Can anybody find me the source? I clicked on the study this blog post mentions and it doesn't say this https://www.newyorkfed.org/research/college-labor-market#--:explore:unemployment

It's rape.

Again, read through the source. Yes cohabiting children still do better if it's with their biological parents. However, married parents are still the ideal

Read the source. This isn't about different families cohabiting, it's about parents who are living together but not married.

If you want to be a baby mama that's your choice, but studies show that children do far better when their parents are married. https://ifstudies.org/blog/new-research-confirms-having-married-parents-helps-kids-get-ahead#:~:text=In%20brief%2C%20we%20find%20that,are%20born%20to%20unmarried%20parents.

I don't think a website that has "alpha and beta male statistics" is a very reliable source of information lmao

If you want children, please get married. Studies show that children do far better if their parents are married. I grew up without a mother in the house, and it negatively affected me in many different ways. If you're worried about losing money in the divorce, get a prenup.

I don't agree with hookup culture but no peer reviewed study has ever claimed that you'll stop bonding with people if you have too much sex lol You have a point about stds though

They don't mention it because it's pseudoscience lol Birth control does not "mimic the stagnant hormone level of males", it actually lowers testosterone for most women https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3845679/ There's no evidence that birth control causes you to prefer feminine men https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6328097/%23:~:text%3DIn%2520conclusion%252C%2520we%2520replicated%2520the,women%2520not%2520using%2520…

Tbf that wasn't done through a sperm bank, that was a man who provided sperm to a woman through a "verbal contract" meaning he had no evidence of it I'm sure if you go through an actual licensed sperm bank it would be different

Any study based on self reported data is bs.
/r/MensRights31/12/24 06:12 PM
1

Yeah, that's pure cope lol. Most women do not want a divorced man
/r/MensRights31/12/24 06:11 PM
6

Another problem I've seen on social media is people will use blog posts or influencers as sources of information. Influencers on tiktok were claiming that men can't love people as deeply as women because "testosterone suppresses oxytocin" No reliable sources have ever made that claim lol and even if they did, falling in love with someone is a lot more complex than just one hormone
/r/MensRights26/12/24 09:11 PM
1

It's bs. There are women that cheat with strangers and there are men that leave their wives for their mistresses
/r/MensRights17/12/24 02:41 PM

I wouldn't hug any stranger like that. That's not safe
/r/MensRights02/12/24 08:11 PM

So in the UK men who were raped aren't legally recognized as rape victims But calling them bald is sexual harassment? What if they're actually just bald lol.

Any self reported data from anonymous surveys can not be trusted. There's nothing stopping the researchers from filling out their own survey to sway the results.

Why are you destroying personal property and then blaming on your wife? You definitely need therapy
/r/MensRights24/11/24 05:57 PM

Self reported data about all sexual activity is inaccurate unfortunately. Any studies done on sexual activity mean nothing because people have no reason to be honest on a survey
/r/MensRights24/11/24 05:55 PM

Because women get hair care, skincare, makeup, eyebrow waxing, and plastic surgery to make themselves more attractive. Men usually don't. So lots of women look artificially attractive

This is misleading. According to your first, third, fourth, fifth and sixth sources, post vaccine symptoms are extremely rare and there's no evidence linking the vaccine as the cause. HPV Vaccines are typically given at 11-13 years old, so it's entirely possible that the symptoms are related to puberty, or maybe they're receiving diagnosis for a pre existing condition. Even if you do develop POTS or neuralgia, those are still much more manageable than cancer. The cdc recommends everybody be vacc…
/r/MensRights14/11/24 05:21 PM

Both boys and girls are supposed to get vaccinated at age 11, so when they become sexually active their immune system can fight the virus. Unfortunately though keep in mind condoms don't always protect you from hpv and the vaccine doesn't prevent you from getting it. So teach your kids to limit sexual partners.

Calling a boycott is stupid lol. But if abortion does get banned, I think it's smart to stop having sex outside of marriage.
/r/MensRights07/11/24 06:25 PM

This is worded very very stupidly/offensively, but we actually learned this in nursing school. Basically most prostate cancers happen to very old men, and since it's very slow growing. So people opt out of treatment simply because they'll be dead long before the cancer gets big enough to cause problems But I still think it's stupid to stop calling it cancer

Honestly, don't blindly believe anything you see on social media. Look for actual sources from law schools (preferably in your state, because laws can vary state by state). Most importantly, talk to a lawyer, get a prenup and make sure not to violate the terms

3 years for ruining a child's life is awful
/r/MensRights27/10/24 05:42 AM

Again, you're probably right, but unfortunately any studies done on "body count" will have to rely on self reported data which is not accurate because most people lie. So I think if we want to discourage hookup culture we shouldn't mention those studies

What bonding hormones do you believe women make that men don't? And in both the Bible and the Quran, both men and women are supposed to be virgins, and fornicators are only supposed to marry other fornicators. The only reason why they searched more on female virginity is because before paternity tests, men could lie and claim to be a virgin whereas a woman could not. That doesn't mean he was supposed to have sex. I work with rape victims and I believe that teaching young men that promiscuity isn…

In both Islam and Christianity men are supposed to be virgins as well. And it's because of child making, not bonding
/r/MensRights12/08/24 01:54 PM

Why do you believe promiscuity damages women more? No peer reviewed study has ever claimed that women bond to every man they sleep with And yes rape is equally bad for both men and women, it violates your autonomy and is traumatic

Vasectomy won't protect you from rape allegations, herpes, or hookup thieves (like cardi B) Sex is the most intimate thing you can do with a person, if you don't trust them, why are you giving them your literal genetic materials? Stay celibate if you don't trust people

Yes these are rhetorical questions lol and what he's saying is not true. Pride is a deadly sin, whether its gay pride or catholic. In fact, constantly stating his opinions as facts is the exact form of pride that the Bible is talking about Nowhere in the Bible does it claim your life isn't complete without kids Nowhere does it say abortion is murder, in fact it DOES say that life begins at first breath, not conception. I wouldnt call it sexist, because he said the same thing about men last year in his speech at VA tech. But its very pretentious and self centered. Here's the thing, the video that he posted included a picture of his shirt that has the school's full name and logo. The problem with the "rate of depression" is that it only includes people who are diagnosed with depression. Better yet, don't have sex with people you wouldn't want a baby with. Even if you use condoms perfectly every time, they can still get caught in the woman's body, slip off, or tear.

Everything you do causes a chemical reaction in your body, every thought or feeling you have is due to chemical reactions. That doesn't absolve you from paying for somebody who might be getting trafficked.

It's targeting people who pay for sex, regardless of gender or orientation. Studies show that the majority of sw aren't there by choice, and a lot of them are being trafficked. I have no problem with this.

Because drugs are chemically addictive substances that will kill you if you take too many, and can also kill you due to withdrawal. Sex is not. That's not really a fair comparison lol Also most prostitutes are not there by choice so yes it does make sense to prosecute the buyers. You're taking advantage of vulnerable people https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9588395/&ved=2ahUKEwjhz6yVpfSEAxWjfDABHfPZBRcQFnoECFAQAQ&usg=AO…

It's simple, the police are no longer going to prosecute people who are selling sex but they will still continue to prosecute the buyers. This way, prostitutes can report their abuse to police without fear of consequences, so abusive clients will get locked up But people who pay for sex can still be arrested which discourages sex trafficking

I'm glad you haven't seen it. I was on tumbler back In 2013 and a lot of pro Anna/Mia pages had coquette themes, and would romanticize the film Lolita, or encourage girls to get a sugar daddy And no these 18yo girls are obviously not attracted to their sugar daddies lol Obviously not everyone who wears that style is bad, but it was definitely associated with a lot of gross messages, at least when I was introduced to it
/r/MensRights10/03/24 05:01 AM

There's nothing wrong with being sexual But coquette is definitely problematic. They encourage young girls to have eating disorders and date old men as soon as they turn 18 They also glamorize alcoholism and mental health problems Don't get me wrong, the style itself is beautiful. But the messages that it often comes with are very problematic

No decent woman will ever want to stay with a man that's abandoned his children. There's something biologically ingrained in us to hate that kind of behavior. Your children will never be able to respect you again, and if they ever meet their Half siblings then it will be hard for them to forgive you for abandoning them. It will never be the same as real abortion. If she was clean and then all of a sudden she has it, and he cheated, then it's pretty easy to realize she got it from it. Just the fa…
/r/MensRights20/02/24 02:40 PM

Yes that's why I'm saying that both genders cheating is equally wrong. And yes if you cheat then you're a deadbeat, you're giving another woman the power to make a baby with you, which will greatly impact your family's financial situation and your children's mental health. You're also bringing STDs home to your wife, which greatly increases her risk of cervical cancer. Women will never be ok with it, we will never think it's "not as bad" for men. No matter how hard you try to convince us
/r/MensRights19/02/24 02:20 PM

If you have multiple baby mamas, that still counts as a blended family. So yes, cheating is equally bad for men. You're giving another woman the power to create a baby and take a large sum of your money for 18 years, and then you're also putting your wife at risk for incurable STDs which increases her risk of cancer. Women will never be okay with it, no matter how much you try to convince us

Sure, you could say that but here are some counter points: -Men have no say in birth control or abortion. If a woman gets pregnant by her affair partner, she can choose to have an abortion, but if a man impregnates another woman, that other woman now has the power to make a baby with him -Men can not be tested for HPV, which can cause cervical cancer in women. So if a man cheats on his wife, he can't prove to her that he's clean -Women have a lot more opportunities to cheat than men. We have to …

Or as long as the man doesn't get his wife pregnant while cheating on her. Carrying a baby for a man that's cheating is one of the most degrading things that can happen to a woman. If you get married, your taxes are lower, your likelihood of being approved for a loan is higher, and your spouse will get more money if you're in the military. I couldn't find any sources/studies claiming that prenups regularly get thrown out. No idea where you read that. If you're having children with somebody, you're going to be financially tied to them whether you marry or not, and the government will be involved too. Don't have kids with someone before marriage that's stupid

I think it's very stupid to purposefully have children before marriage. Why would you make a baby with somebody you don't want to marry? Also always get a prenup

The study on IPV shows that age gap relationships with teenagers have very high rates of violence. I couldn't find any sources claiming that the study was being "contested" as you say. It was literally posted by a government website. It seems like you don't want to accept what the data is saying. That's ok because I'll tell you that young women do accept it, that is why we are against old men hitting on us

Yep some of these teenagers were already mentally ill, due to childhood trauma, and then the older partner seeks them out in order to take advantage of them. Or sometimes the older partner is the one who drags them into the bad habits. But either way, the statistics show that older adults who date teenagers are not usually going for a healthy relationship. Less than 8% of couples have a large age Gap, and in general age gap marriages have higher rates of divorce and instability. https://gitnux.org/age-difference-between-couples-statistics/ So for every single 40yo woman, there's also a single 40yo man, but they don't get as much attention.

Comparing your genitals to an inanimate object is not going to protect you from STDs and it's not going to convince a judge to get you out of paying child support. Stop encouraging hypersexuality in men, it's a bad idea for both genders.
/r/MensRights30/01/24 04:13 AM

That's not true. Both men and women tend to bond with people through sex, because we release endorphins that could lead to an emotional reaction. Yes? https://wir2022.wid.world/chapter-5/ Globally, women only earn about 30% of the world's income, and in Asia and Africa that number goes down to the 20s. This is because women tend to work less hours, and choose lower paying jobs. I'm not saying that it's men's fault, but in the vast majority of countries, men are expected to be the providers, especially outside of the west. So vivek is most likely saying this to appeal to immigrants from those countries

You still haven't shown me any sources that claim women get half of the man's stuff. I've shown you guys three different sources that all claim that women are significantly more likely to live in poverty post divorce, so no they are not incentivized to divorce. How is poverty an incentive?
/r/MensRights23/01/24 04:08 AM

I cited my source in the original comment. Even if your source is correct, 5 to 6k is abysmally low, even if it's only one child. The added rent, food, gas, childcare, Healthcare, and utilities don't even add up to that. And then you also have to remember time spent off work to watch/take care of the kids. 5 to 6k is not enough.
/r/MensRights23/01/24 04:06 AM

Even if that is true, the woman is still the one taking care of the kids, so overall she gets more financial burden than financial gain. Never forget that the average child support payment is 1800 per year, which isn't nearly enough

Yep. Lots of people on here seem to think that a woman will get half of the man's things in the divorce, which isn't true, but even if it was, if there's children involved then the woman is still at a disadvantage
/r/MensRights20/01/24 04:24 PM
-53

No they're not, women are more likely to be impoverished after divorce, likely because they're the ones taking care of the children https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5992251 Comments like these only encourage women to divorce their husband's.

Stop telling people to break up their families over mundane arguments/disagreements. Yall always complain about women who divorce for "no reason" and then encourage divorce over such a dumb/small disagreement

Stop telling people that their whole relationship is over because of petty arguments. This is a very mundane argument. Combine that with the stress from a small baby, its normal to argue

The trick is to make your English teacher like you, write essays that adhere to their opinions, and use unnecessary amounts of pretentious words. Other than that, make sure your grammar and citations are perfect and you basically always get a good grade. I learned that and I passed English easily without trying

There are no FDA approved hpv tests for men. If a man has slept around its very likely he has it, even if he tests negative
/r/MensRights17/01/24 03:43 PM

Hpv is more likely to spread from PIV sex. Even with a fully in tact condom, you can get it from the upper part of the pelvis which isn't covered by a condom. The real moral of the story is "don't sleep around"
/r/MensRights17/01/24 03:39 PM
3

This is why I wish that literature/English wasn't pushed as much as it is. The truth is, there's no "right answer", it's entirely subjective. 9 out of 10 times your grade depends on the teachers opinion of you. This wouldn't happen in a math class
/r/MensRights17/01/24 03:35 PM

Its scary how young boys are being groomed on social media to believe that sleeping around will make them "high value" or "impressive". If you willingly have sex with a woman that's not on reliable birth control, that's not baby trapping. You knew the risks and you still took them. "Casual sex" doesn't exist, especially for men. Every woman you sleep with could likely be the mother of your child, since condoms alone are not reliable. Don't sleep with people you don't trust.
/r/MensRights14/01/24 03:21 AM

Before sex. If you have sex with a woman, she could be the mother of your kids, whether you "commit" to her or not. Don't have sex with people you don't trust
/r/MensRights11/01/24 01:58 PM

Nope, if you're not sexually satisfied then talk to her, break up with her, or jack off. Cheating is not a need. If a woman cheated on her husband because he wasn't having sex with her enough would you be say it's ok, it's her "needs"?

Smart idea, you are a good role model to young men, rather than the predatory influencers that encourage them to sleep around

The truth is, it will never be the same. Even if it does become legal, the majority of women will not want a relationship with a man who's abandoned his children. You will spend the rest if your life wondering what happened to the child, and the majority of men in that situation end up severely depressed. I think it's a good idea to not have sex with women you don't trust. I hate how much casual sex is being promoted/encouraged to young men, because the truth is, every woman you sleep with could…

Lol yes I believe it, they literally read the messages aloud in court. She didn't "manipulate" him into anything, he was the one who suggested it and even took Weeks to convince her to agree to it. Not saying he deserves life, but the reason he got a longer sentence was because of the rape, plus the two previous arrests. Thats what i used to think, but then i watched the documentary, rather than the tv show. That's not what actually happened. Yes, I will call him a deadbeat. The thing about abortion is that fetuses don't have sentience. You're not hurting something that can think, feel emotions or pain. The child that you're abandoning does. The child you're abandoning will live his entire life wondering why his dad didn't stay for him, and will be a lot more likely to live in poverty and be abused in foster care. I agree. Again, I want to make it clear that I do think that paper abortion should be legal. Women can abandon their kids and so can men. However, I do not think it should ever be compared to abortion because it is objectively much more harmful. You're abandoning your living, sentient child and giving them up. It should be highly frowned upon and discouraged.

I agree that both adoption and paper abortion should both be legal, but I think they should be highly highly discouraged and only used as a last measure. You're literally abandoning your kids, this should never be normalized. Sex will never be the same for women and men. If a woman doesn't want a child, she has 12 different forms of birth control to choose from, plan B pills, calender method, and condoms. And if all else fails, she can abort the fetus before its brain even develops If a man does…

I understand your point but universal basic income is not a replacement for a loving father. Financial abortion may be legal but it should be strongly discouraged

Ok, I don't believe in late term abortion so I can't speak on that. I would say that when it comes to pregnancy and child birth, we can never have gender equality. The woman is the one whose body is greatly affected, so of course it should be her decision. I do agree that men can be legally allowed to financially abort, but I think it should be highly discouraged
/r/MensRights06/11/23 02:56 AM
2

I think it should be legal, but we can't act like these are at all the same. She is aborting a fetus that doesn't think or feel anything, he's abandoning a child that will forever wonder why his dad didn't want him. The first scenario doesn't hurt anybody, the second one does.
/r/MensRights06/11/23 02:38 AM

Because a fetus doesn't have any sentience. The child you're abandoning does. It will never be the same thing.
/r/MensRights06/11/23 02:25 AM

Even if you do "opt out of financial support" this is still different from regular abortion. You'll spend the rest of your life knowing that you have a child out there, not knowing whether or not they're ok, or whether they're mad at you for abandoning them. You will never be able to adopt again or win custody of any other kids you have. The majority of women wont take you for a serious relationship. It will never be the same as an actual abortion. The truth is, men have to be careful who they h…

Racism is taught, ageism is more innate. Older men seem like father figures to us, so it feels inappropriate for them to be hitting on us, especially for girls younger than 21. We also hear the way they talk about relationships and its usually more controlling than men our own age

This is a necessary practice in Healthcare. We do this for both genders, because if you ARE in an abusive relationship, it will be safer for you to admit it if you're alone. I've done this for men as well. If she had answered "no", they would call the police and let them handle it. The police would take your statement and hers, and then social work would take over. Even if you are still producing sperm, the quality is not the same. Your body goes through changes as you age, which damages the ability to produce healthy sperm. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7564187/ This is why babies born to older fathers are more likely to have lots of different diseases.
/r/MensRights28/10/23 09:20 PM

You're only looking at one specific disease, not the big picture. There are a LOT of diseases that are more likely for older fathers, including seizures, schizophrenia, several types of cancer, gestational diabetes, low birth weight, breast cancer in female offspring, etc etc You're right that each individual disease isn't too much more likely. But the overall likelihood of health problems is still much higher in older fathers.

Doesn't matter. You're still capable of controlling access to sex. Maybe more men choose not to, but that doesn't mean they can't. Not all men are fuckboys
/r/MensRights27/10/23 08:40 PM
0

I'm not demonizing or constraining anybody lol. I'm stating objective facts, and you're getting offended by them. Objectively speaking, casual sex is risky, for both women and men. If you think the risk is worth it, that's your choice. But please stop trying to say "only women control access to sex" because that's very untrue and misandrist. Plenty of men have standards and don't try to sleep around.
/r/MensRights27/10/23 07:24 PM
1

Just because women tend to be Pickier, that doesn't mean men don't control access to it. Men can still control access to their own bodies, and who they have sex with. There are plenty of men that choose not to sleep around, and only allow their wife/girlfriend access to their body/sex.
/r/MensRights27/10/23 05:53 PM

There are certain STDs that men can't accurately be tested for, such as HPV. If you've slept around its very likely that you have it, even if you use a condom, hpv and herpes can be spread at the upper part of the pelvis, which isn't covered by a condom. Telling you reality isn't gaslighting. You take a big risk by sleeping around, maybe you should stop encouraging it.
/r/MensRights27/10/23 04:36 PM

A man can say yes or no to sex, therefore he "controls access" to it. The belief of "only women control access to sex" is the reason why male rape victims aren't taken as seriously, or seen as less manly. https://counselingcenter.utk.edu/for-male-survivors-of-sexual-assault/
/r/MensRights27/10/23 02:53 PM

You're not a wild animal, most men can control themselves. If you sleep around you're very likely to end up with STDs, unwanted pregnancies, and mental trauma. Your "biology" is not going to protect you from that.
/r/MensRights27/10/23 02:43 PM

Any woman that gets mad at you for turning her down for sex is probably a rapist. I'm not even exaggerating, that's a quality that most rapists have. I hope you get out of that situation.

The majority of statutory rapists are over 21 and their victims were mostly 14 and 15. https://www.ojp.gov/ncjrs/virtual-library/abstracts/statutory-rape-known-law-enforcement If it was really just "a few years apart" that isn't considered statutory rape, due to Romeo and juliet laws. "not to mention they don’t get shorter sentences than most other kinds of crimes" They should get much longer than 2.5 years though, statutory rape can ruin a kids life

I disagree that the courts arent lenient towards rapists. The average statutory rapists gets only 2.5 years. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://www.ussc.gov/sites/default/files/pdf/research-and-publications/quick-facts/Sexual_Abuse_FY18.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwj_7vjB0eaBAxWwlokEHWoODLQQFnoECB4QAQ&usg=AOvVaw3cyFnajCYZp2H05Tu8GXjr That isn't nearly enough.

I think it would be interesting to see that poll broken down by gender. Every time you see In the news that a teacher raped a student, it's mostly men who comment shit like "lucky kid" I wonder if it's more men that think men can't be raped

For the second point, it's unfortunate but we can't really get accurate numbers, because in some countries they have more traditional gender roles, and it's believed that only men can be rapists. HPV is given to 12 year old boys AND girls so that their immune system has a few years to develop a resistance to the disease. Or, God forbid, if a child gets raped, the vaccine will prevent them from developing throat, cervical and rectal cancer. HPV vaccine does NOT mean that children are having sex. If a 12yo child is having sex, that's usually a sign that abuse is happening in the house. That has nothing to do with self control, nor is it specific to either gender.

Wym "strawman" that was your entire argument for why we apparently "don't notice young men" Yes, it's a pretty obvious assumption. When a 24yo says "creepy older man" she's obviously not talking about a 25yo Except we are attracted to fertile men. As men age their fertility and testosterone both drop which makes them weaker and less attractive to us. Some women will overlook this for money, but that doesn't mean those guys are attractive. The difference is that age is an actual proven indicator of divorce, with every study showing that women/men who marry young are more likely to divorce, especially if it's an age gap relationship. "Number of prior partners" isn't something that can be accurately measured or proven. You'd have to rely on self reported data, and its been shown that around 30 to 40% of people lie about that. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://www.xonecole.com/amp/do-you-lie-ab…

Women absolutely see young men. The average age gap on the u.s. is 2 years, most relationships fall between 1 and 7 year age gaps. Idk why this sub thinks that all young women are sugar babies lol The reason why young women think older men are creepier is because we view them as paternal/fatherly figures, so it creeps us out when they're sexually attracted to us. It's like if your dad wants to fuck you. Very few young women are attracted to middle-aged men

Something I find interesting is that in America, men are more likely to vote in favor of the draft than women https://www.pewresearch.org/social-trends/2011/10/05/chapter-5-the-public-and-the-military/ But overall young Americans are not in favor of the draft. Only about 20% of young american men meet military standards so it's not likely they'll have a draft

7 years is not an age gap lol, age gap means like 10 years or higher which is only 8% of relationships https://www.psycom.net/relationships/age-difference-in-relationships But again, that doesn't mean older men are more attractive, they just have more money. They're also more likely to experience labor trafficking https://combathumantrafficking.org/research-action/the-intersection-between-migrant-work-and-labor-trafficking/ Maybe the reason they deport men more often is because racists think that Latinos are more violent?
/r/MensRights27/09/23 01:05 AM

Exactly lol but the source i sent you says the average age gap is only 2 years. In general young girls aren't gonna want a middle aged man. The reason young women aren't single is because they're dating each other or they're sharing a guy. As you get older, men are much more likely to be dead, so there are more single old women

/r/MensRights26/09/23 11:19 PM

The graph doesn't mention age gaps anywhere. Men are more likely to be single than women up until the age of 50, but that's likely due to the fact that men are much more likely to die younger.
/r/MensRights26/09/23 10:58 PM

The only thing these studies prove is that women who CLAIM to have a low body count are more likely to CLAIM to be faithful In marriage. The truth is, people lie. A woman who says she has a low body count is more likely to say she didn't cheat on her husband. Whether or not there's actually a correlation between those two things is impossible to determine. This is why studies based off of self reported values are not accurate.
