance mentality here, and she is acting appropriately. In her mind she's thinking, "He's a good lay, and I'll keep him around for that, but if i'm not feeling it, he'll still be there" I've been in this situation enough to accept it. She has 'plates' of her own, and her abundance mentality is what is getting to you. You have three options here. First is wha…

You should evaluate why you feel so good about this right now. Think about what an 18 year old girl has to offer. She's just sexually getting her training wheels off, barely (if even) in college, and emotionally immature. Yeah she may be fun to look at, but I wager you'll be bored with her in a few weeks. But, if you want to pursue her, just talk to her as you would any other girl. She'll swoon to your maturity and tell all her friends how she met this great older guy if she's really into you. H…

Google voice gives you a free number. Install it and it will ask you to choose a number, same area code and all. You can text, etc from the number, all on the same device, without an additional sim.

Absolutely. I don't think the age is too important here. Just need to have the confidence.

I know how awkward it can be going out solo the first time. A good thing to do is start at a smaller, quieter bar. Get there a bit early, chat up the bartender or cocktail waitress for awhile and get yourself a couple drinks. This should put you in a good social mindset, let you survey the scene a bit, then when you're ready you go to the big bars. Good luck man.

Maybe outline that in the post a little more clearly next time. They could have a change of opinion, or perhaps you're coming on too strong. Just ask them, "Beers or coffee?", then when you get a reply, set your time and date. I've had a very high success rate. Best of luck man.

You should really move quickly once you get a number. Maybe two or three relevant messages before you ask her out to something casual. If you wander over to /r/OkCupid or /r/Tinder and investigate this issue you'll see lots of girls complaining that some guys just chat away. They're not looking for a penpal, and they have 1-5 Orbiters in their phone they can chat with if they're bored.

Hard radio silence her. She's using you to fulfill her attention needs while she's bored. If she asks you why you left her in the dark just tell her you don't tolerate getting stood up like that. If the conversation continues, make her pick the place and time, otherwise next her.

True. But he already has the offer for the conference. It's implied in the post that he's going to the conference for work related business, and wants input for the secondary details. You are dismissing the question.

Unless you're working a low end, easily disposable job, most advice you'll get from TRP is, don't date coworkers. It's just not worth it.

Washington D.C. no question. It's one of the best mating markets for young men in the country. Seattle is a tech hub, so it's full of wealthy nerdy men.

The location Tinder first dates are always tricky. Make sure the place you are going is a nice coffee shop that isn't Starbucks. Have a second place to walk to after coffee with her, even if it's a simple as a playground or park bench, you need to keep things different to keep her attention, or else she'll write you off as some generic boring match (She's been on at least 3 other dates that only got a coffee, trust me). The conversation Chat with her about work/school/hobbies and keep it at that…

If you're under 35 years old, stick to texting. Keep your messages brief, do a little flirting, don't string it out. When you're on your way to pick her up for a date, give her a call, "Be ready in 10, I'll pick you up out front".

Truth here OP. You'll know the cheating red flags right off the bat too. More photo sessions, different locations, hell the tone of her voice when she talks about her experience. If she isn't done with the CC, next her.

You have no reason to lie in this situation. You need to be honest with her and yourself though. If you were falling for her as you say you were, make sure that if you try to dismiss this relationship and her requests, that you won't be tempted to text her back when you're home alone and bored. Understand that you dismissing her request to get more serious will be interpreted personally to her. You need to to tell her that you like her and like spending time with her, but have no intention in pr…

I agree. My biggest mistake was not speaking up soon enough. I could have changed my course if I had done so at the appropriate time. In the moment I was hesitant to think I could pull the switcheroo so I settled... I like /u/knitro 's point about the others bowing out.
