It's no surprise the most 'sexually successful' young men in UK universities are the rugby boys, from affluent backgrounds. In my first two years when I was fully beta I remember thinking what douches they were. Obviously I now realise the truth; that they lifted, had male time together, and girls found them fun to be around, due to their chauvinism. I now emulate this, but I wish my (state comprehensive) school had allowed rugby, boxing etc

Effectively using deception to get what you want is a machiavellian technique. As a youth I was a clueless moron and was literally too honest for my own good. I had been raised that way. I read 48 laws before finding RP and thankfully started to think for myself. So not common sense for everyone.

I quite enjoyed the film 'there will be blood' for this reason. The main guy (Daniel Day Lewis) is IIRC at one point accused of fucking hoes but for the whole film builds his oil empire with only his son, no woman involvement. Would reccomend the film.

I'm starting to get good at this, its like talking to yourself before a live performance, or before your hardest set at the gym, or applying for the big job or whatever. Once you're in the situation, you HAVE to deal with it, so if you could just turn off your damn brain for 5 minutes and actually put yourself in the line of fire, there would be no alternative but to follow through. I admit this takes lots of practice but I'm seeing results

Funny, I get the opposite. I always chalked this up to me not being 'traditionally' attractive although I've cut a lot recently and am working to remedy this. After I got out of a LTR (mutual split), I was actually pretty upset for a while, and so just decided to focus on myself. So there were a few months were I didn't even game, just me time. Took my diet extrememly seriously, (I already did kickboxing but needed to compliment it), joined the gym to lift heavy weights; so far I've lost about 2 stone and I wasn't that bad to begin with, this may seem shallow, but eating better has also improved my mood and energy generally, as my diet was pretty bad …

Treating it as a rule would be foolish. I don't really agree with it, but was more intrigued by it; I felt that there may be some truth to it, aside from the obvious awkwardness of the tests and so on. I was thinking more about how people are dynamic and change. Pure attraction to each other (relationship issues aside) could change in a relative sense. Although as I type this, I feel it's probably not worth the discussion I anticipated..

I think I might add an edit saying that the articles definition of the concept, and the sources for it are not what I was interest in per se, but more about people choosing similarly attractive people, based on how we here define attraction. Instance probably exist where people become exclusive for a period of time, before reaching their full potentional, which is mainly the scenario I was considering (my bad for communicating it poorly).

As soon as you start to worry again, all that confidence goes out the window. Hanging out with a group of mates to get pissed should be fun no matter what happens. Have a laugh with your mates, meet some new ones, talk to any girl you think seems hot/interesting, and if you do end up talking to the girl who friend-zoned you originally, throw in some light kino, don't be obvious, don't build it up too fast, just remember to relax and have fun!
