What are you struggling with right now? How has it impacted your life? I'm struggling with being feminine in general, as well as generalized anxiety disorder. With both of those combined, it's a disaster. I try to look nice, but then anxiety comes in and tells me that I'm doing my makeup or hair wrong (never really learned how to do it, didn't understand the importance of it until recently-ish, mother actively discouraged it in my younger years), and then I have to redo it, and redo it, and redo…

Also, to go with the Asian sellers, try going to Wish.com. Not only for nighties, but for a lot of cute super feminine clothing, too! I just love their dresses. And the winter coats they're selling at this time of year are just too cute! Also, yes, beware of the sizing! Always always always look for the measurements page!

From my understanding, men (or anyone who has seen a commercial featuring a "natural woman") like the "natural look", but they don't know that it's not natural at all. The "natural look" is made with just the right amount of make-up to where the average person wouldn't notice you were wearing make-up and would think that you were "naturally" that way. When you don't wear make-up, you look less "natural" because that is not how "natural" looks to anyone. You instead look sickly to someone who is …

Are you a crier? Yes and no. I cry during movies and books and even video games a lot, especially if my hormones are racing. I don't really cry over big things often, and if I do, it's usually in private. I was raised to not cry in front of anyone, as it was a sign of weakness. I have bad anxiety, so sometimes I get overwhelmed, and if that happens, I go to the bathroom or the bedroom and let it out as much as I can. How does your SO react to you crying? If I'm crying to a movie or something, he…

It really depends on where you are. If you're in the suburbs or rural areas, it's not likely to happen. If you live in Downtown city, you're probably gonna get a lot more. And it even differs on which city and what state and all that. I lived in both, and right now I work in a Downtown, and yeah I get it quite a bit, but I wouldn't call that "average". To calculate the average would take a lot of studies and surveys, and even then it wouldn't be accurate.

I just watched a lot of her other videos along with that one, and I officially like her. :)

I seriously think I bought this book at the school book fair and then my mom took it away. I remember the piece about how to properly apply perfume and I still use those methods to this day! :) My brothers definitely had the boys' version of this book.

I know! Same here! :( I was really disappointed when someone explained to me that "Settle Down" by Kimbra was supposed to be about how "stupid and senseless" it is to get married right away--I thought it was about how hard it is to settle down with someone in this day and age.

That "bass" song pisses me off because it's so catchy and gets stuck in my head, but the message is so horrible and stupid. :/ All this "fuck skinny bitches" nonsense is really pissing me off (I think that "Anaconda" song says this as well). Fortunately, that is the only one out of the three songs you listed that I've ever heard. I mean, the catchy and overly sexual songs are fun to dance to while you're doing house chores when you're alone and no one else is watching (and it can be a great work…

When I clean shoes (I clean them for my SO all the time), I take them apart. Laces come off, the tongue of the shoe gets pulled out as far as it'll go, and if it's possible I'll take out the bottom of the inside of the shoe (the part your foot touches when you put your shoes on). Then I wash all pieces separately by hand in the washbin with warm water and laundry soap. If there's mud on the bottom, I run it under the warm water to loosen the mud and then use a rag or a scrubber to get it off. Af…

If you ever read The Count of Monte Cristo, the Count is prime example of this. He was extremely powerful, and he was that way mostly because of manipulation. Another good example is House of Cards. Frank at one point was basically the President while he was Vice President just because he made suggestions to the President and let the President think that it was his idea all along. He would always butter up the President and make him feel like he was in control, when really, Frank was the one ste…

I'm so happy for you! Thank you for sharing your amazing story! It really is an inspiration for me, and I am sure it is to others here who have just begun their journey on self-improvement and bettering their relationship as well. :) Thank you so much for the motivation, and congratulations! Let us know when he proposes! ;D

I love watching the US version of What Not to Wear! So sad that they've stopped making episodes. :( But it really did help me figure out how to dress more feminine, as I was (and sometimes still am) very unaccustomed to doing so. In fact, I think WNTW was the first time I was really learning about what looks good and what doesn't, and it helped me to start experimenting with dressing more appropriately. I was never blessed with any kind of fashionable instinct, unless you count men's fashion. I …

Thank you so much for your response! It's very motivating. :) I'll continue working hard to take on the the feminine roll in the household and hold up my end of the bargain and my responsibilites. Thank you so much for the advice. :) I understand it'll take time, but I have confidence that things will naturally fall into a good place.

What a great metaphor! I know the feeling of hypergamy well. It's that worry that there is greener grass elsewhere and I am missing out on it. It's the fear that I'm settling down too quick for the wrong person. It's the being unsure whether or not I'll be able to control myself and remain loyal to him if I've found someone else who could potentially be better. When my SO and I got together, after a few months I was feeling this kind of worry and fear. I had never been in a relationship for as l…

Thank you for being honest. :) I will take your advice to heart. I have thrown out a few items, the worst of the baggy and the ratty. It's a slow process, but I'm trying to work through it. My wonderful SO suggested I wear yoga pants instead of sweat pants on days that I just want to be comfortable, so I am starting to do that and throw out all of my sweat pants. I have been learning more and more to bite my tongue when I feel like I'm going to tell him what to do or argue. There's no reason for…

I dream of becoming a housewife to my SO and having children someday! It seriously is my dream career. Unfortunately, though, unless I can find something I can do at home (I'm thinking of opening an Etsy shop at some point in my life), with the way the economy is right now, it'll be hard to be a housewife on one income. I'm hopeful though! I never understood why feminists are so against women being a housewife. Isn't being a feminist being able to choose how to live your life? Some people's only…

This is definitely what I aspire to in a relationship. :) It's really inspiring to hear stories like these.
