My boyfriend moved out of our state a few months ago. It's been tough, but we're definitely closer because of it. Every Monday around noon we have lunch on skype. We try to do two skype dates a week, but Monday lunch is guaranteed. We both love board games, so we play on board game arena and talk on the phone or Skype then too. It's hard to have a deep conversation this way, but it's nice for us to be able to do something we love together. We also use the app Plato to play some lighter games (we…

For decorations, THRIFT STORES. Not only is buying second hand better for the environment, but you can find some awesome things there. Some of the ones near me will have a ton of fake flowers and wreaths. I'm picky with mine, but still have a bunch of seasonal bouquets that have all cost less than like $7 each and last forever. There are usually a TON of cooking stuff there as well! For food, look at online ads. I love Sprouts because they usually have more produce on sale and cheaper than our K…

I made some biscuits and tomato gravy this morning and should have another day or two left over. I'm not doing much in terms of meals today though. I plan on making some granola and either buffalo cauliflower or throwing that cauliflower into my dehydrator. I will probably have that cauliflower for dinner 😊

Fellow vegan here! I dated my ex for about a year then went vegan. He was an omni who didnt care what I cooked because it was a home cooked meal. We dated for another year and a half, he went vegetarian right before we broke up. It was never an issue The current guy I'm dating loves meat. He's very open to food and likes literally everything. There's really not a type of food he doesnt like aside from bok choy. I'm very lucky there, and he loves all the food I make. Again, there's no issue betwe…

It's my favorite game for sure! I really like how heated it gets and everybody's calling each other a fascist. It gets very loud and funny. It takes a "practice" round until everybody will get it, and it's definitely one of those that's easy to understand once you play. I highly recommend purchasing this!

Awesome! I just hosted a board game party a few weeks ago. I told everybody it was a BYOB thing and that I was making all the food. My guy made two dips (a buffalo jackfruit and a bean dip) and I made this DELICIOUS fall pasta salad, the best vegan cookies you'll ever eat ever, I baked a loaf of bread and had chips and veggies and what not. Anyway, I'm sure he'll love it! Surprises are the best, right? What kind of games do you have planned? We did Secret Hitler which is my favorite, Telestratio…

Yeah, I was totally fine with it and figured he was too since he's been more affectionate and complimenty lately, but apparently not. Thank you

Well thank you! Him and I actually talked about going rock climbing! I want to try it really bad. And he didn't end it and said he didn't want to, but I think we just talked about it too long over the phone. We plan to actually talk about things in person on Sunday. He says he wants to make it work

Sucks, but true. I knew I would hate what I read here, but I also knew I need it. Thank you

He said he liked the sex, just that he felt like that was the main reason I was with him. I totally get that though, but I feel like it's not a matter of attraction. He says he's still interested and what not and there's more good times than bad, and that he feels like he has so much going on, but maybe that's just me being too hopeful?

That's sweet! I help fold his laundry if he does it while I'm over. I love tedious stuff like that where he doesnt, so he's always thanking me with a bunch of kisses. Whenever we have sleepovers, he sleeps HORRIBLY. I am such a morning person and up before him so I get up, usually make some cinnamon rolls because that's his favorite and coffee! I'm not a coffee fan but I bought some quality stuff for when he stays over. I accidentally bought beans instead of ground so I use my mortar and pestle …

In mine I have a clear makeup bag for gum, chapstick, floss picks, hair ties, bobby pins and there used to be a foldable toothbrush when my friends and I would decide last minute we were having a sleep over. I have my planner and a little case for my pens. I sometimes have a charger but I'm not usually concerned with my phone or iPod dying. Sometimes I carry a backpack and will toss in whatever book I'm reading, a kindle or French study stuff, but I usually just bring that to my over night shift…

Last night for a friend's birthday, I made an eclair cake. I meant to make one for my boyfriends roommate but when I came home from a run, the crust had been eaten up by my dogs :( I'll be making the roommate grain/sugar/dairy free hazelnut chocolate chip cookies instead. This week I'm not doing much in the kitchen so just lots of raw veggies and fruits with pesto I made the other day and hummus I plan on making tonight. Should be good!

I made the syrup today! It tastes so good and pretty hahaha The pizza crust I usually just use a variety of cheeses, usually something spicy and sharp cheddar. I also make mine thicker, double the recipe and add things to the crust such as more oregano, basil and red pepper flakes. I think I put bacon bits into it once and my parents enjoyed that. It's easy peasy :)

Last week I made some pizza all from scratch! It's a cheesey and delicious grain free crust and pizza sauce is bomb with so much oregano. My dad asks for it on his birthday and it's the only time I really eat dairy. Yesterday I made ratatouille. Today I made some bread for the very first time and it was great. I'm turning it into garlic bread tomorrow :) I also did some fruit rolls in rice paper. I'm super busy all week but have plans to make lavender and blueberry syrup (for the best grain free…

Im a super long time lurker who finally decided to make an account to comment here and share something I've been really interested in lately. :) Recently I got into bullet journaling! I use a grid-like Moleskine. You set it up yourself so it's a really fun way for me to get creative. I keep track of just about everything I can in mine (weekly and monthly goals, workouts, food log, work schedule, when I sleep, quotes/lyrics, how much water I drink, body measurements, all sorts of lists, appointme…
