But you are assuming that men and women who choose the same college major, have the same job, and don’t take maternal have different qualifications. You have no reason to think that.

I understand it’s all random with two fucking employees. However anyone with any kind of brain or stats knowledge will understand a large sample size that Is the US then the differences decrease to zero. Also, there being no differences only supports the case that the wage gap is overblown.

Given the massive size of a population I can assume that after accounting for maternal leave all factors you listed will be the same.

I’m not disagreeing that a large amount of the wage gap is a large fallacy. But there is definitely a component unaccounted for by all of what you posted above. Additionally, in what you listed above there are some areas where women put preform men. Point 6 that you shared, women have been doing better than men in school for quite some time and have overtaken men in high education meaning that qualification would be equal to or greater than men’s. Yes that is exceedingly obvious. What I mean is you can take woman vs man in same job and compare the pay in those careers. What this does is it completely invalidates the argument you used above. It’s called controlling for job type.

This post is extremely ignorant. Now that being said I agree with you but not at all for the reasons you mentioned here. Many gender pay gaps control for career and there is still a gap (roughly 85% is what a woman earns). Now where the rest of the 15% is other things but to say what you’re saying is why feminists continue to think that there is an issue with the pay gap.
