Common, especially with new TRP dudes.

This form of a relationship puts you under the heading of Beta Fucks (one of my 4 male designations).

It's superior to Beta Bucks but inferior to Alpha Fucks and Alpha Bucks (the male unicorn).

I personally have hated to be Beta Fucks so I always bounced plates who used me for that.

Question: is she quite a bit older than you?

Here's the thing about this situation. I agree with what /u/abdada said about Beta Fucks. Here's the thing though, you aren't exercising abundance mentality here, and she is acting appropriately. In her mind she's thinking, "He's a good lay, and I'll keep him around for that, but if i'm not feeling it, he'll still be there" I've been in this situation enough to accept it. She has 'plates' of her own, and her abundance mentality is what is getting to you.

You have three options here. First is what you were planning, by just nexting her. Second would be to confront her about it, but this will likely result in an end to it. Third would be to just accept that you're a part-time lay for her. Just let it go as is, but keep looking around and picking up/fucking other plates. There's a chance that will promote you to an AF if you play your cards right.
