Makes sense. It's just you feeling guilty (which probably is unwarranted).

Uhm, okay? And you claim that this is the norm? Because I was talking about consensus, not that something never happens
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 08:35 PM

Is "post-nut clarity" consensus around here? Because I'm a guy and have never experienced it. I have thoughts like "hm, I wonder when we'll go next" and "maybe drag this out a little longer" during and and after sex. Maybe I have other weird nympho issues, but I never thought lesser of a sexual partner (or any different at all) just because we finished a round. Tldr: I don't get the concept

Every single dividing line, like: race, gender, sexual orientation, political alignment etc. is 100% manipulated as a distractor. Class war is what is tried to be avoided. This is not an argument to invalidate other grievances, but they are certainely instrumentalized for prohibiting langer groups of people to unite and rebel

Might add sources once I get back to the computer. But if you just google "gender differences social desirability responses" there is no way you won't find papers on it. No need to credit me, don't care for reddit clout

Standard issue with self-reported surveying. Since it is not the focus of the design the analysis just has to accept it for what it is. No clue whether there are major generational differences on that bias

Currently on mobile, but can't be hard to find. Don't think it is really contested in testing literature (well the degree of it probably is)

If you look at any data and literature on social desirabilty while answering questions on touchy subjects the effect always skews towards women being more prone to it

How is that related to my comment or the comment I replied to? Might be helpful to read either before you reply, then you'll have an easier time understanding content and context

Your math doesn't math. Why would all women who are not "exclusively" with women by default experience domestic violence by men?

His body in baywatch was completely unnatural and unhealthy. You can look up some interviews with him on the topic. He took meds to dehydrate himself to look more shredded

Never claimed my experience to be universal. The concept of respect is highly cultural and localized to begin with. You'll probably see huge differences how it is framed (and talked about) based of different societies
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 11:17 PM

I have never heard anybody talk about their blanket respect for any gender (outside the internet). Guess I'm lucky

Don't care enough to follow that article, since that "study" is very likely non-sense. How would you ever control for "perfect execution", does the guy finish and then some lab tech jumps in and takes a swap of the vagina?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/22 09:47 PM

Of course you can have preferences without options. Attraction being non-negotiable is also the common banner of most women on the internet and it makes sense.. you just gotta live with it if your options can't meet your preferences. As for your entire first paragraphs: filter bubble, you are exposed to this shit, because you actively seek it out. Has very little real-life resonance

Sounds like a lack of booze. I'm fairly high inhib and reserved (not conversation-wise, but I generally won't come on strongly) and having the first date end with sex always needed some clear participation by the respective women before remotely getting there. But that doesn't mean that they would have to outright jump me. A good date usually is a pretty drawnout evening, stacking beers, intensifying touching, kissing and then finding a place. Tldr: high inhib people need to drink

You sure that was the implication? Because that would be a weird thing to qualify. Honest question: do you think women "check" the worst in women? This idea of intergender policing Gillette-style just seems nuts. People might live by example or stop obvious assaults in public, but believing in the average men to be a watchdog for people who just randomly share the same gender sounds so naive. 90%+ of the misbehavior happens in private, away from others eyes. If you want to keep anything "in check" you need a functioning legal system, a social network to fall back and rely on (…

Relatable but not symmetric: perceiving male privilege (and since I don't believe in most parts of this concept I strictly define it as 'undeserved authority and assumed competence for specific men') as the reason to "wanting to take males down a peck" Why ask?

I think you misunderstood me. I conceded that they will be more comparable to each other than each of them would be to India. But that they are different enough, that treating their value systems as equal has no merit in itself
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/21 01:46 PM

Weird gottem. What does it even matter at this point. "Western values" are so ambiguous and nuanced by age bracket, socioeconomic status, location (urban/rural) and other variables that it seems silly to address them as one tangible thing. Being in a metropolitan city on either u.s. coast will be more comparable than India, but still different enough to not be able to speak of a shared set of values. All this "foreigners ree" just sounds like tribalism. Sure, their insights in your perspectives …

The males-are-horndogs-willing-to-fuck-anything narrative is really important to the agenda of the people peddling it. Sexuality, loneliness, feeling wanted/appreciated and more is all tied together for all humans, but probably with different nuances for men and women. Claiming that men just want to fuck is an easy cop out deligitimizing male sexuality and claiming a shallow moral high ground. It is definitely in the top 3 of laziest fds circle jerks

Idk that would seem really atypical for people, whilst circle-jerking seems really typical. Also you'd get a lot less content. Most the topics that are being paddled here don't have clear cut answers and a text based online forum just isn't the medium for nuance (with the wild assumption that the user's were capable and interested in that)

Honestly from what I heard of both my male and female friends I would figure that a lot of dudes have zero progressive learning when it comes to sex as a skill. You think that if a guy meets a group of other guys and mostly ignores the less attractive ones they'll likely start a fight? Reality is that you can get away with pretty wild amounts of disrespect before anything would ever get physical. Most people aren't openly disrespectful because they matured past the age of 12, not because they are afraid of physical altercations

I mean you can incentivize labour more than meeting basic needs. Theoretically all of humanity is more than productive and efficient enough that we don't need the physical labour of most humans and that effect is only going to increase. This is impossible to answer without controlling for at least: age bracket; location and social surrounding (peers, class etc.) and probably a good amount of factors I missed. It will vary so heavily based on a mix of those factors that a more general answer should be completely pointless. I'll try for germany though: during day to day busy-life? This seems logically flawed along the lines of post hoc rationalization. If the thought experiment chad doesn't lead with: "hey mama, I'mma eat you out like my morning bowl of fruitloops" then it really shouldn't change the likelihood of sex or effort on his part, since it happens after the fact (and yes, yes... women talk, but at that point it isn't just about looks or game anymore, but you d have to add some level of sociosexual reputation)

Medicine (as in being a doctor) isn't a female dominated profession. So yeah, all of this was very pointless. Maybe try male kindergarden teacher or male midwife. Those are sure to be discrimination free

You are really just using a lot of words to say nothing. Here is the thing it comes down to: you can't compare gender relations in the same profession (mechanical engineers, or just mechanics whatever) to gender relations in different fields (nurses, paramedics, doctors) just because the latter are working in the same space. There are different hirarchical structures, social evaluations, prestige etc. at play. All things not specifically gendered but bent by your awful analogy. You compared diff…

I heard you, but you didn't. You are comparing very different professions inside a hospital (nurses, doctors etc.) and their dynamics with a stereotypically dominated field Within! one profession. It really just doesn't make sense and I can say that without applying any of my personal values to the topic at hand. It just faults logically

How do you attribute that to the doings of the woke crowd itself? Just goes to show how dispensable people are these days And edit: offing one comedian neither brings societal nor cultural change
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/21 04:12 PM

Pretty much this. The woke people are armchair insurgents, loud and annoying, but ultimately toothless. They don't have the drive to change anything, it just boils down to them wanting to belong to something bigger preferably while claiming some smug air of moral superiority. Effort was definitely not in the job description

None of this makes sense. of course issues can arise in a good relationship. And of course there can be multiple issues at the same time. You also can't just communicate every relationship away. If there are libido discrepancies there might not be an easy fix. But none of that was at the heart of my reply. It was about you never adressing the core of the posts you reply to. And you basically did it yet again🤔
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/21 03:16 PM
1

Isn't all this bad faith 'debating' tiring to you? Deadbedroom = bad relationship = (and here comes Lilith) = no relationship qualities outside of sex = ??? You were really active this thread and it's near impossible to find any reply of yours where you actually adressed what the person you replied to wrote and abstained from putting words in their mouth, which you then proceeded to harp on. Where do you find the energy to keep this bullshit up?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/21 08:55 AM

So, who won the fight?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/21 12:00 AM

Is your issue really with hookup culture or weird stuck-in-teen-angst social circles? Because without that strange stand-off of one party calling the other a hoe while the reply is you being called frigid, I don't really think you got a problem. Serial monogamists have always been a thing and I'm sure whatever age group you are is no exception.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/21 09:54 PM

It's just not the same thing. A doormat gets miatreated, knows this but takes it anyway to not lose the other person. Savior complex means rationalizing the bad behavior away, yes. But while being a doormat seems like a pretty stable character trait (or set of traits) the impulse to safe some misunderstood guy who is behaving like an ass seems more like a phase (maybe even with only said guy) that a much larger demographic of women are vulnerable to than your given set of doormats
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/21 11:51 AM

Too unspecific and vague. If you brush your categories in such a broad manner they don't mean amything
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/21 08:30 AM

You missed women with a savior-complex trying to redeem their all-so-misunderstood love-interest. Which, given circumstance and specific level of self-delusion, could be any woman. Even my mom.. maybe espcially my mom😟

What you have in german academia is 80% women in most of the departments while you still get internal shitstorms for not listing a woman first on any vacant job list for higher administration. You get one sided woe is me papers covering how unfair the gender discrepancies in Mint enrollments and graduations are, while having 60%+ female students in any other discipline. German academia bent into a pretzel for women

Because it is the core of human interaction which gets as nuanced as anything can be. How fitting do you expect remote solutions to be that realistically lack 90%+ of the information needed to even form an informed opinion. Hence.. weird to even ask
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/21 12:18 PM
3

I have a counter-argument: asking the internet for advice on how to deal with people in real life (and not even particular people but behavioral advice adressing entire subgroups of people) is pretty fucking weird and only allows for shallow, meaningless and ultimately fruitless answers. They'd probably have more luck with a therapist or going for trial and error until they find something that works for them. Or idk... Ask real people that actually know them

Edit: the fact that a man is on average stronger than a woman and could do more harm is covered by more severe legal repurcussion when doing more harm. Not some weird notion of "more likely to be guilty or more risky If guilty" so -> guilty unless proven otherwise.. that's not sane
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/21 03:19 PM
3

All of this is such roundabout bullshit. The issue why holding up a double standard for wariness around either males or females is bad is simply that the double standard itself carries the expectation and insinuation that (a) man is relatively untrustworthy, shady, dangerous whatever BEFORE the fact. It's the same premise as racial profiling along the lines of criminal statistics and it reinforces the underlying social issues that foster the problem to begin with

I don't find that confusing. If you circle-jerk about your hatred for men long enough ofc you d find them physically repulsive. Women are so wonderful that they need complex filtering systems in place to stop the stinky gollum creatures from spoiling the ground they walk on... In reality women have options, but that doesn't mean they are overrun by advances. Especially today, most men don't act on their interest in a girl. They ll also make themselves avaiable, the woman in question can have a quick ewww at him and move along. The horror, poor womenfolk

I'm frequently surprised by the ongoing sentiment of inherited guilt (and accomplishment) these gender-heated discussions carry. For example 'look at all the wars led and carried out by men'. Nobody should live in constant shame for mistakes of the past, especially if they are trying to turn over a new leaf and even more so if the only person that got hurt by those past mistakes was themselves. There is no need to constantly justify themselves or anything like that. People should be upfront about their history and if that leads to future mismatches in potential relationships so be it. The thrill of the chase is mostly a young men's game. I'd say starting at even the mid 20's most guys would prefer openness, signs of interest and no games. Some women might be too direct, which can signal a lack of class and I feel it's often those women who harp on the theme of men not wanting to be approached etc.

I can't recall any sensible person around here. There probably are some lurking, but I genuinely wouldn't want to be any of the active users. Conflating it all to the topic of sex seems to be an artifact of these edgy discussions where everybody only really tries to smear the other party involved. Even after all the spin plates, casual this and that talk, what these people seem to be lacking is romantic intimacy (which sex is only a part of). And stable romantic intimacy probably would soften their depression to a degree. It removes the absolute social disconnect some of these people feel, because after years of social isolation one p…

My biggest gripe with solely relying on hints and signs is that there are people (mostly women) who are naturally really flirtatious. They generally touch a lot, compliment smile/wink with all men/and sometimes women, they feel comfortable with. It's not the most common character trait, but I could think of at least 5 in my extended social circle that behave like that even while in a ltr, it's their normal everyday attitude and behavior. Wanting the best from a market and consumerism isn't mutually exclusive. Your earlier definition of consumerism was also just flat out wrong. And none of what you said tackled the original counter point. There is a decent range of products targeted at both genders, which very purpose is to be replaced by the newer, better issue
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/20 02:22 AM
2

Sorry but you are just going off on a very weird rant, because you can't except that your theory is flawed. From all your comments I've seen, you just have a really really strange need to feel in the right. None of what you just wrote adressed what I said
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/20 11:32 PM

Consumerism is directly linked to the market. You said "men will grow attached to things they get from the market", well they often don't. Newer, bigger, better is deeply rooted in some products for both men and women
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/20 02:51 PM

Doesn't really account for hyper consumerism which you find for both genders (just with different products) Think phones, cars, notebooks, fashion etc.

A lot of window dressing for two inherently human conditions that can't be done away with all the added nuance in the world. Biological desire to reproduce and the psychlogical desire not to go through life in isolation (the 2nd one probably weighs heavier) My guess for why the current cultural brand of love doesn't work out so much is the notion of everyone being disposable/replacable. The fuck is this post even about? The difference between humans and animals is that humans can actively fight/neglect their biological desires. A weak animal will still try to reproduce to the best of its abilities. A man who doesn't feel like he has a shot with women after failing out a few times might just quit trying. That actually makes a pretty big diference

The onlyfans hyteria is somewhat irritating to me. Just because you'd expect that market to saturate really quickly. It's the same as when every teenager wanted to be the next big youtuber or twitch streamer. Those plattforms made a few people really big, but it is basically impossible to really break in and grow now. The market for camgirls is probably a lot smaller, but it is a similar business model. Either way, I just think it must be heartbreaking to become a parent and not get the chance to be a continous, active part of your childs life (and being there every other weekend just doesn't cut it). And in a culture where people just bounce out of relationships over the smallest gripes, you better be damn sure who you conceive a child with. And that statement as a whole is equally applicable to both genders (who ends up with the child more often then is a secondary thought, because either way…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/20 02:53 AM

Joint custody shouldn't be too hard to get, but it's also not what it really is about. The right to determine where your child lives (idk the english legal term) is what it is all about. It makes the difference whether you are raising your child or dropping in every now and then. And that right (for young children) basically only goes to the father if the woman in question is objectively unfit, or do you find this statement to be exaggerated?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/20 02:06 AM
2

Young infants don't predominatly stay with their mothers even if the father fought for full custody in the us? I get that it isn't the average case, but one of the reasons for it not being the norm is, that there is very low chance of success. With older children, that can actually express their will themselves, things look differently

Germany. Chances rise and fall with the childs age. If you have the funds, maybe go for a nesting model, but I m not convinced that that is necessarily in the childs best interest either. It's tough either way, when one parent has to play side-fiddle

I really don't feel comfortable speaking for all or even the majority of my gender on this matter. My biggest fear in taking my ltr to the next level: marrying, conceiving a child... well, building a family. if it turns out to crash, I'll be at a huge disadvantage getting custody. This should vary a lot based on age and social circle. Within my own I'd say extreme promiscuity is very rare and probably somewhat shunned for both men and women (while the men would probably habe a bit more leeway). The cheering effect for a a guy that takes home several new girls every week is definitely not universal, since while you can frame it positively, you can also frame it as immature, hedonistic and vain
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/20 11:39 AM

Your premise is illogical. Just because something is perceived as a problem it doesn't mean that people have to do and sacrifice to an unlimited degree to "solve" it, while opening up new problems on other fronts. I could give you countless analogies that showcase this

I think it's less a mentality thing and more that average height in germany is fairly high. Especially among young 20 somethings. When I still went to university I rode the bus up. The frequency with which I encountered people massively taller than me (I'm 6'1) was really strange. The guys had to crouch down to even fit in that thing. So the expectations on height among german girls just might be higher

These can negitavely correlate with neuroticism, but neither have to and often enough don't (significantly). It kinda seems that you cherrypicked a stat (yes, women pretty much always score higher on neuroticism) and then you made a huge leap of interpretation to match your thesis, while there are constructs available much better suited …

Sorry, we don't 'all know it'. I'm fairly indifferent towards all strangers alike. Seeing the other gender as beneath you isn't healthy My point, which you seemed to have missed, was, that if you risk all that terrible bodily harm just for a free meal, you probably have less 'intrinsic value' than you thought you did OR which is much more likely, since I'm sure you are a wonderful person, that you highly overstate the risk involved in meeting somebody in a public space for the first time

Socially? Yes. Profesionally? No. Women might have an easier time getting entry level jobs, but I imagine the more you advance, the more it tilts into a male bias. To be fair it isn't all muh muh muh mysoginy. Women (still on average) are socialized in a way too timid manner, too high neuroticism and they really struggle to fake it when in doubt. So while climbing steep career ladders the average male character is more resilient (inwards) and expresses more reliability (even though it might be f…

There is progression and there are constants. You can develop a career and go from broke with potential to being well off. But you can be a broke abusive asshole who progresses to become a wealthy abusive asshole. Your argument is stupidly onedimensional. Sure you can invest, but the argument about women choosing poorly mostly revolves about them choosing guys with character traits that are pretty damn consistent and won't change with climbing any socio-economic ladder

Got to agree. Men more readily offer friendship and a social-in to other men than to women (except the desperate thirsty types when it obviously is not about friendship). I definitely do so myself. I don't really care for your opinion on the whole thing. I'm just telling your that your premise was flawed from the very beginning. Partner choice isn't exclusively about moral reasons and dealbreakers and the level of 'morality' you want in a longterm partner or a one off thing aren't the same either. You are trying way too hard to compare two different things by the same metric
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/20 10:23 PM
1

Yes, but that doesn't make sense. Being okay with having hook up sex with a girl who fucks around and not wanting to ltr her for the same reason IS just applying different standards to two seperate things. It doesn't make you a hypocrite. An example of hypocrisy is being a manwhore while expecting to only ltr virgins. You apply different standards in the same context. The stuff you are arguing about is applying different standards in different contexts (which is quite normal )

Obviously there are no guarantees, since there is always some exposure to risk alone with a stranger. But it's not like you can't mitigate risk dramatically. But I admit that oversexualizing platonic aquaintances must be annoying, at the same time I don't know who the guys are that do this. I personally don't know anybody that ever had a problem of treating women as regular people and didnt step VERY lighty when fishing romantically in a common social circle

Where exactly do you keep seeing the primary school play of the beauty and the beast? I barely see any reallife approaches in a year, yet half these posts make it seem like if you go out all you see is 'the hills have eyes - bachelor version'. Not buying it

Isn't the blame game getting really old? And i don't exclude any sides here, but the 'you, no you' over who is at fault is pointless. It is interesting why things are the way they are, but the witch hunt over who really is the all-evil-doing mastermind behind it all isn't (hint: there is no single entity like that)

You are fighting a noble but lost cause here. It's the strangest thing to see a gender dynamics sub where most people can't abstract from their egocentrical, personalized viewpoint. But seeing how so many of the (often interesting) topics are rooted in personal experiences it isn't that surprising. Some sort of micro/macro differentiation would still be nice. This one case invalidates the whole premise non-sense got old quick (this is amateur social sciences and not physics)

That is just generally true, for both masturbation and sex, male orgasms are weaker. Still not sure how that gives comparatively more control. Men want sex more than women, but the reason isn't that male masturbation orgasms suck
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/20 06:28 AM

I don't understand your toys argument at all. Do you think it is particularly hard for men to orgasm through masturbation?

Wait what? Especially that second paragraph. Not even trying to be a dick, I'm unable to figure out your last sentence. Otherwise you just assume bad intent because this guy might be dating down, but there are too many possible explanations for that (kink/fetish, easy hook up, genuine intetest, not as shallow, serial killer). You won't know until you probe more. But assuming red flags just because he is super hot and quickly leaves an impression (which goes hand in hand anyway) just doesn't make…

Might be the reason a very specific group of men hate women. But don't sell yourself short like that, there are plenty of good, non-sexual reasons to hate individual women Personally I can never get further than mildly annoyed though, more takes too much effort

Wouldn't you having all this power incentivize you even less to let your husband fuck around? If you have him by the balls, why would you have to give him that much freedom? Didn't you say that the guys aren't actually going to jail? But yeah I care, provide the study. Jstor or any large platform with general university access is fine. Well yeah, you can't force anybody (legally) to have sex with you. What you can do is draw consequences from constant neglect. The 'call the cops' on you thing you keep repeating is shallow as hell and you really can't back it up. I do agree though that false accusations should be persecuted harder. That is both on the legal system and the person being victim of the false accusation though. Most let it go and are all to happy if the accusation goes away without pressing back legally. Why do you think authority over the situation is so lopsided? The legal situation after birth is fairly equal for both parents, though I'd agree that it is a bad idea for the guy to split while the kids are very young. Family courts tend to side with the mother and they absolutely do with very young children. But after the first years are over it's not like you have no chance to keep your children as a man For the actual childcare this makes even less sense. Why do you believe in this weird ster…

The "you don't ever get anything out of having a kid part other than banging different women" doesn't make any sense to me. You get to be a father with both the perks and downsides to it. if I wanted to bang strange women I could do that now. It's different priorities and things you seek in life. Banging other women isn't really attached to fatherhood. If my ltr sexlife has an understandable dry spell due to pregnancy or the stress with a newborn I ll cope. No, I'm still investing into my relationship to the point where getting a kid is as safe as can be. Not lookIng forward to split with a 2 year old (apparently the most common divorce year with the first child). I'm 31 so getting with a girl in her 20's isn't that big of a deal, but how is that so tempting. What is the big temptation you'd trade your family in for? Different pussy and a few fun getaways? You are probably right on average, but you are taking it to the extremes and dichotomizing it in the process. I'be probably wanted kids more than i wanted a lifelong partner all my life and I'm a dude. Family orientation goes in both genders, not every guy disposes of his kids like a commodity
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/20 10:54 PM

Idiotic premise. Most people would change aspects about themselves they absolutely could't live with, so an alternate sex duplicate of yourself would always sound datable. It's a given threshold. If you are looking for a partner to complement your flaws and the things you are lacking, while not dragging in red flags of their own... best case you are better off, but you can't blame people for betting on the devil they know

I settled in more than one dimension in my relationship (yet am/was happy) and I let myself go way more than my partner. Fell together with pretty straining periods in my life though, masters and phd, tons of stress i didn't experience before, more drinking, less exercice and grooming. Idk dude, seems as logical or illogical to me as the link you tried to bridge between 'women should get more out of relationships' BECAUSE they run a higher risk of being raped. Men are more likely to die in a violent crime, therefore they should get 20% off on dog food and a car wash monthly

How is it nuts? It's not if the issue is with the hyper sensitive complaining culture in the first place. Doubling down and being as thin skinned on men's issues is no solution, might be less of a double standard, but it would be an even shittier world to live in

Technically none of these are objectification. I see sexism, creepiness, vanity, lookism, a lot of cases of general scumminess. But none of those is really somebody objectifying another. Tbh "watch porn" comes closest, because you really don't see the people in it as complete human beings and they are reduced to a function, but we also do that to actors in movies. Your argument boils down to: "men are sick in the head and need therapy, because they commit all the violent crime". Have you ever related those numbers to general stats of the population? You diagnoze and prescribe treatment to an absurdly large body of people, most of which had never and will never get in contact with the symptom you are trying to fix (violent crime). Most violent offenders are men, most men aren't violent offenders etc. So no, most of violent crime being on men does not mean …

The thing is that we were never talking about that (well I guess you were. because of a severe lack in reading comprehension; or you are chosing to not address the point on purpose, how would I know) My initial point was that you were actively downplaying and marginalizing the physical threat a woman CAN be to her partner. So far you completely failed to talk to said point, kept misleading what was actually asked of you, became strangely defensive, while circling a statement I neither made nor d…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/19 05:40 PM

How is this an heated argument or me worked up? You are capsing random words for no reason. What I wanted was to point out, that women aren't a non-threat (physically) like your original post made it out to be, especially if they are close and unstable. The biggest threat to anyone aren't people who are physically more powerful than them, but people who aren't in their right mind and thus willing to do the kind of harm being talked about here (which physically pretty much anybody is capable of)
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/19 02:42 PM
1

Can you see that you are not arguing the point? The disparity you are talking about (however factual it may be) is completely irrelevant to my issue with your post. Men being "more of a threat" to women does not negate women being a potential threat to a man, especially with his guard down (home setting, relationship of trust etc.) So you can repeat yourself and tell me about differences in likelihood again but: a > b does not imply b = 0
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/19 01:20 PM
1

So? How does that relate to your initial point or mine? I never said that men can't be a physical threat or that they don't have more options to them, especially against a weaker target. But you dismissed the physical threat a woman can be to a man as a possibility and that is definitely incorrect. Sure, her options might be limited, but if she had wanted to (and didn't care about the consequences), she could have done any degree of harm to your father. The situation isn't some brawl. in a priva…

Why do so many people on here act like a woman can't be a physical threat to a man? Life isn't a cage fight, there are any number of ways for her to hurt him physically, from stabbing him with a kitchen knife to actually killing him, be it in his sleep, substances in the food or whatever. If you can't trust somebody you live with on that level, because they are mentally ill or whatever reason, then you actually are in constant physical danger

Mostly that most women either can't reign themselves in or don't deem it necessary in intimate private settings. They are perfectly capable of doing so in work settings, anything official or even around mutual friends, but I have yet to be with or meet a woman that is either with you or very comfortable with you in a platonic sense, that would pragmatically debate a point she is invested in and not heat it up emotionally.
