Having a kick-ass family and loving friends, a well paying career field I have now during my humanities studies, Swedish snus, haven't relapsed into anorexia for over 3 years now

I guess the fact that I've gotten to do some of the things I always wanted to do.

Experience party life, travel to and live in a whole bunch of countries, work as a war correspondent, embed with foreign troops, get published internationally, force government investigations, make friends with a bunch of interesting people, experience mutual love, do a whole bunch of drugs without negative consequences, learn first aid, learn to skydive, drive a motorbike around Southeast Asia, date a girl of every broad racial group, etc.

I can't say I'm happy but I would be much more unhappy if I hadn't done all those things.

Went to a party like 2 days ago, due to all this pandemic stuff and my university going all online I don't get to hang out with my friends from school as much so it's always nice when I get a chance to see them.

Added bonus I got shitfaced and miraculously didn't wake up with a hangover.

My mother for raising me with good values
Myself for always pushing myself and learning new things
My husband for being his awesome self and showing me that I may be a half decent parent in the future
Friends for the wonderful support network and brutal honesty
Golf for showing me that I can stand for 4-6+hrs straight

My baby girl is 3 weeks old and perfectly healthy. She has 2 grandmas who have been beyond helpful and a Daddy who actually acts like a parent and not like some of the man/children i read about on Reddit.

im grateful for my awesome friends and my awesome family, having so many siblings meant never being lonely and it was great

im grateful for my hoarder frugal tendencies since i had saved much much more than enough to get through these shitty times on my own and that felt great, i even bought my own bougie espresso machine and it's been fun

Today I’m grateful to have found a new way of holding my knitting needles. Spent a good chunk of my Sunday trying different holds, lacing the yarn through my fingers different ways, and placing rings on different fingers to see if it helped my tension. Now I’ve developed my own ideal hold that is super comfortable and allows me to knit faster. It’s also been a week since I last had a cigarette I’m really killin it lately.

I’m so grateful for my supportive family and my awesome cousins, my best friend, my physical and mental health and my family’s health, my amazing boyfriend, my sweet pet, and I’m grateful that the internet exists so I can keep working on my academics and keep in touch with everyone during this unfortunate year. I’m grateful I don’t have any student loans and I’m grateful that I’m not single or overweight.

Having an amazing wife, kid, and house. I am also grateful for not being a degenerate. Who would have thought doing things for long term growth over that quick dopamine high would have given me such a great lot in life. Reading about most of you losers and problems makes me realize that 99% of your problems could be cured if you stopped going after hookups, started working out, and eating healthier.

Wouldn't gratitude imply something given to you? I guess I could be grateful for my house (even though I do have a mortgage that I pay for it), but I only have it because my mother died. And honestly it's kinda screwed me over in other aspects.

If I had to pick, I'm grateful for my gun, which will hopefully sit and wait till about 10 years down the line when it can finally serve it's true purpose. Though, so long as the use is it's true purpose, I don't care if that time comes sooner rather than later. But that wasn't given to me, I had to buy that with my own money.

I am grateful for my grandmother, even if we aren't super close. She did do a lot for me as a kid. Too bad I couldn't make anything out of it.
